Would it make YOU blush if you were kissed unexpectedly?

Especially if it was by someone who was just a friend?

For the sake of questioning, we'll say just on the cheek.

If better argument arises, lips will do.

Shucks, 10 points'll go to anyone with a cute story.Would it make YOU blush if you were kissed unexpectedly?

I remember when I went to see a male friend who lived down the street from my house. I was 17 years old. I really liked him as a person but had no desire for him any other way. We sat on the couch talking and all of a sudden he leaned over and said, ';I'm going to kiss you, Mary.'; I got up and said, ';oh, no you're not!'; He then said, ';oh yes I am.'; We walked around the coffee table, he on the opposite side of me, for what seemed too long. He'd say, ';come on just one little kiss.'; I'd say, ';now Peter, get a hold of yourself. You don't know what you're doing.'; He'd then say, ';yes, I do.'; We walked around that table pretty darn fast. I kept my eyes on the door. It was closed but not locked. When I came around closest to the door I made a beeline for it and ran. I could hear him yelling, ';come back Mary, I didn't mean it.'; Really it was funny. I had seen him since and we both pretended it didn't happen. Poor guy I don't think he had any luck with the girls.

Thanks for the question. It brought back memories I haven't thought of in years. :)
Probably xD

Like the first time my bf kissed me xP

We've been friends for so long and we hung out like everyday. I never thought he liked me until he started holding my hands and stuff. Then one day he tried to get me to tell him who he liked and when I asked him he kissed me xD

  • Girls: Do you blush around guys you are not attracted to?

Or do you blush around everyone? Or is it more likely around guys you are attracted to? Or as long as someone compliments you unexpectedly?Girls: Do you blush around guys you are not attracted to?
Yes I blush with most guys even if I'm not attracted to them I'm really shy though, I usually blush when I don't know them and I'm not comfortable with them yet.Girls: Do you blush around guys you are not attracted to?
if they girl is shy she usually blushes in front of people, anyone really. but more around the guys she is attracted to. for example, reason something out during class could make a girl blush, or talking to people she's not comfortable with can make her blush, lastly, when she makes a mistake she might blush as well.
The first and last are in my case.

Even in front of girls because I get nervous and embarrassed because I'm talking to people whom I don't know.

As for blushing around guys I like, that doesn't happen often. I do flush around people when I'm excited or if I'm talking a lot and hyper.
XD it depends on who and what they have said or done to me. and what i have heard and if they like me or not ect.
I only blush when I think something dirty about someone I like :D

    Or someone super cute %26lt;3
If a guy compliments, me Im gonna blush. Heck, if a girl compliments me I blush. It's nice to receive compliments from guys though.
Of course...blushing is no indication of attraction
i laughed once in front of a boy that i did not find attractive and i started bushing

What is the best way to brighten up an aging face, i.e. eyes, foundation, blush?

Ah, as we age, less is more. Get rid of any dark blue/baby blue eyeshadow. Stick with neutral colors on eyes, including brown eyeliner and mascara. No more black. Use a concealer under your eyes and to cover up any blemishes. Use a mineral foundation that's suited for your skin tone. Add a peachy blush to the apples of your cheeks and put on a nice light color lipstick followed by gloss. Don't forget to use a powder on your eyebrows to fill in any gaps. Now you're set. What is the best way to brighten up an aging face, i.e. eyes, foundation, blush?

How to apply blush and make it look natural?

can anyone recommend any good blush with no glitter and sparkling stuff?

is putting on no other makeup and just blush ok? i only want to add a little color to my cheeks. i dont want to use foundation and all of that.

where do you apply it on the cheeks? How to apply blush and make it look natural?
You should suck in your cheeks and then take a natural tan or taupe colored blush onto your ';indents'; of your cheeks as if your dusting something. btw make sure your brush is completely clean and not brittle and your 'hairs' should not have 'split ends' that keeps your look very natural. you never want blush that's streaky! then use some highlighter (not the kind u use in school lol) and then dot it on your cheekbones. there should be at least 3 -4 dots of highlighter. your cheeks should be relaxed by the time you highlight. if you want color too, before you use the taupe blush..use a cream blush with a hint of pink or red.suck in your cheeks and apply like the highlighter only in the indent.use medium sized dots making their way up to your temples. blend until a hint of color is left and voila! your done...best answer would help!!

BTW: use concealer under your eyes to keep you looking bright and natural!!How to apply blush and make it look natural?
application: smile and sweep onto to the apples of the cheeks and slightly backwards lightly.

a good way is to pinch your own cheeks and see which part reddens to see your natural blush area.

I personally like mineral powder blushes, and its also important to use the right brush, a fluffy one, not the one that comes in the package.

another easy way is to use your fav lipstick shade, take a tiny bit and rub it into your cheeks.

First choose the color using nature as your guide. According to InStyle, the trick is to find a color that matches your cheeks when they're flushed after exercise or being out in the cold.

Now that you have the color, choose the right formula for your skin type. Powder is typically best for oily %26amp; combo skin. Cream is great for dry skin. Liquid and gel are great for oily skin. For even better results, combine cream %26amp; powder together

Apply foundation, eye color %26amp; lipstick.

Use a professional full brush instead (I like MAC's blush brush No. 116)

Put the blush on your brush, tapping off any excess or put a dab of gel on your fingers.
get a light pink shade of covergirl blush. To apply just smile and brush on the blush to the apples (the part that sticks out when you smile) of your cheeks. Just apply in circular motions. Remember! Less is more!

Here is a video of how to apply blush:

    http://www.revver.com/video/43248/makeup鈥?/a>
im not sure of a actual one, but barry m, or loreal or even NYC will do one for certain at a actual low price.

a good way of appliing blush is by suckin gin your cheeks and looking like a fish, the gaps then are wear you apply it, But never use tons. that will look fake just dust it over.
New York Color's Cheek Glow Powder Blush is great and it doesn't have any glitter. Smile and apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. It is ok if you only want to apply a blush by itself because it will stand out even if you only have a little on.
ok so i have natuaraly blushed cheecks so i no exactly how to do it just pick out a really light shade of blush and suck in your checks and put it only on the bone then once you put a light cover on smere it around a little bit and it looks natural
probably light pink blush :) ps: dude u look like me wtf lol

hope this helpsIve seen that some people mainly foreigners blush-they bcome red.Is it possible 4 us also to blush?
Everyone can blush, I have a black friend who looks too adorable when she blushes. A blush will be much more obvious the fairer your skin. People mostly blush when they're shy or embarrased, all depends on the situation. Also if you have fair skin and you spend a lot of time in the sun you'll more than likely end up looking red all over!
everyone blushes! its more noticible on pale skin though

  • Do guys only blush and get embarrassed around the girl they're interested in or attracted to?

