Have you used Maybeline Airwhip blush before?
Was the effect subtle or dramatic, and do you prefer it over regular powder blush? What do you think of Maybeline Air whip Blush?
I prefer powders all around. They feel lighter on the skin and have a lower propensity to clog the pores than anything ';wet'; or cream based. What do you think of Maybeline Air whip Blush?
I love it! I think it works great!
Honestly, in my opinion I don't even try that type of make up, because I find that for paying a tad bit more I can get more quality in a blush...The best blush I have used is 'Warmth' by BareEscentuals Bare Minerals line...best byfar, the most natural looking, and the most long lasting effect, that just made your skin look like it was NATURALLY glowing, not like it had blush on.
But if you like it, go for it.

What is the difference~~Beauty powder and Blush?
I was looking at MAC's Hello Kitty stuff and I am confused.
What is the difference between the beauty powder and blush?
And how do you use it?What is the difference~~Beauty powder and Blush?
so with the powder, you know how you apply your foundation?
you use the powder all over your face with a bug fluffy brush to set the foundation so it doesn't go anywhere
the blush is simply used to add some colour to your faceWhat is the difference~~Beauty powder and Blush?
I used to have the exact same question. MAC has this ';Live Chat'; feature, where you can chat live with a studio makeup artist. About a month ago, I asked her the same question, and this is what she said. They emailed me a transcript of the chat, luckily, so I can tell you what she said!
Beauty Powder is an ultra lightweight, silky pressed face powder. The powder has been jet-milled to deliver a smooth, sheer deposit of colour that subtly brightens your complexion. You can dust Beauty Powder over your skin with the #187 brush.
Mineralize Blush is a baked, formed powder blush that delivers a sheer, luminous, pearlized finish. The lightweight formula glides onto the skin and the super-fine pearlized pigments add a soft lumious glow to the skin.
Our other blushes are not produced this way and do not have the high pearl shimmer the Mineralize Blushes have.
Basically, you can use blush with any blush brush. All in all, blush will just give you more color, rather than making you look more luminous like a beauty powder.
You can use your beauty powder as a blush, it doesn't really matter because beauty powder is available in shades blush isn't, and vice versa. Whatever you feel like doing!

Why do guys blush when they were introduced to girls?
There's this guy from another class that my Professor Susan teaches. When she quickly introduced him to me in her office where we both were waiting to talk to her, his face suddenly turned so red! Why? Did he feel unexpected or unconfident?
Worse of all, he quickly escaped from the scene. Why?

Is Franzia Sunset Blush a good wine?
I have a 3 liter box of it with the Smart Tap...I'd like to know others opinions on it.Is Franzia Sunset Blush a good wine?
I drink wine from a box on occasion and I have to tell ya that Franzia Sunset Blush is not one of my favorites. If you are buying box'owine try the Almaden White Zinfandel it is a lot nicer. Is Franzia Sunset Blush a good wine?
Well unlike Boogey I have had good (IMO good) boxed wine. Although I can't say specifically if the Sunset Blush is any good Franzia in my experience has not been a brand often associated with ';good'; so my guess is that it probably sucks.
Wine in a box being a good wine? You can't possibly be serious.
Depending on your taste, it can be very good. On most occasions, serve cold with some cheese or burgers. Enjoy!
Your taste is not that of a sommelier or a snob and don't take advice from either

How do you make your own cream blush?
I want to make some cream blush but I don't know how. I have some powder blush but that's all. And I want it to be shimmery, kinda like a highlighter. How do I make it??
ThanksHow do you make your own cream blush?
Things You'll Need:
Powdered blush(es) and/or eye shadow(s)
Small blush brush
Small container with tight fitting lid
Illuminating powder (optional)
Facial moisturizer
Toothpick
Step 1
Choose your favorite powdered blush. Use multiple colors of blush or eye shadow to create your own perfect blend.
Step 2
Use a small blush brush to sweep the top of the makeup, dusting the powder into a small container with a tight-fitting lid. Add about 1 tsp. of powder or powder blends to the jar. Mix multiple colors thoroughly to get a good idea of your final cream blush color.
Step 3
Add 1/2 tsp. of illuminating powder to the jar if you like. Illuminating powder will help to highlight your cheeks and give them a healthy glow.
Step 4
Measure 1 Tbsp. of your favorite facial moisturizer or cream to the powdered mix and stir completely with a toothpick. Apply only a small amount of your cream blush at a time, as it tends to go on a bit darker than powder.myspace songs

hiii..i've just the perfect answer for you..check http://kireimakeup.com/2008/10/09/highli鈥?/a> to learn how to apply and where to apply your blush and highlighter. =)..hope this helps
Pale skin tends to look painted on when you use bright pink blush. It's good for when you're feeling a little girly and want to appear made up, but you have fantastic cheekbones and it's only proper that you show them off to the best of their advantage.
Instead of getting a blush set in shades of pink, get them in a tawny shade. A blush duo in tawny would be good. Brush the lighter shade right on top of your cheekbones, sweeping across them towards your ears. The darker shade should be applied right under them, sweeping downwards and just barely covering the apples of your cheeks.Blend well in swirling strokes, so you don't get a harsh line between colors and mess up your look.
For a more no frills approach, spread some highlighting cream on your cheekbones. The light catches them, making them stand out and the shadows in the hollows of your cheekbones will appear deeper and contour out the face.
Good luck!
Thanx in advance! How to apply blush and contour you face?
A. It depends on the look you are going for.
B. What look are you going for?
C. Get some good quality brushes. It makes a huge difference.
D. Its hard to suggest something with out seeing your skin/style/undertone/face shape/features/etc..
E. I would visit neiman marcus, sephora or saks and get your hand dirty
www.neimanmarcus.com
www.saks.comHow to apply blush and contour you face?
in my oipinion,i think the orange-ish ( not so orange you know) is the best blush color ffor you...
there are so many ways to apply blush, but the most popular is
+ on the apple of your cheeks, but remember to blend it to the ears. ( dont use too much blush)
p.s : i recommend you to check out youtube.com and search something like ';apply blush'; , ... u sure will find what you want. and they do it in real actions so you can easily follow.

Should I use blush if I am using warmth by bare minerals?
I just started using the bare minerals foundation, warmth, and veil. I was wondering if the warmth is intended to replace blush or should I continue to use blush along with the warmth? By the way I LOVE these products.Should I use blush if I am using warmth by bare minerals?
Warmth is more of a bronzer. You can use blush in the apples of the cheeks if you want and sweep the warmth up towards your temples and blend them. It's a good way to incorporate both :DShould I use blush if I am using warmth by bare minerals?
You can also use blush, warmth is almost a bronzor, it livens up skin, nearly tans it, in a way.. it gives warmth, blush is cooler in color, so it will cool the face and accent it differently.
Nope. By the way personally I hate blush. No one can ever make it look natural.
I don't use the blush after warmth. I do only when it's a shimmery or glittery base...It's nice for dinner. :-)

Has anyone tried the new skin treatment 'Rio Blush/ Carboxy therapy ', does it work?
I'm due to have the new skin treatment for lines and wrinkles on my face in Jan. Apparently it works by injecting carbon dioxide just under the surface of the skin. I've read it works for strech marks and wanted to know if anyone had tried it for lines and wrinkles.Has anyone tried the new skin treatment 'Rio Blush/ Carboxy therapy ', does it work?

