Who do you think makes the best concealer and blush?

I have NYC right now, which isn't really to my liking. I was wondering what your opinion on this was, and which brand of makeup is the best to conceal red blemishes. Also which blush goes on the best and stays on. What's your opinion?Who do you think makes the best concealer and blush?
Clinique would solve all your problems! There is a concealer called ';Advanced Concealer'; This is a camouflaged concealer it can hide ANYTHING! Oil free so it will not clog pores nor will it irritate the skin. Its allergies tested and 100% fragrance free.Very safe to use, its about $13.50 but the tube will last you at least 9 months, because you just use a little bit. Its lasted me FOREVER! You know I just went it asking for a concealer and they tried it on me with out even charging. Clinique is all complementary!

As for blush, it depends on our skin type...if your oily or dry. If oily or just fill good in your skin they have great powder blushes that have oil absorbing formulas that help the blush stay on all day! If dry there is really great moisturizing tube blushes that feel and look great!Who do you think makes the best concealer and blush?
I wont say that one brand is better than the other, all brands have great products. If your are looking to conceal red blemishes you probably want something that is a little bit heavier, so I would suggest a creme based concealer, I don't know what your price range is but I like to use, MAC select cover when I am on set also to take the red out you may want to use a green colored concealer with your concealer. Also one of my favorites, which will give you alot of coverage is Kroylan concealer, this is what I currently have in my kit. http://www.kryolan.com/Camouflage/produc鈥?/a>

Blush I would suggest if you want it to be long wearing, apply a creme blush first then add a powder on top.
The best concealer I have found so far for me is intensive concealer from everyday minerals. I have tried stick and cream concealers but to me it always just makes this sheer layer that you can see through or you have to apply it so thick that it's obvious you're covering something.

They have a large variety of concealers, all with descriptions. The mint color is specifically for covering red blemishes but I haven't tried this one, I have only tried the intensive in medium. You just need to use a concealer brush to apply it. I like it a lot better than using bare minerals as concealer.

I also like both bare minerals and everyday minerals for blushes. I have tried various drug store and also recently e.l.f. blushes and I just don't like the way those traditional blushes look, especially on me. I like the shimmer of the mineral blushes, but everyday minerals also makes matte ones. I do like e.l.f's all over face stick in toasted and have used that as a blush/bronzer on my cheeks twice in toasted, I have medium skin and black hair. But I won't be doing that often because it's a cream and I'm acne prone.
for concealer i would choose Sonia Kachuk becuz its creamy anad glides on to your skin easily and covers blemishes well without the over price

for a blush i like NARS it worth the money

I have hazel eyes and medium brown hair and tan skin, what eye makeup and blush colors should i use?

I just want to know what eyeliner, eyeshadow, and blush colors would work with my eyes, complexion and hair. Thanks for helping!I have hazel eyes and medium brown hair and tan skin, what eye makeup and blush colors should i use?
use chocolate brown eyeliner and mascara and def. a smokey grey eyeshadow or deep purple would look good on you, it is what my friend wears and she has the same features.I have hazel eyes and medium brown hair and tan skin, what eye makeup and blush colors should i use?
light browns, silvers, grays and purple look good. i like black eyeliner and mascera, but if you want a softer look, try dark purple eyeliner, goes really good with hazel and green eyes, and black mascera. i like the revlon blush compacts or the physicians formula bronzer compact, in light brown or pinks.
I also have hazel eyes, medium brown hair, and tan skin. For eyeliner you should use black eyeliner. For eyeshadow you should use gold, brown, and yellow eyeshadow. For blush use pink or red blush.

  • What MAC blush would you recommend for me?

I know I could just ask one of their staff to assist me but I wanted to see what your opinions are too. I have fair Asian skin with yellow undertones. I'm normally a NC20. Have you tried MAC's blushers? What do you use? What MAC blush would you recommend for me?
Yes, LadyBlush is amazing! It's a creme blush and works very well. I think it would go good with your skin color. What MAC blush would you recommend for me?
The must have MAC blush is Dollymix.

Do not be thrown off by the brightness of it. Apply a tiny tiny bit... but it's the MAC blush staple.

I'm NC40 and wear it. It's extremely universal, but use a light hand. I recommend using a MAC 187. This brush can be used for foundation as well. The 187 will give a very natural coverage.

How do I know which shade of blush is perfect for me?

I'm currently using a peach-pink shade, which I'm very happy with, yet I want to go for something that isn't as transparent, so to define my cheeks better. But I really need help with what shade to buy next. I don't want to mess up!

I have light-colored skin with yellow undertones, and dark hair and eyes. I sunburn very quickly. I have soft features (think mila jovovich baby-face.)

Please help! How do I know which shade of blush is perfect for me?
A shade that closely resembles your natural blush tends to be most flattering, because the blush application won't look fake or obvious.

Take a look at your cheek color after a workout, for example, for an idea of what your natural blush color is. =]How do I know which shade of blush is perfect for me?
try like a medium skin tone type of color for blush... if you know what i mean by that.. sorry i don't know how describe it

What shades of eyeshadow, lipgloss, and blush look good on me?