He blushes around me when it's just him and me (I don't know him well but he's in my class). Around others, he appears confident.Do guys only blush and get embarrassed around the girl they're interested in or attracted to?
    yeah he likes you

Why do we blush when we get embarrassed or shy?

Why do we get red?Why do we blush when we get embarrassed or shy?
Blushing is a unique blend of evolutionary and social behavior. It's an involuntary reaction of the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for our ';fight or flight'; response, but blushing is solely triggered by social cues.

People generally blush when they're feeling embarrassed, scared, or stressed. As a result of the ';fight or flight'; response, the capillaries that carry blood to the skin widen, and the increased blood flow lends the face, as well as sometimes the chest, neck, or even the body or legs, a reddened color.

Excessive facial blushing, or erythrophobia, is caused by overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. The condition can cause a lot of psychological duress and has engendered several support groups.

It's common knowledge that animals don't blush. So while there are some evolutionary cues behind blushing, it's also linked to something uniquely human -- moral consciousness

(author of ';Peace From Nervous Suffering';) says, ';a blush is caused by the nerves controlling the blood vessels in our face and neck becoming so startled by emotion - fear, anger, shame - that they suddenly release their grip and blood floods into the vessels.'; Trying NOT to blush makes it that much worse! Why do we blush when we get embarrassed or shy?
this physical reaction is caused by psychological causes that occur from naturally occuring biochemicals know as asters.
Blood travels too close the the outer layer of epidemis(skin) on ur face, thus red...

Guys: Is it cute for a girl to blush? Like for her face to turn completely red?

I have this problem... all the time. And I get even more embarrassed when people point it out. So maybe if I know that guys find it adorable that girls do that, then maybe I won't feel so embarrassed?Guys: Is it cute for a girl to blush? Like for her face to turn completely red?
Some guys definitely think it's cute. I do, for example.

Don't worry, be happy!Guys: Is it cute for a girl to blush? Like for her face to turn completely red?

yes a lot of girls do flush a lot, my friends do and its actually cute, I've seen that boys seem to like it, I'm not saying that all of them like it but most do, so don't get embarrass its normal
i guess..but it is cuter with guys
Hell yes. It's definitely a turn on for me. What better way for a girl to show she likes you than to blush when you're around them? It's super cute, adorable, innocent looking, and overall pretty nice turn on. It's a good thing.
ofcorse i think they look nice when they blush
Naw. Don't worry. I have the same problem. More when I'm in public. It doesn't bother me much.
    i think that is attracting.

Does cream blush make your skin look shiny?

I'm considering purchasing some M.A.C cream blush, but i dont want it to make my skin look oily as my skin sorta already is oily.Does cream blush make your skin look shiny?
it would as it is aiming to add a glow which makes it shiny

Does cream blush make your skin look shiny?
    Hi,

if your skin is oily, I wouldn't use cream blush. it may smear off.

Some have a pearlyf inish to them and will make your skin shimmer/look shiney. The matte may ones may not stay put.

You should probably stick to powder blush :)

    ~M
if you have an oily skin better use a powder blush.

mineral blush are very good too.

What is the best way to loosen up blush in it's container?

i use mac blush. i have used all the blush in the middle of it's round container. i can't get blush on my brush evenly from whats left. what can i do so i am able to use what's left? What is the best way to loosen up blush in it's container?
When I have a little bit of face powder left in the container and do not want it to go to waste, all I do is use the other side of my powder brush and crush the powder. When I have the amount of crush powder I want, I take the normal side of the brush and dip it into the powder. There you go!What is the best way to loosen up blush in it's container?
Throw it against a wall! just kidding, lol.

i say close the container, and tap it upside down (on it's ';face';) on your bathroom counter. turn it back over and open it. TADA! hopefully that works.

If someone has a lil acne on there cheeks can they still wear blush?

I'm a little broken out on one side of my face just under my eye like there really tiny pimples and I wanted to know could I still wear blush or will I look weird or something? If someone has a lil acne on there cheeks can they still wear blush?
it might irritate the acne, so it's probably better not to.

But for special events, you could cover it up with some tinted moisturizer and loose mineral powder, and then you could brush on some blush with the biggest, fluffiest blush you can find.

A very ';in'; look is cream blush. It makes you look like you're glowing from the inside, but it's oily. Rub it over on the apples of your cheeks, the part that sticks out.

You can also use gel blush. It has the same consistency as lip gloss..you can even use a little lip gloss if you want to. You only need a little. Dab three dots on the apples of your cheeks and slowly blend. If someone has a lil acne on there cheeks can they still wear blush?
Make sure you use make-up remover and then you can check the look, with and without blusher, cant you? Cleansing is SO important
omg yesss! i have that too and blush helps blend it and plus it gives you a nice healthy glow..
    stain or powder.

Can anyone give me some advice? I sure would appreciate itHow do you figure out what color blush you should use for your skin tone?
Have you tried warm tones lik brownish colors or the ones that look a bit golden like you just got a sun tan? Just stay away from reds and pinks. How do you figure out what color blush you should use for your skin tone?
in the seventeen magazine that is on stands now, it has pictures of all different skin types, and what colors look best on them
    go to this website
I would have to agree with ';Pedrojuansgirl'; !! You definately want to stick with neutrals or warm colors. The pinks and reds will look even more pink or red on you. I have dark blonde hair and reds look really red on me! Because of my light skin and med tones. My mom was a model and she always told my friend that was a red head NOT to were reds and pinks (on the face that is) So I I'm just passing on my accumulated knowledge. Hope this helps :0)
when your at a store you can ask for help and someone may asist you but if your alone smudge it on the back side of your wrist and if it blends in good then its for you
Just a light pink not to much but make sure you can see a little

What is the difference bwt a blush brush and a powder brush?