What brand sells a really nice peach blush?
I don't plan to buy anything extremely expensive, so I guess my price range is from $5.00 - $17.00, or around there.
I can't find a nice peachy color that works. I live in Canada. Can anyone help? :)What brand sells a really nice peach blush?

They have a big color rage. I like their peach blush in Fun %26amp; Games. It's from the Hello Kitty collection but it could be unavailable by now. But Peachykeen is also a really nice peachy color or Pinch O Peach :)

What are some good tips for applying blush that make your cheekbones look more defined and your face thinner?
take an angled blush brush and swirl it into some bronzer. suck your cheeks in and apply it to the part that is sucked in. then take a fluffy blush brush and swirl it into some blush. dmile and then apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks. blend the 2 and voila!
you can also use some products made specifically for contouring, but it's a bit harder for me to explain rather than show you.
you can go to a cosmetic counter at the mall and they will show you the proper techniques and products to use to create the look you are going for! What are some good tips for applying blush that make your cheekbones look more defined and your face thinner?

Squeeze the blusher applicator on it's hair stuff and suck your cheeks in and apply on cheekbones
blush cannot shape the face. blush, by definition, is colorful and draws attention to itself.
you want a neutral flesh toned makeup, powder or cream, that is slightly darker than your skintone. press your fingers into your cheeks so that you can feel the depression under the cheekbone. apply the darker color there, fading up towards the ear and downwards toward the mouth. there should be no hard edges.
some people with broad faces benefit from a little shading at the temples as well.
look for ';The Art of Makeup'; by Kevyn Aucoin or ';Designing Your Face'; by Way Bandy at your local library. Makeup is not easy to do, contrary to what the makeup companies tell you, and you will have to practice practice practice.
the face is also altered by change in hairstyle and shape of eyebrows. overly thinned brows or round shaped brows will exaggerate a round face.
most importantly, learn to appreciate YOUR face. be happy with what you have.
Using a duel blush set, use the darker color under the cheekbone, and apply the lighter color directly on the cheekbone. Apply lightly and don't forget to blend!
to define the cheekbones, u must use a sculpting brush and sweep upwards.

I want to start using concealer and blush, but I'm scared I'm going to get pimples. Any suggestions?
Concealer is supposed to hide blemishes, but it is also known to make your skin have more acne because it blocks the pours. I don't want pimples but I want to hide the ugly stuff on my skin too. Any suggestions besides those expensive stuff? Nothing over $7 I'm cheap :PI want to start using concealer and blush, but I'm scared I'm going to get pimples. Any suggestions?
try almay concealer, it is oil-free(wont cause breake outs), non-comedogenic(wont clog pores), and its hypo-allergenic..plus, it covers well. you can buy it at any drug store or something.(:
oh! i forgot, it also has salicylic acid so it heals pimples as it covers(:I want to start using concealer and blush, but I'm scared I'm going to get pimples. Any suggestions?
Hello there. There are cosmetics that are noncomedogenic.
Noncomedogenic is a term applied to oils, lotions, and skin creams that do not block pores. Noncomedogenic products are also sometimes referred to as non-occlusive. The theory behind using lotions that are noncomedogenic is that by not blocking pores, they will reduce the incidence of pimples.
Check the package, it'll tell you whether or not this is the case with the make-up you pick out. It's available in all price ranges.
Listen...
the ONLY make up i wear is concealer and blush, and the reason why i'm laughing is because i don't have acne at all. the only time i get a pimple or two is a week before my period, and that's because of hormones! lol and i'm a 16 year old!
it may be just my skin type, but really just because you wear a type of make up doesn't guarantee you'll get acne.
if anything, i'd be more scared of foundation!
don't worry! concealer and blush are fine. i use covergirl fresh look concealer, i think it's around 6 dollars, but the blush i use is by MAC and it's about 15 dollars (it's a nicer make up store).
gooooood luck! %26lt;3
Just when applying it use a clean brush or clean sponge.
then you shouldn't get pimples.
if you do,its the brand your using.
But yeah, anyway if your in your teens you gonna get them anyway. I use high quality make up and clean brushes and I always have pimples. thats life.
You should try the covergirl clean foundation. It is light, and cheap. I use is everyday, and I never get pimples. I use the oil free one just to make sure I won't get acne. It is usually only about $4 at ulta.

hun no matter what, u ARE going to get pimples, im sorry to say, its very RARE if u don't get one at all... so u go right ahead and use any kind of concealer! i would use neutrogina cuz i would trust them the most out of acne stuff! best of luck-KK

Is it normal for men to blush when faced with a sexual event?
I am 14Is it normal for men to blush when faced with a sexual event?
so so so so so normal
:)
im 14 too. and all guys ive bin with or around blush at the slightest hint of sexual-ness (haha)
so yes, very normal. Is it normal for men to blush when faced with a sexual event?
No as your organ will require all available blood in your circulatory system and there will not be any excess for blushing...
ya , your still a kid, and you should n't be even thinking about sex,
Yes, I do all the time
yeah, its normal, im 14 and one of my friends that is a girl (shes funny, and a bit rough) we were joking around saying things and she grabbed by face with both hands (like when people kiss) and I couldnt stop smiling (idk why) and apparently I blushed. It also happened when a girl i kinda liked hugged me. Its normal.
Some men have a tendency to blush about many things.
YEP, NORMAL...ITS JUST THE BLOOD RUSHING TO YOUR SKINS SURFACE IN TIME OF AN EMOTIONAL CHANGE....WHETHER THAT EMOTIONAL CHANGE BE EMBARASSMNET.AROUSAL..ANGER...ETC.DONT WORRY I KNOW MEN WAY OLDER THAN YOU AND THEY STILL BLUSH AT CERTAIN THINGS..
so so so so so normal

yeah, its normal, im 14 and one of my friends that is a girl (shes funny, and a bit rough) we were joking around saying things and she grabbed by face with both hands (like when people kiss) and I couldnt stop smiling (idk why) and apparently I blushed.
How to choose the right color blush for me?
im a bit on the tan side not too dark or too light im like a medium. i was wondering how do i know which blush color is perfect for me. i have a pinkish one and a pinkish brown but i have no clue which color is right for me.
what type of blush should i wear with dark shadows like: purple,or black
and what blush for: browns, golds, pinks, silver. How to choose the right color blush for me?
pinch your cheeks and see what color your skin naturally flushes...and pick a color that is the closest to that color as you can get! and for a more dramatic, evening look...pick that same color that's a little more shimmery or bronze-ish lookingHow to choose the right color blush for me?
any kind of pink blush is fine with all of those, see you don't want to match your blush to your eyeshadow, what you want to do is make the blush look as natural as possible, if you have tan skin what you should do is get not too light of a pink blush maybe a little brighter of a color or a tanish color both of them would look good.curly hair

Whats the difference between the look of a powder brush and a blush brush?
I bought a powder brush and a blush brush. How can I tell them apart?Whats the difference between the look of a powder brush and a blush brush?
A powder brush should typically be biggerWhats the difference between the look of a powder brush and a blush brush?
I've found that the best brush to use for blush is an angled blush brush. It goes on much smoother and blends better for me. You can always tell that one apart from the rest. You can get them for a decent price at Sally's beauty supply.

