I am looking to create more of a defines cheekbone. How do you make blush accent your cheekbones?
smile and put the blush on the chubby part of the cheecks than when you are done doing that you should probbaly suck your cheecks in and then when you see the hollow part of your cheecks put the blush there!!!How do you make blush accent your cheekbones?
On the apples of your cheeks and cheek bones
take a brush and put it over them. Don't put it all
over your cheeks, that's the mistake people make.
Start the blush where this girl is and go up, into the side
burn hairline. Put on a little extra to make them standout more.
But not too much!
http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/鈥?/a>
Take your brush and dip it in the blush (or swirl it if you are using a makeup cake) and then tap it. Then smile so the apples of your cheeks are showing. Tap the brush on each apple and then sweep upwards towards the corners of your eyes. Blend it in and you will have a natural blushing look that will help define your cheek bones. Also use a color that compliments your skin tone and is the shade of your own natural pinkness. You can usually go one shade up to make it more dramatic but the best blush is a natural one.
get a blush that has two different tones. a darker one and a lighter one. (or you could always just buy 2 different blushes, but make sure the colors compliment each other..)
put the darker shade underneath your cheekbone, a little lower than where you put your blush regularly.
then, put the lighter shade right above the darker one; where you would normaly put blush. smile, and where the part is chubby, apply it there.
thats how you get defined cheekbones! : )

How do you apply blush the right way?
And how do you get the smokey look on your eyes? Is their a web site that can show me? Do you have any tips? How do you apply blush the right way?
To apply blush, use a brush and start 2 finger widths away from your nose (which should be the apple of your cheek) you can find it pretty easily just by smiling. The you want to brush in an upward stroke blending it up and into your hairline so you don't have an abrupt stopping point or look like you have racing stripes on your face. ;)

Ths was just in instyle magazine. I tried it and swear by it---
Get a shade of blush that is really bright. I used Bobbi Brown's ';peony';---look it up online to see the color. Apply it in a circular motion just to the apples of your cheeks---blending upward toward your jaw. Most of the color is going to be on your ';apples'; of the cheek---and they just fade it out a bit moving up toward your temples so they don't look like 2 round circles! This should all be VERY soft---but the bright color really is beautiful and gives you a wonderful glow. The makeup girl on ';what not to wear'; always suggests this tip too (use a really bright color) on her makeovers.
just make sure you get a nice color blush not too dark for your skin you want it to compliment your face not be 3 times darker
and I also like STARs ideas
do the fish- face with your cheecks sucked in. that will help you know where to put the blush, as in which area, if you don't already know.
then apply from front to back in small quick strokes. you can use fingers or a cotton ball to smooth it in and blend it into the skin a little. usually the light pink or a pale red (it's a kind of pink, but close to red.. ) is the most popular, but for mabe olive or brown colored skin, you could go a little darker into red, or lighter into a pale-bright pink.
hope you can get it on properly!

I use two different shades of blush. Use any color you like with another color thats maybe a shade or two darker. Start with the lighter shade and apply on your cheek bones. Smile big and apply on the apples of your cheek working your way up to your temples. Then use the darker shade and make a fishy face. Apply the darker shade where your cheek creases in and blend upwards to your temple. Make sure there isn't a gap between the two shades and make sure that the two shades are not drastically different from one another. Choose shades that blend well together.
Follow these steps for the best smokey look:
1. Start with a cream base all over the lid.
2. With a round tip brush apply your favorite dark shadow (black preferred) from the inner crease (near tear duct) to the outter crease. Making a half circle.
3. Blend so that the half circle isn't a perfect line.
4. Close to your lash line, blending upward, apply a shimmer pink/cream color towards the dark shadow.
5. Apply the same shimmer shadow to your brow bone to accentuate the brow
6. Line the inner eye with black liner
7. Using a thin brush line you lash lines with black shadow making a very fine line.
8. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara
roll it on your cheek bone
Think of something really embarrassing, and you will blush.. the rest is just an extension of your insecurity to try to obtain unnatural perfection. Smokey look in your eyes, Go to a pool hall for a few hours.

How do I not Blush when I get embarrassed?
When ever the slightest thing turns attention to me my cheeks go on fire. Its not the cute little blushing its the ';omg your face is redder then a tomatoe blushing'; How do I stop? How do I not Blush when I get embarrassed?
There are some good suggestions at the site I am giving a link to here.
The important thing seems to be to remember that this is a thing that is bothering a lot of people and that there is nothing unnatural or bad about it. It is hard to control, but remember that even ';redder than a tomato'; might just appeal to someone of the opposite sex because it seems to show sincerity and innocence.
Some friends may gently tease you, and it would not be out of place to ask them not to and tell them how you feel. If anyone actually enjoys making you uncomfortable about blushing and keeps on making fun of you, then they may not be the right friend for you.
I think as you grow older and have more social experience, the blushing will lessen. How do I not Blush when I get embarrassed?
Well i'm not totally sure this will work, but when you feel yourself start to blush, just take a few deep breaths to calm yourself down. I wouldn't know though, because I have never blushed in my life, I can't. I wish you luck.
You have to bring a water spraying thingy wherever you go i guess. I saw it on that one UK show where this one guy sprayed himselft with a tiny bottle of water everytime his temperature rises or whatever.