A blush brush is smaller, with shorter blunt ended bristles. The shorter bristles allow for more control when applying the makeup, so you can contour the makeup to your cheekbones and face shape. The blunt shape (usually flat or angled) keeps the makeup from dusting to other parts of your face, where you don't want it.

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

A powder brush has longer and softer bristles. It's a big brush with a gently rounded shape to the bristles to allow for a light dusting of powder all over your face.

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>What is the difference bwt a blush brush and a powder brush?
the powder brush is bigger then a blush brush because the powder brush needs to go all over your face. the blush brush is just used for the cheeksWhat is the difference bwt a blush brush and a powder brush?
A Blush brush is smaleer in size to give you more control and a powder brush is bigger and fluffer to give you more coverage.
Blush brush is smaller and stiffer for more control. Powder brush larger, fluffier and softer for more coverage.

What make color of eyeshadow and blush look best with tan-ish skin and brown eyes?

Help? What make color of eyeshadow and blush look best with tan-ish skin and brown eyes?
golds, browns, and light pink eye shadow

darker pink or light red blushWhat make color of eyeshadow and blush look best with tan-ish skin and brown eyes?
You can play with all sorts of colors. Do you have double eye-lids or single? Single eye-lids can be a lil tricky when it comes to colors. Colors that are too light, such as pink, or white, may make your eyes look puffy.

Anyway, you can play it safe with earthy tones.

As for blush, raspberry tones could be cute for you as you said that you're tan-ish. Or even peachy mauve tones.

Have fun playing around with your colors :)
Not really sure how';tan'; you are but for brown(hazel eyes) green eyeshadow looks good. If you have regular brown eyes than i would go with purple. as for blush ... anything with a natural look. The clown cheeks are so done. I would go for more of a bronzer to light dust on the cheeks to give a glowing effect rather than color.
honestly i would rlly have to see a pic to judge its diff on everyone

im thinkin purple or greens tho!

or if u want something more natural try dark browns

place the blush on your cheekbones, rather than the apples of your cheeks, and nothing in the hollows of your cheeks....and of course keep the shade very subtle....you dont really see it cuz it has to do with the placement(If your looking at the face straight on your not going to see the blush)Does Rockabilly style makeup really include wearing blush?
don't let a trend change your lifestyle, just do what you feel looks best on you. I mean, are you afraid someone will come up to you and say ';that's not rockabilly! where's the blush?'; ...WHO THE F CARES
They wear it on the hollow of their cheeks, not the apples.. maybe that's why you don't see it.

Benefit's powder blushes are fantastic. Dandelion and Coralista look fabulous on all skin tones, they are a peachy kind of pink. Thrrrob (yeah, it's spelled like that)is more of a classic rosy pink and also gorgeous!

It's available at Sephora, ULTA and other places.

For the summer powder blushes are the best, because they look more natural and less shiny/painted if your skin gets a little dewy. In the fall/winter you may want a cream version or even a stain like Benefit's posietint, it doubles as a lip stain. (do I sound like a Benefit salesman or what... I'm not, I promise, I just love their blush products!)
    Hello,

It sounds like you're not much of a make up user so I would use a cheek gel blush like Tarte Flush (This is my personal favorite!). It's great to use on it's own, with moisturizer or over tinted moisturizer. Tarte will last you years. It comes in a push up tube and smells like candy! It's the BEST!

You can of course use powder blush but I find that it works best with a full face of make up and over foundation. Also, it works well over setting powder, too.

Good luck and HAVE FUN! Make up is fun!
The best blush product for your cheeks is MAC Cosmetics Powder Blush, which comes in several colors so you are likely to find a shade that you like. It is highly pigmented, so you do not need to use a lot. You should also invest in a high quality blush brush because how you apply it also makes a big difference on how the blush will look.

Can I use a blush brush to apply foundation?

I have no brushes that are specifically for foundation, so I am wondering whether I could apply it using a simple blush brush. Can I use a blush brush to apply foundation?
    For powder, yes.

For liquid or mousse, no. Just use your hands. Can I use a blush brush to apply foundation?
Lots of wrong answers here...You CAN definitely use a blush brush to apply liquid foundation, but you need a good quality one with minimal fallout. You should use the ';stipple and swirl-method';, where you pour a little bit of foundation on a flat surface of the back of your hand, then dip the brush in it. it's important that only the very tips of the bristles get covered with product. Then stipple it onto your skin, and then swirl to blend. If it's a low quality brush you'll have to pull hairs out, but a good blush brush should be able to handle it no problem. A tutorial on how to use a blush brush can be found at the link below. Note that the artist here uses a bigger brush, but makes it a point to say that you can use a blush brush. The video is really a comparison between 2 methods, but you'll get the idea.
I'm not sure that its so good to use your hands while applying foundation due to bacteria that can cause you to break out. Sponges work well... But from PERSONAL experience, I don't even like using brushes to apply foundation. It makes your foundation look really streaky, and since you have to blend it out with a sponge anyway, you might as well just apply it with a sponge in the first place.
You absolutely can, but it needs to be a good quality blush brush with soft bristles, and a full, rounded head. If the head isn't firm enough, then the application will be streaky. Don't forget to wash it after every use, bacteria love moisture, and leave it flat to dry.
only if its a powdered foundation

but if its liquid its probably like impossible
only if its power. otherwise it clumps.
can i use a blush to apply foundatio?!? you're crazy! just your hands ... or maxium a soft cotton little (teared... of course)
    if its powder yes.

thats what i use for my powder.
For powder, yes. if liquid or mousse, use a sponge or fingers.

Can I still wear blush without looking weird even though my acne scars still show or should I wear more makeup?