How often should I change my make up such as mascara and blush and eye liner? When should I throw out my make ?
When does make up get old?How often should I change my make up such as mascara and blush and eye liner? When should I throw out my make ?
Mascara throw out after 6 months, I toss mine after 3 if I somehow don't use it by then, as it can get dry.
Powder blush toss after a year, liquid or cream blush toss after 9 months and mineral powder blush you can hold onto for about 18 months.
Eyeliner sticks or pencils need to go after 6 months, powder can last up to a year, liquid needs to go after 6.
Anything that is liquid can go rancid as well as get contaminated with Bacteria. Anything that you put near you eye needs to be kept clean and replaced often, as eye's can be sensitive and infections can be painful and lead to vision problems.
For foundation and concealer, I toss liquids after 6 months, If it's powder I will keep it a little longer, but again most people will have used it all by then. How often should I change my make up such as mascara and blush and eye liner? When should I throw out my make ?
You should 'run out' before you have to 'throw out.' Actually, every three of four days you should change one of the 3 to a tone lighter or darker and see who notices. You should even chart it for your own info. It will also teach you how to accent your eye color and focus attention to where you want it to be. 8~)
never keep eye makeup for more then 3 months.
the ingredients start to turn(mold because of the air) and may cause infection
for blush, foundation... i believe if its a good make; it can last until you finish it.
watch out of expiry dates
Mascara is only good for two to four months. A good way to find out if your mascara is old is if it dries out and the smell changes.
Blush lasts two years before it is considered old but I would recommend changing it
mascara- 3 months
blush, powder, eye shadow-1 year
eyeliner-6 months

How can I choose a blush that will suit me?
Ive natural blondish hair, brown eyes, fair skin.
What colour/s would suit me. I have no idea what blush to useHow can I choose a blush that will suit me?
any tonal colours.. dont do any pinks this will make u look too pale and clash with ur blonde hair...
u need to add warmth with ur skin tone so use a light sweep of bronzer in the hollows of ur cheek bones and then on the apples use peachy/ tonal blush then blend out to ur cheek bones.. then use a highlighter over blush and cheekbone! How can I choose a blush that will suit me?
One beauty product that suits a lot of skin tones is NARS blush in ';Orgasm'; Creepy name, great product! So many makeup artists, beauty editors, models and celebrities swear by it and apparently it suits almost any skin tone, so it sound like the one to try! If you do see it, it has scary-looking bright pink tones, but it's very flattering. Give it a go, it could be perfect for you!
The best way to find out is to go to a makeup counter %26amp; try them on. That way you can actually see for youself if they will look good on you. and the person working their can give you some good ideas,as well.
id say a light pink =)
try the almay smartshade blush it will know what color is good for you ! (:
ok i heard that to find ur true blush shade to look at the color of your inner lip
a rose blush or a nice mild bronzer
use some bronzer and lightly brush it over your cheeks that will look great :D

How do I get Blush-makeup off my carpet?
I accidently dropped my blush (you know makeup) on my carpet which is a tan-brownish color. Now my carpet is all pink/peach. Any ideas on how I can get it off??How do I get Blush-makeup off my carpet?
well if its just blush you might be able to get it off with a damp washcloth using warm water. (but you really have to scrub!)
also a good method is using nail-polish remover. (dont worry-it wont harm your carpet)
that's what works best for me.
good luck! hope it comes out!How do I get Blush-makeup off my carpet?
vacuum over it a few times then use resolve but I would vacuum it a few time be fore i used that.
well yeah vacum over it and then i would use an all purpose cleaner(u can get them at target) and spray it on the spot where you dropped it and wait about a minute or 2 for it to soak in and get a paper towel and wipe it away
I second that! Vacuum several times, and use Resolve.

Why do i blush whenever i have to talk to strangers?
Ive always been very shy and im not used to talking to strangers, how can i change this? Why do i blush whenever i have to talk to strangers?
The only real way I can think is to put yourself into social situations. I understand. It's hard to do. But if you really want to get over it you gotta do it! Start small. Y'know, like introduce yourself to a random person or take public transportation. Just do something that involves lots of other people.
It may be a phase, though. Depending how old you are. I find the older one gets, the less shy they get as well.

Why does Tiger Woods use language that would make the devil blush on the golf course?
I read that he dropped a few F-bombs as well as cursed a photographer with the F-word during a televised tournament. I don't hear any of the other top players doing this. Why does Tiger Woods use language that would make the devil blush on the golf course?
Because he can do it and get away with it. Not that I agree with that, but the PGA Tour and all of it's sponsors need Tiger more than he needs them. That's a stone cold fact.
I played with a 17 year old this weekend that slammed his driver into the ground after every bad swing. I'm not saying that Tiger is to blame for that, but he's not exactly leading the way on proper etiquette. Discussing some of TIger's antics with my 7 year old is getting difficult. Why does Tiger Woods use language that would make the devil blush on the golf course?
Tiger is arguable the greatest player to ever tee it up. He's done more for golf than any other pro for decades. The other side of the coin is that golf has given him riches beyond even the ordinary mere mortals wildest dreams.
Tiger needs to understand that he's a huge influence on the game and bad conduct and language will receive far more attention (and imitation) than from other pros. He owes it to the game to conduct himself professionally at all times, even when things are going poorly.
tiger acts that way beacause hes tiger. thats what he does. hes an extremely focused and emotionally player and the actions he does(ex. cursing, throwing/slamming clubs, fist pumping, ect.) show that. its been said that he actually hypnotises himself before a round so that he focused on nothing but golf and the shot he is on. who knows, he might not even be aware that there are millions of people watching his every move on the golf course. thats why tiger acts that way on the golf course.
funny golf saying:
In the old days, when people went out and cursed and beat the earth with sticks, it was called WITCHCRAFT. Today its called...
GOLF.
he plays with a lot of passion and emotion. the negative emotions come with cursing and slamming clubs. tiger is one of the highest fined players on tour for cursing on camera. this is probably also because they show him a lot more than anyone else so he will be caught on tv more, which makes the point that he is almost single-handedly the entire sport of golf. his emotion shows when he sinks a clutch putt with a big fist pump, the other side of that is cursing and slamming. all i can say is he's TIGER WOODS.
ashkii is right. I don't understand the second guessing of Tiger. Everyone freely admits he plays a different game than anyone else. Then why do people expect him to act like everyone else. Things are different for him. His thought process is different than us. So when he lets a bomb drop, we can, as mere mortals, never can understand what he feels. Logically. I don't like the attitude that much either, but me saying ';he shouldn't do that';, is like me saying Richard Petty shouldn't go so fast.
Because the amount of work he puts in, its frustrating to make mistakes like pushing a ball about 90 yards offline. There would be a problem if he was an average twenty handicapper, its like he told some celebrity douchebag who did that at a pro am, you're not good enough to get mad.
For the same reason he pumps his fists when he makes a dramatic putt. Because he plays with such strong emotion. But nobody berates him for the fist pumping...only the F-bombs.
Thats the gangsta part of him poppin out every now and then yo!
He was probably all pissed off like he was at the British Open... Ya know he duffed a pitching wedge there right? aha