I have brown hair with some blonde highlights. I have hazel eyes and am fair. When I go shopping for makeup, which shades should I choose in eyeshadow, blush, and lipgloss? What shades of eyeshadow, lipgloss, and blush look good on me?
I am struggling with the same questions. My coloring is like yours. I find that browns or deep purples work pretty well for eye shadow and I go back and forth between dark brown and black eye shadows. I usually end up preferring 'plum' type of lipsticks, but I tried a new one today -- kind of a frosty neutral. Don't know if I looked good in it or not. Good luck. Styles are always changing! What shades of eyeshadow, lipgloss, and blush look good on me?
For the eyes you should by browns or light greens, blush rosy pink, lips you can get clear a light pink some where around these colors and get the jelly gloss. It is the best kind of lip gloss i have found yet and burt bees is also great.
hey i think u should try what i say cuase i have same hair eyes and colour as you have. i wear golden and purple eyeshadows most which highlight my eye colours very correctly.i will give you some super detail............ i use forest green liner. with golden eye shadow.and forest green mascara.i use plum liner with purple or pink shadow with black mascara. i use black liner with golden shadow and black or brown mascara. but if these are pretty costly for you you can totally rock with golden shadow black liner and brown mascara combination. i use the very same combinations and everyone notices my eyes and say they are beautiful ......... for lipglsss i use brown with goldish combination ...........maroon with plumish combination....................and only green glitter with the greenish combination..............as far as blush is concerned i use it very lightly................pink with the plumish combination.,...........................鈥?brown and goldish mixed colour with goldish combination ...................and with the green combintion i use brown but blush very LIGHT very LIGHT...
For your eyes use brown, grey, pink, or black eyeshadow from Clinique or Mac. To enhance your skin tone you can use pastel colors on your eyes or pinks and blue based shadows. Use pink blush from Clinique or Maybelline Matte Mousse blush in Whipped Strawberries. Lancome Juicy Tubes are the best lipglosses and so are Mac lipglosses.
you should wear green eye shadow to bring out the green in your eyes.

blush should be a rosy pink (not that red)

    and a sheer pink gloss

you should also look up picture of celebs that look like you and take make-up hints from them
Different people look different so they look good in different colors. Some people even look good with out any makeup! Since I don't know what type of person you are, then I don't know what looks good on you....sorry. Take Care tho. And I hope you find the perfect color that suites you.
rosy pink blush with a golden tint

Read: Seventeen Magazine for make up tips
A must have is shimmer, tru to choose a light shimmer that you can dust over your eyelids and upper cheekbones. With your colouring i dont think you'll need a blush, just use the shimmer on your cheekbones to give you a natural shine. Hazel eyes...you go for a contrast colour such as green or plums. these shades will empahsize your eyecolour. try using a dark brown eyeshadow to contour your brow bone. For your lips go for a nice peach lipgloss and a darker lipstick. Experment with reds if you dare--they're very hot. totally invest in a good foundation though....makeup will also look horrible if you dont have good skin. Hope this helped!
It would be easier with a picture.
any kind of eye shadow you can use but only use the light kind of eye shadow.for the lip gloss wear lite clear shiny lip gloss.and for the blush use natural White or pink color or just tap a little red of blush and then you are perfect.(GOOD LUCK)
for lip gloss u should pick some light brown colour or light pink for ur lips, for eye shadow....green,black.brown,pink and purple but they should be lighter and for some blush its always light brown and pink....u will look gorgous in theses colours, believe me!
i would try a beige or brown eyeshadow, a light pinkish or browny lip gloss (shimmery) and a coral blush.
You sound like you have warm coloring, most likely your an autumn like myself.

---For your hazel eyes you should wear gold, bronze, copper, or khaki colored eyeshadows.

--------Plums will look muddy on your skintone.

---For your fair skin, warm it up with pinky-peachy colored blush, or another look you can do is buying a light pigmented bronzer, and applying it to you cheekbones, bridge of your nose, chin, forehead (go light on chin and forehead).

---For your lips you should chose a gloss that will compliment your fair skin. Colors such as corals, peaches, and golds are beautiful, and will enhance your beautiful hazel eyes.
I think light browns or pale greens for your eyeshadow choice, a pale pink for blush, and pink or coral color for lips.

Mac Blushes are pretty good, along with NARS blushes. I heard that the 187 Mac brush was pretty good for blush application, but it's way too expensive for me so I use one from Inglot for contouring.

    Answer mine please.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>What is a good brand of blush as well as brush to go along with it?
Everything from MAC is just about good, lol. Cheaper end, though, CVS's Essence of Beauty is good, along with Long's Brandon brand, both for brushes. Milani is a drugstore brand that has a very good pigment and looks great.
    MAC
mark.'s Good Glowing brushes are really great. They are just $6, and you can pick out a custom snap to it pallette to stick them in as well. If you buy the medium (holds 2 blushes) or the large (holds 4 blushes) case, it comes with a brush to apply the blush. Or you can buy their Blush %26amp; Bronzer brush which is really popular for $6.