I usually wear MAC concealer and powder but It doesn't totally cover my scars. I don't know if my scars can be totally covered because they are indented acne scars but I would like to start wearing blush again. Can I still wear blush without looking weird even though my acne scars still show or should I wear more makeup?
This cover up is good for covering up scars. Cosmetics surgeons recommend this for scars.

http://www.amazon.com/Youngblood-Pressed鈥?/a>Can I still wear blush without looking weird even though my acne scars still show or should I wear more makeup?
Acne is a pernicious and upsetting condition, and most sufferers long for the day when their skin is clear of it. But many acne patients achieve clear skin only to find themselves left with a disappointing aftermath 鈥?acne scars. While many scars will fade significantly with time, most patients will want to begin enjoying their improved skin immediately. Thankfully, there is great makeup for acne scars available that can balance the appearance of your skin, giving you the bright and clear complexion that you have waited so long to achieve. There is a wide variety of specialist makeup for acne scars available, but many people will find that ordinary makeup, applied correctly, will do the job just as well.

If you have had a history of bad skin, it is always wise to select light, non-greasy make up products 鈥?there are a huge variety of foundations and powders available for sensitive skins, and many medicated varieties, should you feel your skin still needs a little extra help in keeping clear. Remember that your scars will lighten as time passes, but if dark scars are making you feel particularly self-conscious then there is a good selection of speciality make up for acne scars available that can also be used to cover other types of scars and birthmarks. If you would like some first hand tips on minimising the appearance of your scars, then treat yourself to a makeover at one of your local drug stores make up counters. The professionals will show you how to use their products to best compliment your own skin.

If you feel that using makeup for your acne scars is simply not enough, then there are ways of getting rid of acne scars. Dermabrasion is a popular treatment among former acne sufferers, and can help reduce the appearance of pitted scars significantly. The procedure involves the light scraping of the top most layer of skin, and while it can be effective, the process will initially result in skin that appears very raw. Skin needs especially delicate treatment after this procedure and most doctors will advise against even the use of camouflage makeup after dermabrasion. This can be upsetting for many patients who have already spent too much time with bad skin, so before signing up for the procedure be sure that is worth the possibility of getting rid of your acne scars. Make up for acne scars can be just as effective.

  • How do you apply blush, and bronzer?

Every time I try to put on blush I look like a clown, lol. So how do I put it on so it looks subtle, yet I still get a rosy glow? Also do you apply bronzer the same way, or is it different? How do you apply blush, and bronzer?
Bronzers are great for adding a little color and glow to your face. Use a big fluffy brush...tap off any excess and apply it to where the sun would naturally hit for that sunkissed look. I generally put a little bronzer on the forehead, bridge of nose and chin. If you want to contour your face you can make a fish face by sucking your cheeks in and follow the natural hollow with bronzer to create a more sculpted face. As for blush be sure to choose a good color...I really like MAC Prism blush...very natural and not bright at all. Get some color on your blush brush and tap off the excess. Smile so that you can find the apples of your cheeks. Apply the color on the apples and slowly bring the color up to the temples by either gently tapping the brush or light brush strokes. It really depends on how you normally apply makeup. Make sure to have a clean fluffy brush to blend out any harsh lines so that it looks subtle and natural. Another tip is if you've applied too much just dip your brush in a little loose powder and buff it out...it will tone down the color. Hope this helps =DHow do you apply blush, and bronzer?
you have to make sure you're using a big brush and the right color...don't use too much product...bronzer should be applied where the sun hits your face like along the temples of your cheeks, your forehead and the bridge of your nose, blush should be applied lightly either to the apples of your cheeks or just along the bottom of your cheekbone up to the temples...
First I apply blush, then the bronzer... they say if you do that, your blush stays on all day! But it you use a mousse blush and then put on your bronzer, it really does stay on all day!

    http://beauty.about.com/od/makeuptrickstips/ht/blush.htm

Above is a site to teach you how to apply blush... you should either apply it to the apples of your cheeks or the bone of your cheeks. And for bronzer, you use a small amount and brush it all along your face. Don't use to much.... then you'll look like you fake and bake.

    Hope that I helped :)
Just remember to do a little at a time. When you put your brush in the blush or bronzer, tap it a few times. It's easier to add, than take away when it comes to blush. I actually use my bronzer as a blush, but that is just personal preference. Where you put it really depends on your facial features. Some say to put it on the balls of your cheeks, but I have a very round face, so it looks silly when I do that. I prefer to begin around two finger widths from my nose (hope that makes sense) and lightler brush towards my ears. This will give the illusion of a higher cheek bone and will also make your face appear slimmer.

What is the best way to apply eyeshadow and blush?

like every i put my my eyeshadow it's kinda like all over the place and doesn't look neat,i have to get a wet towel and wipe some off.

How do you get a nice finishing look. What is the best way to apply eyeshadow and blush?
to apply eyeshoadow, keep one eye closed and the other open... look in the mirror while you're doing that.

another alternative to doing normal eyeshadow application is doing a smoky eye. you sweep the darkest shade on the eyelid and the next shade(lighter than the previous) on the crease and then the lightest shade right beneath the brow. (i dont recommend using black for day; brown is a good better for daytime)

for blush, use a natural shade so it looks a bit more natural even if you dont put it on perfectly... just use a big brush and smile. sweep it right on the apples of your cheeks and on your temples. What is the best way to apply eyeshadow and blush?
when i apply my eyeshadow i put on a lighter shade first all over the aye so that its up near the eyebrow and a bit on the side of your face near your ear. Then i put a darker shade which matches on the crease line and then i put another shade slightly on the outside if the crease line and it looks blended and nice. Other people tend to apply a light shade on the inside nearer the nose and then a darker shade as the eye gets closer to the ear side which is also very nice.

Blusher is usually very nice looking when applied on the cheek bone and up nixt to the ear to bring some shape to the face and give a very nice structured cheek bone look.
Use a little eye shadow brush to smooth it on, but when you dip it into your eye shadow blow on it so the loose stuff falls off on the floor and not on your face. For blush, blow off the rest of the stuff you dont need and then apply it on the apples of your cheeks. it helps to suck in your cheeks and then wipe it outward to the sides of your face. It gives it a nice finish.
With eye shadow get a make-up brush, and don't apply to much to it. Shake it slightly to get rid of the extra dusting an apply it in sweeps. Don't go overboard and wait for it to settle on your lids before opeing your eyes.