How to not blush around people?
I blush a lot at like the smallest things! Its so annoying!! Does anything help to make it quit? How to not blush around people?
You have to start being able to laugh at yourself. See, now, when someone says something that you find intimidating, you blush while they laugh. Instead, laugh with them. Being able to laugh at yourself is one of the best qualities a person can have AND as long as you learn to laugh a true laugh, not a forced one, the blushing will stop:)How to not blush around people?
Why would you want to get rid of something that's as natural as breathing?
It's an endearing trait and I would think others would find it so too.
Now I assume you're a guy, but speaking for myself, a heterosexual male, there's nothing more alluring as a beautiful woman who is open and honest enough to blush when the situation calls for it.
If I offer a well-deserved compliment to a woman (and you know who you are), and the result is a true, unaffected, genuine, modest, spontaneous, natural blush..
Well, let's just say that particular woman has me for life.
I mean, if it's such an unwanted trait, why then do women apply artificial blush as make-up?
Now if you are a guy, I would think the same applies to women, but I wouldn't know for sure.
You'd have to ask women if they feel the same way..
Without being weird in saying this, I think you may have social anxiety disorder.
Read up on it. I have it, you will most likely recognise a lot of symptoms.
-Going red
-Facial sweats
-Stutter
-Dizzy spells
-Feel like people are judging you
-Rehearse a situation before going into it
I find the only time I blush is when I am around a man I like. That is a sure way for him to know and I can't not do it. It makes me crazy.
u gotta like get rele deep in ur head like dnt think about blushing or expecting urself to blush cuz than u will

Is there any real difference between the bare minerals all over face color and their blush?
Looking at the colors, it seems it's the same thing, but marketed differently. I use the all over face color as a blush and it works well. Has anyone tried the blush and is it any different? Is there any real difference between the bare minerals all over face color and their blush?
Hun theres no difference at all The only difference is the way you apply it you can get some of the worst make-up in the world and if you know what your doing you can make it look like a million dollars so you just gotta learn the trick of the trades to have the best look for all make-ups

Does anyone know how to get that shiny looking blush that a lot of woman are wearing now a days?
I love the way cheeks look with this radiant looking blush. It makes your cheekbones POP!It looks so beautiful.Does anyone have this kind of blush? What kind of brand is it?Does anyone know how to get that shiny looking blush that a lot of woman are wearing now a days?
It might just be a shimmery bronzer applied over the blush.
Try asking someone next time you see them wearing it? Just like, ';I really like your blush! Where did you get it?'; Compliment the person and ask at the same time, you're more likely to get an answer that way.Does anyone know how to get that shiny looking blush that a lot of woman are wearing now a days?
That shiny blush is probably cheek stain which is blush in a gel form. My favorite is Tarte cheek stain, you can find it at Sephora. It's a bit expensive but I think some more reasonably priced brands are starting to make gel blush that you can get at stores like Target.
It's a cream formula (sometimes liquid). No particular brand, everyone makes it. Look for ones with shimmer.......... Beware: they don't last very long on your skin!
Bare essentials also has really nice color blushes with bronzer it in. If you do not have a bare essentials i know sephora carries this brand. Also, benefit has one called dallas that is great. It depends on your skin tone though, Dallas is for darker skin types.
There is a really pretty golden peachy pink color powder blush from Nars called Orgasm. It's actually very popular. You can get it from Sephora and Nordstrom.
There really is no such thing as shiny blush....
In ads, when people wear blush, it's normally cream bluch spread above their cheekbones, and then shimmery highlighter above the blush.....
but then again.... from far away it looks amazing and everything.
But if you were to see the girls in ads, it would be cakey maekup....
abnd dont wear blush with shimmery highlighter above it in daytime, it looks a little bit ridiculous.
Lemme know if you have any other questions.curly hair

Girls do you blush when a guy says something sweet to you?
Like when I tell you how beautiful and pretty all you girls are in your own each unique way and you all have a special quality about you.
And one more thing. Is it a good blush or a bad one? lol.Girls do you blush when a guy says something sweet to you?
**BLUSHES** LOL YOUR SUPER SWEET *BLOWS A KISS** LOLGirls do you blush when a guy says something sweet to you?
heck yes Report Abuse
of course!! its good if your doing it with respect !!
yes if you flatter us with your compliments!!
it is a good blush...like we are happy but don't really know what to say...
Blushing is most often a good thing...chances are its flattering and the girl doesn't know what to say back, or in my case, I'm really modest and I don't think I look good anyway so when someone says something nice it's more like an ';oh my gosh I can't believe someone complimented me'; kind of blush. Like a guy I had a crush on for the longest time was IMing me, and out of the blue he says ';you looked really nice today';...I could have died! I know I was blushing then, only he couldn't see it...
sometimes
yeah .. good blush
sometimes if a guy says something sweet i do blush (like today, a guy i know said to his friends in front of me, this chick has awesome reflexes, it got got a little shy but it was sort of funny). other times i don't blush when a guy says to me ';u have the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen';
Oh its good if a girl blushes! It means she is flattered!
Good Job! :)
Oh every girl likes to be flattered! :) And such a sweet comment like that will be sure to make them blush at what a nice thing you've said to them.
Um, well I am only 15, and 15 year old guys are pigs and they don't say nice things to girls, unless it is somewhere along the lines of, ';Hey, nice ***'; soooo... I wouldn't really know lol. But, if someone actually did, then yes I probably would blush.
I blush at pretty much everything, i find it so embarrassing. Though if i only blushed when a guy said something nice to me, then that would be a good blush. :)..Well unless it was a cringy thing they said!
I always look like i bathed in tomato soup.
i dont blush, but it is a nice thing to say... if they blush its a good one
I know I was blushing then, only he couldn't see it...
sometimes
yeah .. good blush
sometimes if a guy says something sweet i do blush (like today, a guy i know said to his friends in front of me, this chick has awesome reflexes, it got got a little shy but it was sort of funny). other times i don't blush when a guy says to me ';u have the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen';
Oh its good if a girl blushes! It means she is flattered!
Good Job! :)

What color of blush would be best for my skin tone?
I have pale porcelain skin, blue eyes, and strawberry blonde hair. I don't want to look ruddy but i want a subtle glow. Thanks! :]What color of blush would be best for my skin tone?
A soft seashell pink would be flattering on you. Apply it with a large makeup brush for the best results. Lightly sweep the brush over the blush and then tap it to remove the excess. Apply carefully. A little goes a long way when you have pale skin. If the blush seems too dark, you can tone it down a bit with loose powder. What color of blush would be best for my skin tone?
Since it sounds like you have really light skin. [correct me if mistaken]
-Avoid bronze' and everything dark toned because it will make your skin look grimy.
-Try light soft colors that would compliment your porcelain skin like pink.

What is it called when you blush/burn for an extended period of time, even long after initially blushing?
I'm sure it's not ';rosacea'; because there's no acne involved.
It's just red all over and slightly burning. Just enough to annoy me.What is it called when you blush/burn for an extended period of time, even long after initially blushing?
Rosacea, initially, does not involve acne. My rosacea began as symptoms just like you're describing and didn't progress to acne until I had had it for many years. A physician can prescribe a topical preparation to treat your symptoms. Please act now, or you may end up with scarring.

bronzer may look weird in the winter. id say go with blush. i suggest pink. get a blush brush and smile so the apples of ur cheeks are showing then apply in upward and outward strokes i.e. from apple of cheeks to towards the ear. start lightly u can build up colour if u wish its easier than overdoiong it and having to wipe off the whole lot.