What's the difference between these 2 techniques in applying blush?
Technique 1: Smiling, then applying blush on the apples of your cheeks.
Technique 2: Sucking in and/or making a fish-like face and sweeping your blush upwards on your cheeks. What's the difference between these 2 techniques in applying blush?
Technique 1 should be the blush
Technique 2 should be the contour.
Contour is done with a bronzer or brownish shade.
This gives you that chiseled appearance of gorgeous cheek bones.
A little highlighter on the very top of your apple will enhance it further. What's the difference between these 2 techniques in applying blush?
Technique no. 1 will give you a nice glow. This technique will be used if you really want to define your cheeks.
Technique no. 2 will just define your cheek bones. I normally use a bronzer for this one.
Technique 1 makes a circle of blush on your cheek, while number 2 defines your cheekbones!
Nothing really.. It just depends on how you want to apply the makeup, I guess.
Possibly technique 2 is for people with good cheek bones, while tech. 1 might be for people who don't have so great cheek bones.
But then again, it probably just depends on the person.
Because I have gotten my makeup done professionally many times, and both techniques have been used on me.

How do I look good with just powder and blush ?
Im just now being allowed to wear any make-up at all. Any tips or tricks on how to get the most out of just powder and blush? How do I look good with just powder and blush ?
First of all, make sure you cleanse your skin thoroughly. Then moisturise very well, and wait for it to be completely absorbed into you skin, so its dry. You must do this to get the besy out of whatever makeup you wear! You could also consider getting a foundation primer.
Then, apply the blush by smiling to find the apple of your cheeks (they will be the bits that go up into circles) and swirl it in, then sweep in a line from your cheeks to your ear. With powder, you will want a good, translucent powder that will hold well and look natural. Use a large brush to sweep it all over. The good thing about powder is you can re apply it throughout the day, and it will still look good. Hope that helps you!How do I look good with just powder and blush ?

The trick lies in choosing the right blush color and learning how to apply blush correctly. But often blush remains the most misused makeup cosmetic. When it comes to applying your blush, less is best. Learn simple tips and tricks to get the blush just right!
How to Apply Blush
Determine your face shape before applying blush. Concentrate blush on the center of the face for high cheekbones. A rounder fuller face looks good with dusty pink or rose blush at the outside of the face near the hairline. Smile into the mirror to find out the 'apple spot' on your cheek. Apply blush from this spot to your hairline, taking care to blend well. There shouldn't be an obvious patch or line of color on the cheeks. Sweep powder blushes in one direction always. Always tap off excess powder blush before applying it on the cheeks. A dot of cream blush applied on the apples of the cheeks must be worked upon to blend with the hairline. A hint of shimmering blush on the highest point of your cheeks can add a hint of drama.
Choosing a quality blush brush is the first step towards the right application. . Find a blush brush that is the size of the apple of your cheek for a perfect application. A full round blush brush can give a professional look to your blush makeup. A bigger brush gives better results - one with a dome-shaped head and generous fibers. For perfect blending or precise outlines, use a good set of makeup brushes for applying blush. Compact size blush brushes are too small and the bristles are not shaped properly. Do not use the same brush that is used for applying loose powder.
How to apply blush for round faces - Give an illusion of slenderness by applying blush in a sideways V on the cheekbones. Blend it well and add a bit to the chin.
How to apply blush for square faces - Soften the square angles of the face with dab of blush on the forehead and chin. Apply blush from the center of the eyes towards the cheekbones and blend.
How to apply blush for rectangular faces - Apply blush below the outer corners of the eyes so as to reduce the elongated square shape.
How to apply blush for oval faces - Apply blush to the prominent part of the cheekbone and blend towards the temples.
Blush Color
Choose blush to suit the occasion and the time of the day. What goes well for a dramatic evening can be over the top for office wear. For day wear, choose a lighter color than you would at night. Opt for pink shades in winter while in summer opt for peachy, warm hues. Soft natural pinks, beige and peach are ideal for a bright day. Pinch for cheeks for a second or two and check your blush color. A blush shade that mimics your natural coloring will avoid an artificial and comical look. Keep your blush color in the same palette as your lipstick shade. Check out shades of blush in natural lighting. Discard old blush shades from your makeup box. Combine shades to come up with new ones - best suited for your skin tone.

shimmer powder.. or use a good lotion underneath your make up and get a ';glowing'; make up.. that should help you get the effect.
if you want your face to glow, use bronzer. for blush, use a dark neutral shade depending on your skin tone and apply it UNDER your cheekbones. if you don't know where that is, suck in your cheeks and then brush it on underneath. don't go too heavy though, or it will look weird.
Apply 2-3 stokes on the apples of the cheeks
Make sure that you have a good big brush. Dont use too much. You might want to sweep bronzer against your cheeks instead of blush. You can even but bronzer on top of your cheeks for that extra glow. Just swipe on your apples quiclky.

if you want your face to glow, use bronzer. for blush, use a dark neutral shade depending on your skin tone and apply it UNDER your cheekbones. if you don't know where that is, suck in your cheeks and then brush it on underneath. don't go too heavy though, or it will look weird.