With your blusher make sure you have a blusher brush and some decent blusher. Lightly brush over the blusher and apply to your cheeks.

I would tell you how to brush it onto your cheeks to suit your face shape, however i dont know your face shape =)
instead of using the little sponge q tip looking thing , i use a eyeshadow brush , kinda looks like a paint brush , and i find that looks nicer, put a silvery color below eyebrows and whichever color you like on your eyelids , and for blush , just use the brush that comes with it , and smile so that the apples of your checks stick out and just put it right on them :)
    I would use a blush/bronzer brush

    or a mini kabuki brush

for your eyes, just use your fingers : D
With eyeshadow I have 2 methods and they are

    Method 1

Prime the lids by applying a light touch of foundation or concealer to the lids to even skin tone and help shadow adhere to the lid. Blend well, but use a gentle touch with this sensitive skin area.

Apply mascara second so it won't mess up your eyeshadow by getting those little dots of mascara on it before it dries when you blink.

Sweep a color similar to your skin tone (or a touch lighter) over the entire lid from lashes to browbone. Start at the bottom of your eyelid and work your way up.

Sweep a light white shadow (shimmer or matte, your preference) directly under the brows from the middle of the eye outwards. This is your browbone highlighter and will help to open up the eyes.

Take the next darkest color and sweep shadow across the eyes from lash line to the crease. Blend well outwards.

Apply dark shadow. For the most impact, the darkest color can be applied to the crease of the eye from the corners to the outer edges, blended well. Blending is key to avoid a drastic line across the crease. The second option is to use the darkest shadow to create a sideways ';V'; on the sides of the eyes. Lightly apply shadow to the outer third of the crease and blend into the outer edges of the eyelid, creating a sideways ';V'; shape (The pointed end of the v would be pointing away from the eyes, to help visualize). This helps to define the shape of the eyes, and makes them appear bigger by bringing the focus outwards.

Finish with a careful application of eyeliner to the top lid in a complimentary color. There are so many fantastic eyeliner colors available today, so experiment with what is out there. Plums, greens, and browns are flattering to many eye colors. Tilt the head forward while looking down, and dash short lines along the last line to avoid drags and smudges.

    Method 2

Apply concealer and mascara as described previously.

Apply eyeliner under the eyes (above eyelashes) and a thin line above the eyes close to the eyelashes.

Grab your eyeshadow brush that is thinnest and dab it in the black eyeshadow.

Raise your eyebrows, find the crease of your upper eyelid (where you might feel the bone for the top of your eye socket), and then take the brush and line it with the eyeshadow. Do it as if you're holding a pencil and you're using it to draw on your eyes. Do this to make a half circle above your eyes. (Don't go too far out to the side of your face when doing this step)

Dab the same brush in your black eyeshadow

Fill in the space between the line of eyeshadow you just created, and the eyeliner on your eyelid.

Make sure to do this lightly so the first line of eyeshadow stands out more

Grab your thicker eyeshadow brush and lighter color of eyeshadow (of your choice, it doesn't necassarily have to be yellow) and dab it in that.

Lightly sweep it accross the top of your dark line of black eyeshadow. (don't go too low on the sides of your face)

Dab it back in the eyeshadow and again lightly dab it where you already swept it accross. Dab lightest at the edge of your outer eye and the edge of your inner eye to create a smokey, well maintained effect.

To do the bottom part of the eyeshadow, take out your thin brushed eyeshadow brush again and dab it in your black eyeshadow. (Tap it on the rim to get rid of excess eyeshadow that could fall off the brush and leave unattractive black spots of eyeshadow under your eyes or on your cheeks!)

With one easy motion, start by putting the brush under your bottom lashes and sweeping it from side to side in a straight motion to create the point under the eye on both sides.

Touch up by making sure no excess eyeshadow fell onto unwanted places on your face and adding a little more concealer to seal the deal. and you're done! \

For blush I use this method

Select a color that will help accent your already stunning facial features. Choose a color that you think will look appropriate and won't stand out too much. A bright red may not look great on a pale person. Try a soft pink color such as ';Dandelion'; by Benefit Cosmetics. Maybe even something with a little tan and pink in it, like ';10'; by Benefit Cosmetics.

Get a whole set of brushes, and you can use them for all kinds of different makeup applications. Sometimes blush comes with an applicator. Never use a small, cheap brush like the ones that come in CoverGirl blushes. If you use a cheap brush, You'll have a cheap look.

Make sure your area is well lit for doing makeup. Consider getting a lighted makeup mirror. Prepare for your makeup by washing your face, brushing your teeth, and putting on any foundations, coverups, and bronzers you may use.

Swipe your brush over your cheek about three times, making strokes back and forth or round and round. Put a big smile on your face so your cheeks perk up (these are the apples of your cheeks) and you may even see some dimples. Place the brush over your cheeks and make strokes with the brush from your cheeks (towards your nose) to the side of your face (towards your ears). Move the brush in a circular fashion as well before going to do the other side of your face.

Why do we blush when we are embarrassed?

I know blushing is blood flow to the cheeks, but why does it happen? Why do we blush when we are embarrassed?
http://www.essortment.com/all/blushwhydo鈥?/a>Why do we blush when we are embarrassed?
There is evidence that the blushing region is anatomically different in structure. The facial skin, for example, has more capillary loops per square millimeter and generally more vessels per unit volume than other skin areas. In addition, blood vessels of the cheek are wider in diameter, are nearer the surface, and visibility is less diminished by tissue fluid.