Is it okay to use food coloring for blush?
Red food coloring mixed with a little baby powder or something used as blush for your cheeks. Is that safe to use for your face?Is it okay to use food coloring for blush?
No! Unless you want to do it for Halloween and look like a clown. No matter what you mix with it, it will look like red clown cheeks. When you make frosting and want the color red in the frosting, it only takes 3 drops to make a whole batch of frosting red. If you get food coloring on your skin, it will stain and be hard to get off the skin. Same thing if you put it into your hair. It won't wash out. Go to the dollar store and buy some blush if money is the concern here.Is it okay to use food coloring for blush?
no idea, if u do too much, it will stain your face though. ever had food coloring on ur hands or fingers? it stains and hard to remove, so if u do, be careful not to use a lot.
It sounds like it would stain your face.
It's much easier to apply, kinder to your skin, and better looking if you buy some blusher.
probably look OK but it might look weird after a while
try it and if it goes bad just use shop products that have actually been tested

What's the difference between Rose and Blush wines?
The difference is a lot.
About the only thing that the two have in common is that they are both made from red grapes and given a little bit of contact with the skins after pressing to give the wine that pink color.
Roses are not altered after that. They are usually dry and light bodied.
';Blush'; wines are usually chaptalized - which means that the producers add sugar to them to make them sweeter. White Zinfandel, for example, is not a rose, it is a blush wine.
Another way that blush wine is made is to take white wine and blend it with red wine. This belnding usually happens after both are fermented seperately. This wine can be chaptalized or not.
Generally speaking, anything with Rose on the label will be crisp, acidic, fruity and dry as a bone. White Zinfandel, White Merlot, etc. and any other pink wine that doesn't say ';rose'; is probably going to be sweet as Kool-Aid with just about as much sugar. What's the difference between Rose and Blush wines?
No difference. I'm positiv! What's the difference between Rose and Blush wines?
if i am not mistaken a blush is a lighter color wine and it is also sweeter than rose

What blush colors would look best on me?
I have gold ahsy blonde hair, teal blue eyes and fair skin. what blush colors would look best on me? whenever I try to wear a bronzer to warm up my fair skin, I look too 'monotoned'; because the bronzer blends in with my gold colored hair/ what blusher would you recommend? What blush colors would look best on me?
I think a light peach would be the best. It's neutral enough to go with anything and not too overpowering with your light complexion. What blush colors would look best on me?

yes definetley don't use bronzer it will make you look like you have a fake tan. try a peachy or coral color. people with goldish hair and blue eyes probably have fair skin just like you. the best colors would be peach or coral to make your skin blend and not stand out wayyyy to much.

A peach tone blush looks good on anyone. It brings a soft glow to the cheeks without it being to overpowering.
Try blushes with warmer rosy tones. Physician's Formula talc free mineral blush in blushing glow would look great, maybe even a color rosier would look good too!

Ok I had to read this twice, but we blush just like anyone else. If you are really dark they could mean by the way that u were smiling, like with a big grin. I am med brown and when I blush just like a white person my cheeks turn red. No different than anyone else.
Wow! Really? I mean I knew that we blush but how can anyone tell?!
your cheeks get puffy r something

Why do some people feel hot and blush when they are nervous while others feel cold and shaking ,faint?
why and how does our body response to it differenetly? Why do some people feel hot and blush when they are nervous while others feel cold and shaking ,faint?
I guess it might be somewhat mental...if you are confident in yourself and don't really care for what people think of you, then the shaking, faint and feeling cold could be a better than turning beet red..
but everyones built differently, so you can't say that for everyone.

How should i make my skin glow even if i use foundation and blush?
what can i use to make my skin glow after putting on foundation and blush. will the foundation make me glow or do i have to use something else to make it glow? How should i make my skin glow even if i use foundation and blush?
if you are very pale you can get a shimmering powder or blush, or use highliting cream close to your skin color or blush on the highest part of your brow, and cheek bones, as well as the bridge of your nose, but be careful dont overdo it or you will look oily! if you are more of a tan shade, bronzer does wonders. How should i make my skin glow even if i use foundation and blush?
u can also get a liquid shimmer/highighter and mix some with ur foundation before putting it on. u can buy powder highlighter in a compact and put some on with a blush brush on your cheeks and temple area.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

Have you tried the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Blush? What can you say about the product?
Maybe you could add your skin tone and the color of the blush you used/tried.Have you tried the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Blush? What can you say about the product?
I am very fair (lightest shade of alot of foundations) with cool undertones, I bought this at ulta a few mos ago when they had a revlon sale. I think I bought it in ';petal';, a dusty pink color. I opened it up and was excited because it was close to the color of one of my more expensive blushes. I rubbed my finger in it to see how the color payoff was- nothing showed up. I did it again- no color, on a slightly shimmery finger. The brush is horrible and for me this stuff had literally NO color pay off. I returned it 2 days later.
If you're looking for good cheap blushes I reccomend NYX- buy at Ulta or chaerryculture.com cheaper.Have you tried the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Blush? What can you say about the product?
I am fair-to-medium in skin tone, and I tried a really light rosy color. I gave it away to my mom cause it didn't look like much of anything on me. I guess the color was too light for me. But the texture of the blush was nice...and natural. I think I'll try another color!

What is a really good pink blush?
Nothing garish-looking. I just want something with a subtle glow that's good quality. I am also open to trying peach blush, but idk if it looks good on me or not. What is a really good pink blush?
People are suppose to be 'natural' pink cheeked.
So I suggest 503 Light Primrose by hf mineral makeup.
It subtle and the colour suits almost everyone.
Its pure crushed mineral blush and comes in a 10 gm sifter pot that should last about a year.
There bonus is that its cheap and has NO expiry date due to it being a pure dry mineral!
good luckWhat is a really good pink blush?
MAC has a nice selection of blushes. They also have a product called Mineralized skin finishes as well as Beauty Powders. They have such a GREAT shimmer to them as well as a nice sheer color to them. =]

What is a good foundation that blush sits well on?
My foundation seems sticky.. and when i apply powdered blush it looks streaky and unattractive. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good smooth foundation that goes well with blush. What is a good foundation that blush sits well on?
I swear by mineral makeup. As a beauty therapist myself and working with different ranges i have found the Ultraceuticals mineral compact powder to be really nice and long laster. and it also acts as a fantastic base for the ultraceuticals blush which i wear to work and it lasts from 8am when i put it on till when i remove it (usually around 10pm) so if u looking for something long lasting and a makeup u don't even realise u have on till u look in the mirror, mineral makeup is the best way to go!
p.s. I have also found since using mineral makeup, my breakouts have reduced dramatically. :) I hope that was the help u wanted. What is a good foundation that blush sits well on?
if you use liquid foundation - sounds like you need a foundation primer to give your foundation a more solid base so that is 'sits' better on the skin -
try benefit's that gal foundation primer in pink
or philosophy's the supernatural poreless flawless tinted spf
both are absolutely magic, they take a minute to sink in and even out the tone and texture of your face. then when you apply foundation you should be able to feel the difference straight away - it will 'adhere' better and look more even. it should also make it more matte, so you should not experience the sticky feeling you describe....
what kind of blusher do you use? you could try a cheek tint, like benefit's benetint, which they now do in a more rosy colour as well as the original red:
http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Benefit_Be鈥?/a>
or you could try mineral make up foundation, which is a powder that should give you a nice matte finish so when you apply powder blusher on top there won't be any stickiness...
hope all this helps, good luck!
I am a professional makeup artist of 10 years and I agree mineral makeup is really the best. The least amount of chemicals, fillers, binders you can find the better. Many of these mainstream foundations become sticky, streaky, orangey, thick and cakey because of all the fillers and additives which can also break you out with time, even if they say non comedogenic (that actually means nothing in the beauty world of cosmetic companies). I use Faerie Organic Minerals on myself and my clientele due to the fact they are good for your skin and they are light, airy, feel like your own natural skin, cover amazing (even acne and rosacea) and leave a dewy celebrity glow. I have compared them to many other brands and they come out on top in many areas especially finish, purity, overall apparence. Blush applies flawlessly on top of this foundation as their is no stickiness, tackiness or streaks. This looks like flawless natural skin. You really need to look into it, they have a free sample kit on their site that comes with 2 foundations, sheerveil and bronzer. You can check it out here........http://www.faerieorganic.com
well personally. your better option would be to skip the liquid foundation and use powder.
i use a powder foundation (biscuit) from claires for only 拢2.00!!!
and it gives it an even coat which is really light %26amp; natural.
now i know this sounds weird but..
i use a natural pink lipgloss for my blush. but not too much!
it gives it a sheen because its liquid which reflects natural light therefore enhancing the cheekbone %26amp; makes them appear plumper %26amp; higher. you just rub a little circle of it on the apple and maybe a little directed towards the temples.
The outcome of using a liquid foundation and dry blush = sticky %26amp; lumpy which also makes the blush appear more orange.
good luck x

How do you apply cream blush?
I've started using cream blush instead of powder blush but I still haven't mastered how to do it. Can you give me a step by step instruction? How do you apply cream blush?
Take some blush with your fingertips, and apply it to your skin in a ';sweep'; motion. Like from your cheekbone, up to your temple in a straight line.
Then just blend it in with your fingers rubbing in little circles until it look even. How do you apply cream blush?
Start with the tiniest bit ever as you can always add but taking off the excess is harder!
I always use my middle finger, smile %26amp; apply in circles.
You just need to practice, good luck!
Yeah it's best to use your fingertips than a brush when it comes to cream blush.
Just take a bit with your fingertips and smile widely, go straight in the middle of the round bit of your cheek and from the middle point 'circle' outwards with your finger and blend all around. x
Wife uses little make up sponges.
1. Understand that cream blush is harder to use than powder blush. So practice getting it right before going out.
2.Put a small amount of the product on your fingertips.
3.Lightly press your fingertips over the apples of your cheeks and cheekbones, blending the blush very carefully until it's completely absorbed into the skin.
4.A second application may be necessary.
5.Tissue off any excess blush left on your fingers.
tips
Choose a cream blush that is similar in color to your natural blushing hue.
It's better to build up blush color little by little than to try to correct an overload.
Gone overboard with the blush? Blending a bit of powder over the area tones things down.
smile apply to the apple of your cheek and blend lightly towards the edges of your face, without over doing it
start with a small amout and build up to the amount of colour that you need
good luck 8)

Whats the difference between a blush brush and a powder brush?
i accidentally bought a powder brush instead of a blush ones. are there any significant differences? Thanks!Whats the difference between a blush brush and a powder brush?
Usually a powder brush has fewer bristles and is bigger while a blush brush has more bristles and is smaller in size.
You can use them both the blush brush for more powder coverage and the powder brush for a lighter coverage or color.Whats the difference between a blush brush and a powder brush?
no, just a powder brush is much softer and so may not brush on as much blusher as a blusher brush would have, blusher brushes are more coarse so that you can apply more blusher.
it won't matter at all, you may just need to apply two dustings!
xxx
a powder blush is fuller and rounder and a blush brush is angled
sometimes the blush brush makes streaks so i prefer the powder one

What is the best blush, eye and lip makeup for my coloring?
I have very pale skin, dark blonde hair, green w/ gray eyes. What is the best blush, eye and lip makeup for my coloring?
With eyes that are even remotely green, colors like green/purple and redish browns look the best. It really brings out the green more. For blush, go with something light, and I think a pink with a slightly but barely there plum hue would work nicely.
With lip makeup, it depends on your other makeup. I think you could pull off any color, but it's best to stay in the coral/pink/goldish area.

What color eyeshadow and blush should I wear?
Can anyone give a girl tips on the right eyeshadow and blush to wear, I am tanned just a little bit, not much, but a littlle bit, I have dark red hair, almost brown, with brown eyes, can someone give me some good tips.... Thank youWhat color eyeshadow and blush should I wear?
white shiny eyeshadow!!What color eyeshadow and blush should I wear?
A light cream or beige shadow just to highlight your eyes. A little peachy blush to bring out your tan. Since you are tan you do want to overdo it.
wow that sounds pretty! I use bronzer in the summer for blush- it looks incredible and sun kissed. I also use like colors for shadow, with your redish hair I bet you can get away with green shades of eye shadow. I love the new Loreal line of pigmented eye shadows, they are shimmery and very pretty. My favorite color is Tenacious which is a tan shimmery color, not to obvious but just right.
peach, beige, and/or pink (shades) for shadow. and beige/bronzer for cheeks.
ok..well since u have tanned skin u wanna go a lil lighter...not tooo bright....i mean like a light green...soft and not to strong...of purple of pink...again very subtle on those
with the hair id still stick to the colors i said above...blue too... not dark...but like fresh water blue nice and light and airy
hope i helped!!
You should use a light color of brown. It a will go great with your hair and will bring out the tan in you. Also try putting a little of brown in your brow so it will bring your hair our and color to it.
look in magazines and find a girl who has the same tones as you. then look at which color YOU like the best.
You are you biggest critic, and if you like how it looks thats all that matters.
a silver or light pink eyeshadow will do u good. go for a darker colour blush which will accentuate ur tan. such as dark pink
if you use just a little bit of yellow mixed with a light brown and for blush you might want to put on lightly a really light brown i think that you will look great in what ever u wear
as you can see many people have varied answers. i would say just make sure its not overdone, and use a color that you like. if you like POP, use a blue or brighter color. if you like SWEET, use a peachy or brown. or if you like SEXY, use some darker browns and mature colors.
so basicly, you can do a lot of colors.
Hey there! Well, you have several options to bring out your beautiful browns..
Gold hues, some greens and a little coccoa color would be perfect for your eyes. Even sometimes a violet, hint of blue would really make your eyes have a more green appearance.. And with using golden/green eyeshadow, it will really bring your eyes to a hazel/green which will look fantastic with your auburn hair! Stick with a brown eye pencil, and brown/black mascara! Good Luck!
I have brown eyes too and I find that a little bit of blue eyeliner around the top and bottom lids and then some brown eye shadow works really nicely. makes the eyes POP. Blush, I just use any ol dkind but very tiny amt on the apples of my cheekies.http://www.imvu.com/catalog/web_landing.php?p=power%26amp;userId=10657406
since you are a little tan, i'd use brown shades and bronzer instead of blush. try Shimmer Strips by Physicians Formula (CVS pharmacy $ 10)
a goldish brown would look great on you! it always looks best when girls wear natural makeup so neutral browns, beiges, and golds are best. also, if you want to do a wilder look i think turquoise would be great. you could experiment with pinks, too (but only ones with a darker base not pastel). hope my advice helps you out!
Two Words Cosmopolitan Magazine. I live by it it gives you all make up, hair, tanning, sex, and style info you'll ever need and it was voted the #1 Womens Magazine.
I would suggest olive greens on the eyes and a pretty peach blush. Greens coordinate with the red tones in your hair, and peach enhances a tan and looks beautiful on redheads. : )
Maybe try Cover Girl Eye Slicks gel pencil in sleek sage (I think that's the name, not sure) or Cover Girl eyeliner in Vintage Khaki. MAC has some beautiful olive shades as well. For a peachy blush, try MAC Springsheen blush or Benefit Georgia.
Hope that helps!