Blushing begins with an emotion鈥攗sually one associated with self-consciousness. Our adrenal glands produce adrenaline that binds to the surface of responsive cells. This causes an enzyme called adenylyl cyclase to activate, which, in turn, causes the level of cyclic AMP to increase. Cyclic AMP is a messenger molecule that transmits the adrenaline signal within the cell. This increase in cyclic AMP levels directly causes the dilation of blood vessels.

to start with, look in the mirror. Smile the HUGEST smile you can, and , while smiling, put on blush. now, you have put blush on the apples of your cheeks. if you have burt's bees super shiney lip gloss, you should know that it is mineral and not sticky at all. if you apply a little pit on the apples of your cheeks, it gives your cheeks a nice, defined, glowing look. it won't be shiny, or sticky, because it's a mineral formula. it's only 6 bucks too! try it in puckerberry. it's really worth it. i've been getting compliments like crazy since i started using this trick!

but i find the kabuki to be the best for mineral foundations, it buffs on and looks smoother and less flakey. What is the difference between a fat blush brush and a mineral foundation brush-can I use a blush brush for?
The mineral brushes that I've seen are dense and cover a large area when applying. I like to use blush brushes that are smaller and angled. They give better control so there isn't one big deposit of colour on the cheek.

You can use a blush brush for mineral foundation but I wouldn't use a mineral foundation brush for applying blush.

I would get a mineral brush if that's the product you're using as it holds the mineral makeup much better.
A flat brush will give you the best coverage while applying mineral foundation. An application brush gives you more of a medium coverage. I guess you could use a blush brush to apply the foundation, I am not sure what type of coverage you would get with it though, and you probably would want to use another brush for your blush. :)
The bristles in the foundation brush just pick up more because they're slicker and closer together so yea you can use a blush brush. It might get ruined but you can use it.

What color of blush should you wear if you have fair skin?

you should never go with a blush that is darker than the color that your cheeks turn after a hard workout. i have fair skin most of the year and the best color for me is a victoria's secret kind of pink applied in a very sheer manner. i don't like neutral blush on pale people, i think it washes them out. with pale skin you need a bit of color on your cheeks. i layer my blush with a bronzer as well so that the color looks ';sun-kissed';.What color of blush should you wear if you have fair skin?
it also depends on your hair, but i would use a light blushWhat color of blush should you wear if you have fair skin?
Technically you can wear whatever color blush you want to. However, I have found that most people who have fair skin look good in peach shades. Something like a pink peach is good to if you do not care for peach. The peach will help create a believable warmth to your skin unlike bronzers which can look overdone on fair skin. Try Peach Nuance by Estee Lauder or Pink Kiss by Estee Lauder or Orgasm by Nars. If you are looking for something less expensive check out these colors at the store and then try to find something similar at c.v.s.!
Stick with more of soft pinks, but not icy. It will make your cheeks look even more fair if their shiny. If you wear a mauve color, it should make then look more natural. Some clear lip gloss added to it, instead of a lip color, makes it look more simple and classy. Hope this helped!

    light, soft, nutral tones.
You should definitely wear blush with light skin because otherwise your skin could look too pale. Light pinks can look good in the winter or spring (more sweet than frosty) and peaches and roses (light bronzer if desired) can work well in summer and autum. Avoid cherry reds or other bright blushes because they are too bright for light skin. Browns and heavy bronzers are also too much. Try applying it to the apples of your cheeks, and not too much otherwise it could look like you are flushed or sunburnt. If you are using a light bronzer also you can apply it just under your cheekbones almost to your jawline before applying the pinker blush to the apples of your cheeks. To balance it out, you can dust a tiny HINT of blush (or bronzer) on your forehead and nose. Make sure you use a big, airy brush to create a soft and natural look. Smaller brushes can create uneven spots of color and do not blend well. This will bring color to your face yet still look natural and boast your natural skin color.

What color blush goes good with brown color eyeshadows?
You don't match your blush to your eyeshadow. You have to match your blush to your face coloring. Use the color that your cheeks are when you're flushed.
You need to match the blush to your skin tone. It should be subtle and close to your natural color. Then you can wear whatever eyeshadow you want.
It really depends what color your complexion is, not what color eyeshadow your wearing.

If you have a lighter complexion, use cool colors.

Best color blush and lip-stick for olive skin tones that make skin lighter?

I was wondering if it is ok to use pink, peach, and red shade lip stick or blush with my olive skin tone.

I am mostly looking for colors that will make my skin tone lighter.Best color blush and lip-stick for olive skin tones that make skin lighter?
I have an olive skin tone too!!!! Don't use peach makeup, use pink. If you want to use red blush, only use a small amount on your cheeks and blend it in. When you wear red lip stick, don't wear much makeup on the rest of your face.

Finding the right shades for olive skin tones can be tough but here are my favorite makeup brands:

-Sonia Kashuk (found at Target stores)

    -Almay (found at drugstores)

-Too faced (found at Sephora stores)

    -Revlon

    -Jane (found at drugstores)

    -Sometimes Physician's formula.

Stay away from these brands because their colors aren't for olive skin tones:

    -Maybeline New york

    -Max

  • Has anyone tried the Loreal Mineral foundation or blush?

Is it good coverage for the money, does it even out your complexion, is it cakey at all?Has anyone tried the Loreal Mineral foundation or blush?
I haven't specifically tried the Loreal mineral makeup, but I have tried a few other brands, and basically there are pros and cons. Pros are that it does cover really evenly -- no blotches; it's easy and fast to put on; it blends really beautifully. It's not cakey at all -- quite the opposite. And it feels nice on -- it isn't heavy or oily like some foundations.

On the other hand, because it's so light, it doesn't cover as well as other foundations, so if you have blemishes you want to hide, it might not be for you. The thing that drove me crazy was that it was a MESS! The containers are forever leaking a powdery film over everything else in your makeup bag, especially if you're on the go a lot. It also gets all over your sink/dresser/wherever you apply your makeup, so you can't just throw it in your purse and put it on in the car. And of course, it's wicked expensive.

My advice is to buy a foundation and try it (or ask a friend if you can try hers). You may love it; you may not.

Hope that was helpful.Has anyone tried the Loreal Mineral foundation or blush?
I've tried both, I still have the mostly intact blush sitting on my make up counter. I would say spend your money on Physicians Formula if you're looking for a good ';drugstore'; brand. The Loreal foundation didn't go on smoothly and didn't look natural, the blush wasn't smooth either and didn't have the nice blendable quality that mineral make up usually has.
yes, it is amazing. It has many shades, natural, and pretty light. I would sujest it to someone who wanted to have a clear face, but would not worry that everyone knows they are wearing it, due to the thikness. i would try Bare Minerals or Bare Essentials or Essential Minerals. i forget which one its called. It comes in a bottle and a powder pot. :)
i found it a little cakey and not too natural looking, but i have bad skin which could be a factor. If you do not have bad acne i strongly recommend it.

it did not stay on as long as i would have liked but then again i have oily skin
well i like it its pretty good for mineral makeup.
I REALLY LIKE IT WORKS GREAT.........
    never heard of them

What do you think of the MAC Mineralize Blush Duos?