How can you apply blush in the perfect formation?
I have had multiple time when i'm not looking, and my whole face looks like i'm really angry!! Please helpHow can you apply blush in the perfect formation?
I am a makeup artist and this is what I think will help you so here you go:
STEP 1: Select a color of blush that resembles the natural glow of your cheeks after you exercise. Consider having a lighter color for day, and a darker tone for a more dramatic evening look. Keep your blush in the same color family as your lipstick.
2: Consider the type of blush best suited to your skin type. Cream blush works very well for drier skin, as it can help to keep skin hydrated. Powder blush is better suited to oily skin.
3: Complete the application of foundation, powder and all eye makeup before applying blush.
4: Use a full, round brush for the application of your powder blush, as it will make for a softer and more professional look than the brush that comes with the blush. This should not be the same brush you use to apply your loose powder.
5: Place a small amount of blush on the brush and gently tap off any excess. Or, place a small amount of cream on your middle finger.
6: Look in the mirror and smile.
7: Place powder blush on the apple of your cheek and gently brush up your cheekbone toward your hairline. Dot cream blush beginning at the apple, and gently blend up the cheekbone toward the hairline.
8: Focus your blush at the outside of your face near your hairline if you have a fuller face. For high cheekbones, concentrate blush in the center of your face to accentuate your bones.
9: Blend a little blush down your cheek for a little more natural, less dramatic look. Tips %26amp; Warnings
For rosier cheeks, consider gel or liquid tints.
Wash your hands after use, as these products may stain the hands.
Remember that the lighter your skin tone, the lighter your blush color should be.
Wash brushes regularly with a makeup remover or nonsoap cleanser.
Avoid following the underside of your cheekbones, which makes for an artificial and unbecoming look.
How to choose the right color:
1: Consider blush colors that match the color of your cheeks after an aerobic workout. Such shades mimic your natural coloring and help you avoid having cheeks that look painted or artificial.
2: Head to a department store and have a makeup artist assist you in finding a complementary shade. Check your options in natural lighting whenever possible.
3: Remember, the darker your skin tone, the darker your blush should be. Women with fair complexions usually look best in pink or coral shades, while darker complexions are enhanced by wine or burgundy hues.
4: Keep daytime blush light in tone. Opt for a heavier application to create a more dramatic evening look.
5: Match the undertones in your lipstick to the color of your blush. If your lips are red, opt for a pink or reddish cheek color. For pink or rose-colored lips, opt for similar hues in your blush color. Tips %26amp; Warnings
Avoid choosing a color just because you think it looks pretty in the case. To enhance your beauty, it must complement your coloring.
Consider bronzer as an alternative to blush.
Applied to all areas of the face, it gives a sun-kissed glow without any damaging rays.

Have you ever seen Gone With The Wind? You know how she smiles and pinches her cheeks to give her color? Well if you smile while you put your blush on and start at the nose and move swiftly back you should look great. Also, be sure to blow some blush off of the brush even if not necessary because you can have to much and this is the sure way to make sure you don't.
do an over the top cheesy smile and apply it to ur cheek bones - simple!!
Before you put your blush on, feel where your cheekbone is. Where it starts (by your hairline) that's where you start with the blush. Ok, now put two fingers next to your nose. You need to stop two fingers away from your nose. If you want a rosey, perky look, then smile and put just a LITTLE BIT MORE on the apples of you cheek. Not too much though! You'll end up looking like a clown!
whats blush ??
smile yuur cheesiest smile or make a kissing face and then apply ...brush up from the apple to the top..if yu have a round face then apply it right up the hairline.. xx
Try a little at a time. Start with the highest part of your cheekbone and brush up and not down.
Keep practicing and you will get it right. Just don't go lower than your cheekbone.
Smile %26amp; apply blush to the apple, then sweep it up to the hairline. Perfect blush!
this tip is from a friend of mine who is a professional makeup artist. she said the best way to put blush on is drawing a ';%26lt;'; like shape from the junction of your hair line and cheekbone to the center of your cheek, and then down to the ear lope. this way you can balance out the face shape and make it look smaller.
Suck in your cheeks and apply ONLY to the apples of your cheeks.
Depends on the shape of your face doesn't it?

How do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby?
have an oval face with chubby cheeks. How do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby? How do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby?
First, it is important to own a good quality Blush brush. A blush brush will help to place and blend the blush perfectly. Next, pick a color that looks natural on you and then apply it to the apples of your cheeks blending up along you check bones. To create even more depth to your cheeks try applying contour (a darker color) starting at your jaw bone joint and blending in a downward motion to the cheeks centerHow do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby?
Blush will do nothing to make you look less chubby. If anything, by enhancing the apples of your cheeks you will look more rounded.
The best solution is a bronzer or contour powder. Buy a regular face powder that is several shades darker than your own, if you are pale. If you are black, buy a highlighter or pale colored powder.
If you are using a darker colored powder, apply powder to darken (slightly( the neck (under the chin), the hollows of the checks, and the temples.
If you are black skinned and using a highligher, apply it to the tops of the cheekbones, the tip of th chin, bridge of the nose, and middle of the forhead.
Google ';contouring'; for more detailed explanations of how to properly contour or highlight.
One more thing that works well for chubby faces is using a lot of liner on the lower eyelids, creating more definition to the face.
Ok, so almost everyone knows that blusher is an essential for a make up bag, yet its so difficult to find the right, colour, brush, texture, etc.
I would suggest to you a powder blush, that doesn't look too dark as this can look like a 5 year olds done your make up (I know this because of past expericance EEK!) For an oval shaped face, you want to bring it in from your ears.
Use a small blusher brush and work inwards from your ears to the apple's of your cheeks. Its hard to explain over the internet, so I have provided some pics to help you.
A sketch on where your blusher should be:

GOOD LUCK
you're not going to be putting blush alone to make your face appear less chubby. What you're going to need to do is contour your face first then apply blush. What you need to contour your face would be either an angle brush or a contour brush. You can go to MAC to purchase an angle brush or sephora. I usually contour my face and underneath my chin, to give an illusion that I don't have a double chin. After you contour then you can apply blush.
blush is NOT what you want if you want the illusion of a more narrow face... it highlights the cheeks and cheekbones bringing more attention to them, what you want to do is suck in your cheeks and fill in those hollows with a contouring powder
first put the blush on the apple of your cheeks(smile and its the part that sticks out). then apply it in an upward diagonal motion, angleing it towards your temples. make sure to blend well.
good luck!