Lately I've been meaning to pick up Hot Planet. My kind of color I just love it. I think it would be a nice summer color but I'm not too sure. What do you think of the duos? What do you think of the MAC Mineralize Blush Duos?
It depends on what color you want...you should probably ask the MA what would look best on you because I picked up moon river and it barely shows up on my skin however the texture is wonderful and it works as a great highlight! What do you think of the MAC Mineralize Blush Duos?
I love Hot Planet! Its a great texture and I love the luminous glow the mineralized blush has! great pick!

How and with which product do I accomplish that rosy look by putting blush?

Benefit recently came out with a new product called Posietint, it's a light pink gel-like liquid that you apply to the apples of your cheeks to give them a soft subtle glow. The formulation allows you the time to blend the product properly onto your skin, giving you a really natural look. How and with which product do I accomplish that rosy look by putting blush?
You need to pick a good colour - one that is close to your natural colour when you blush or have been running.

If you are using a powder blush, apply with a blusher brush starting at the apples of your cheeks and working back towards the temples. Use a circular motion and make sure you blend in well, this should look natural - not stripy! With blush is easier to put more on than take off so go easy with the colour.

Otherwise you can use a cream blusher, these are easier to blend in with (clean!) fingers - in the same area.

You can also find cheek stains which are good for that rosy glow - they are very red but you need only a small amount. You need to work quickly before it dries and you will always need to clean it off your hands afterwards as it does stain. Examples of these are Benefit - Benetint or Origins - Pinch your Cheeks. How and with which product do I accomplish that rosy look by putting blush?
powder (that i use): revlon powder blush

how: smile, and use the fan brush 2 lightly apply blush to the apples of ur cheeks by sweeping from ur cheeks to the outer edge of ur face where the fixed point of the jaw is.

cream/liquid (that i use): revlon touch pad blush (sadly, only available in hong kong)

how: smile, just tap the spongey thing (in ur case, the cream thing) n apply to the apples of ur cheeks
well first of all you need to know your natural blush color..for eg...after a workout..or you could jsut lightly pinch your cheeks...then you need to get a similar shade..but whats imp is the brush ..specifically you need to get a blush brush if your using powder blush..but what i owuld honestly suggest since you want a natural color..go in for mousse (maybelline has wonderful colors in bronze and pink!) and apply to the apples of cheeks (smile n youll know) and the best part about mousse is that you can keep applying it till you achieve the right intensity! and it looks so natural n smooth!
just pick out any kind of blush (but make sure it matches ur skin tone) and sweep the brush across ur cheekbones (u can see ur cheek bones when u smile... if that helps) then sorta bring it all the way back to the edge of ur face and reapply as much as u want to add more color. but try not to put to much on or it will look clown-ish.

    hope this helped! :D

How do i remove odor from my blush brush?

my dog got a hold of my brush so when i washed it it had a gross odor! how do i take it off? its a good brush! How do i remove odor from my blush brush?
I have a lot of high-end make-up brushes and what I've found that works best without costing an arm and a leg is J%26amp;J Baby Shampoo. I place a small amount in a small bowl, add water, and swish my brushes around until there is a lather, then run the bristles across the rim to help push out any deep down color.

Then rinse with tepid water until the water runs clear. Repeat if necessary. Lay it flat to dry

This should clean your brush thoroughly and it should have NO odor once it dries. How do i remove odor from my blush brush?
I assume the brush is cheap unless it is Channel or DG product, i say get a new one
time to get a new one
What does your dog lick, besides your face? yeah, his butt. So picture this: re-using that brush would be like smearing blush on your dog's backside and having him fart in your face-EEW! Replace the brush ASAP! there are so many germs that are embedded in it that human's can get extremely sick from, and I don't think that you want to be rubbing them all over your face, do you?
    get a new one
Wash again in shampoo, rinse often and on last rinse add a Tbsp. of hair conditioner to soften! Thank your dog as it should be done at least once a week!
    buy the mac cleanser

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

i have it n it works good for my mac brushes but since it as a bad order u shoulkd put more liquid then water
wash it with a gentle facial cleanser and let it airdry.
Just wash it lightly in water
I think it would be best to buy a new one there not that expensive and you don't know what germs are on it now

i wouldn't put it on my face if i were you
You can wash the brush with woollite and dry it in a towel or with the blower.

Is it true that white women blush during good sex?

Is it a dead sign that she is getting pleased and not faking it or what?

She said I always make her orgasm but can a women orgasm EVERYTIME?Is it true that white women blush during good sex?
The flushing of the chest, neck and face CAN be an indicator of orgasm, or it could just be an indicator of physical exertion.

As for orgasming every single time....well, while POSSIBLE, it is highly improbable. MOST of the time would be more realistic. Is it true that white women blush during good sex?
Ok, first yes ALL women and men have a sexual flush no matter what color. It is the blood rushing. It is a sign of arousal not orgasm. You will not notice it if you are in the heat of the moment and it fades shortly after you finish. Yes wome can come every time, but probably do not. However for us it is not always about coming sometimes the pleaseure without the orgasm is just as nice.
All women get a ';flushed'; when they are about to oragasm, but most of the time you dont notice it
Some do, yes. And most women get a flush of redness upwards from their chest and on their necks when seriously aroused, or following climax.
    no they dont
When many women get aroused they get a dark redness on their neck, chest and face - many call it the ';sex flush';. It happens to all races of women, but it's more apparent on lighter-skinned women.

If your girl is getting a red flush that is darkest right at the base of her throat, then you are turning her on. It's not necessarily an every-time thing, though, so if she doesn't get it then it doesn't necessarily mean she's not enjoying herself.

As for orgasming every time - yes, it's possible.
Yes, it's true. Maybe not every time, but we do flush.