Any tips on how to apply the right amount of blush?
Also, where exactly should the blush be applied?Any tips on how to apply the right amount of blush?
just blow the brush gently before u apply. the result is amazing.Any tips on how to apply the right amount of blush?
In the upper cheek bone, very lightly.
First, you must get the right shade of blush. The correct shade is the color your cheeks turn in the cold. Then when you have the proper color, smile a toothy smile and apply right on the apples of the cheeks.
if u r a pale person...a small amount of peach in a diagnol sweeping motion under the eyes.
if you r very tan add a spritz of a shinny copper color 2 the apple of your cheek
and if you have very dark skin...add a bit of silver/ gray/peach near your eyes and chin
A bronzer is great. Makes you have that fresh, natural sunkissed look. Apply lightly. A big makeup brush is better than the smaller ones. Apply bronzer on your cheekbones, a lil on your nose, chin and forhead area. To give you that natural all over face glow.
on the cheek bone intill u can just see it!!
Yup, depending on your face shape...check on search engines for face shapes and where to apply to bring out your best features. Then after you put it on in the mirror take a small hand heald mirror outside with you to make sure it's not GLOWINGLY BRIGHT in natural sunlight. After that if you're still not sure. Ask a make-up consultant at the mall. You don't have to buy their product to ask.
You should try to follow your check bones. It should be able to just highlight your checks and add alittle color. Don't put too much on or it will look really fake and you want to look like you have a natural glow.

I usually use a lighter shade (more pink or peachy) on the apples of my cheeks, extending outward along my cheekbones, then apply a darker (more mauve or plum color) about the hollows, under the cheekbones. And half the time I cake it on because I'm pale, and I use a pretty light powder to follow. If you need some contour, that's probably the way to go......not necessarily thick like me, but with the colors, I mean - light/dark
just blow the brush gently before u apply. the result is amazing.Any tips on how to apply the right amount of blush?
In the upper cheek bone, very lightly.
First, you must get the right shade of blush. The correct shade is the color your cheeks turn in the cold. Then when you have the proper color, smile a toothy smile and apply right on the apples of the cheeks.
if u r a pale person...a small amount of peach in a diagnol sweeping motion under the eyes.

Which colours of lipstick, blush and eye make up will look good on me?
I have long black hair, brown eyes, and fair skin with sort of olivey undertones. What colours of make up will look good on me?Which colours of lipstick, blush and eye make up will look good on me?
It sounds like you are a ';Winter';. Go to ColorMeBeautiful.com, click on your season %26amp; it explains what types and ranges of colors look good with your kind of complexion. It's not necessary to stay strictly within their recommendations (or buy their products), but it's a great place to start if you just want general color advice and direction.Which colours of lipstick, blush and eye make up will look good on me?
i dont exactly know ur skintone. but i would tell u colors that will look good on everyone. for eyes black eyeliner and mascara, eyeshadow in browns beiges nudes taupes gold. for lips try nude colors or clear lipgloss. as for blush i dont know ur complexion exactly. if ur fair try peach or pink. bronzer is always safe.
black eyeliner on the bottom [CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus in Black Onyx..is the best]-the twist up not pencil or liquid. and either blue, white, light orange, or pink eye shadow/shimmer. a light pink blush or bronzer is really nice. and instead of lipstick try color tinted lip gloss.preferbly an orangish-brownish color [the color it looks like in the bottle] or a pink [Pink Blaze from the Bare Bronze line from Victoria's Secret is amazing.] and for foundation you should use Covergirl Tinted Moisturizer..it goes on like lotion so it isnt all thick and fake looking and it evens out your complection.Good Luck!
depends on your style actually, but for lipstick you could go with one that has blue or brownish undertones, not the really dark shades though or you'll look like an old lady or a vampire queen. those new cheek stains work well with every skin tone, so just get one in a standard shade, but not too pink, ask the counter lady. remember that the best kind of make-up is the kind that looks like it's not even there, especially for the eyes, so stick to shades almost next to your skin color. hope this helped. :)

Use a cleanser on your face nightly. That will remove the makeup on your face (including blush, and foundation if you have it) for the night to prevent it from clogging up your pores.
I'm sorry, I can't believe that someone actually claimed that makeup removed was the leading cause of blindness in women and then tried to sell you things. That's outrageous.
I'm surprised it's not coming off with whatever facial soap you're using, but like everyone else has said - even though the makeup remover doesn't specify cheeks, it should be fine.
I've never heard of blush that stayed put after scrubbing... usually blush fades off pretty quickly. What are you using?
wash cloth wont work because its rough against your skin as your rubbing hard to get the makeup off.
i use the makeup removing face wipes.their moist and easily wipe off any make up! i love them!
You can use your remove on your cheeks it is not going to hurt. Blush is supposed to come off daily like the rest of your makeup. Use some of your face wash if you would like, warm water may work as well.
soap and water....duh
well i use remover, but a bit of olive il mised with water works to abit.

your cheeks are probably red from using a washcloth. And you should make sure your makeup remover is oil free its the oil makeup remover is the leading cause of blindness in woman. So if your interested in switching removers let me know and ill tell you which way to go ';(mary kay beauty consultant.)
the eye/lip makeup remover will work for blush. Use soap and it wiill probably come off with a wash cloth. Good luck =)
i have the best beauty tip ever!! use baby wipes.. huggies have natural gental wipes and they take your makeup off so well. even mascara. and it does not clog your pores all in all it is the best thing to use
I had this video up on youtube teaching people how to clean their face with moisturzing cream but i del. it.
So--- Use any kind of moisturizing cream, apply it on your face, then clean wit with a tissue.
How long it stays on your skin depends on the type of blush it is. (Powder, cream, gel, mineral, etc.) However, blush should never be difficult to remove because your skin is very sensitive so harsh rubbing should never be involved anywhere on your face. You could try your lip/eye makeup remover just to see if that works, or Ponds Cold Cream (which is awesome and inexpensive.) And, if you didn't use soap on the washcloth, try that. Hope that helps.
soap.
No it should come off, try warm water %26amp; some non-scented soap. That should work! If not try baby oil, but make sure to get it all off your face otherwise your skin might break out (because the oil).
I use cetaphil face wash to remove face makeup. Just a wash cloth without a cleanser will not remove makeup. They are designed to stay on the face and a you'll need a cleanser to disolve the makeup to remove it.
Usually any kind of makeup remover will remove foundation and blush. The ones that say that they will remove eye makeup just have the ability to remove the waterproof formula in some of the products without irritating your eyes.
Powder blush should wash off in your nightly cleansing regimen. Most soaps formulated for the face will wash your makeup off. If it seems like you didn't get it all off in the first wash, go for round two. I usually use an oil-based cleanser, like Philosophy's Purity, to remove makeup, and then I follow it with a medicated cleanser to fight acne.