And a woman can orgasm every time if she's into it

and the guy makes her feel good.
what are you talking about? can someone pliz help me.
Yes, a woman can orgasm every time. I know I get kinda flushed (red) during sex sometimes.

You must be doing a good job.
    NO
    maybe, maybe not
Women also blush when they're hot, overexerted, embarrassed...it's not a giveaway that she orgasmed.

But yes, an orgasm every time IS possible.
I don't know about that, but they sure like clawing you're back apart while they cry out!
Yes they can orgasm every time. But most woman find it hard to orgasm during vaginal stimulation. If she is getting clitoral stimulation, then she probably is orgasming. But it's not true that they blush (like embarrased), she could be flushed or just be really hot.
A woman is only going to blush during sex if she's embarassed. She can be FLUSHED (virtually all skin on the face/neck/chest turns red) if it's really intense. This is almost always accompanied by sweat.

  • Is it love or just a big crush, that I start to blush, get butterflies, and smile when I think of her?

Sometimes I catch myself daydreaming of her and smiling and being so happy. My friend says it's just a crush that will fade. What do you think? Thank you.Is it love or just a big crush, that I start to blush, get butterflies, and smile when I think of her?
..... it is love that has hit your heart so tenderly,

keep it up securely. Is it love or just a big crush, that I start to blush, get butterflies, and smile when I think of her?
It sounds like a crush to me. Love is what's left after all the butterflies and the newness fades. If you haven't been together at least 6 months to a year, then probably a crush.

That doesn't mean it's not worth pursuing and can't become love. If you really think she's the right person for you then do something about it!
I have one like that as well. I don't know either. I see it as a crush, but its all the things that I picture her do that makes me fall in love with her. I think it could be both actually.
    It's a crush :]

Once you start hanging out with her and maybe even start dating the butterflies and such will fade and it will turn into love.

    you are crushing and hard!!

I was there myself a few days ago and it faded. Although I did notice the smile growing and the butterflies return when I saw his name on my caller ID.

    Enjoy your crush!
    Probably indigestion.

Does she also like you? If you don't know, get to know her and see if she also likes you!
After you bang her for a while it will go away. But I'll be damned if that isn't the greatest feeling in the world.
Are you a girl who likes a girl? Cause you sound kinda gay...
    I think it's love. But that's me.
I say you have a HUGE crush on her
It's a crush, but it can grow into love :)

How do I get a natural blush?

YOu know how some girls have a natural blush meaning they don't need to apply blush on their cheeks but it looks like they have makeup on. How do I get that? How do I get a natural blush?
PINCH YO CHEEKS How do I get a natural blush?
People are born with it. They are a minority though. They have thin skin and as a result, the blood vessels in their faces show through. This is the same reason men do not blush as much as women, men have generally thicker skin (literally).

If you do not have skin as thin, there is nothing you can do to achieve that. There are thousands of products that can help u fake it. And that is the wonders of cosmetics :)

I'll recommend Benefits Poisetint. Its a stain that gives you natural-looking pink cheeks. its not a powder so it will not rub off. I guess this is the closest to 'natural' u can get.
If you don't want to pinch your cheeks all day, use a blush. To get the natural effect you need to use the right kind of brush. I recommend using mac 187 brush (or a similar copy brush). Because the fibres are spread out, it gives a natural look.
Well you can pinch your cheeks all day... or just get a blush that looks natural... fool eveyone. You cant ';get'; natural blush if you dont already have it!

Try cream blush or mouse blush by maybelinne. It blends better and looks way natural.

How do you apply a blush stick?

i have one but it looks weird when i put it on.How do you apply a blush stick?
Dab 2 or 3 small dots on your cheek (smile really big and put it around the spot that sticks out the most). Just rub in a circular motion to smooth. How do you apply a blush stick?
Swipe upwards and out on the apple of your cheeks, then blend. Trust me.
Smile and apply 3 small dots (using fingers) spreadingly on the apples of your cheeks %26amp; then blend.
use it as if u r using the blusher brush and apply the blusher after than rubb it with ur hands and cover the area u want...

    GOOD LUCK :)

What brandS of foundation, bronzer, blush, and lipstick should I use?

I just started using Proactiv. It says in the booklet to use NON-COMEDOGENIC and OIL-FREE make-up. It only mentions make-up that's from Proactiv. Now since their make-up is probally high price (which I DON'T want) what other brand of make-up should I use (for foundation, bronzer, blush, and lipstick)? Also, would Sheer Cover work? I know that my skin is VERY acne prone. What brandS of foundation, bronzer, blush, and lipstick should I use?
find a mineral foundation. cheaper brands have started making them, like loreal and revlon.

minerals are better for your skinWhat brandS of foundation, bronzer, blush, and lipstick should I use?
the majority of clinique's cosmetics are oil free and non acnegenic which is pretty much the same thing as comedogenic. Report Abuse

I believe a lot of the products by Physician's Formula are good for skin that can be sensitive. They also just came out with a line of organic make-up. Not as cheap as say CoverGirl but not as expensive as BareMinerals or Proactiv's stuff.
Anything that is oil-free and non-comedogenic. On the same token, avoid using makeup that has anti-acne ingredients in it because you are over using those ingredients (also included in you skin care) and can make breakouts worse because your skin will produce more sebum to compensate for the drying properties of all the cosmetics.

Actually, the best suggestion is to keep the same brand makeup and skin care because they are formulated to be used together so the ingredients don't overlap.
non-comedogenic means it wont clog pores leading to acne, and oil free means the product doesn't contain any oils that will make you break out. you should be using products that are recommended by your dermatologist, not by commercials etc. derms know best. the best one so far is Dormer Laboratories Hypo-allergenic, non=comedogenic, hypo-irritant cosmetics. they are the safest to use and are recommened and used by derms.

  • Is it normal to blush everytime someone stares at me even if im not attracted to them?

I hate it when this happens because i dont know how to control it. Can anyone help?Is it normal to blush everytime someone stares at me even if im not attracted to them?
Take it in in positive way instead of hating it.Because you have something special which attracts others vision. This is a good sign so do not spoil it by showing your aversion on them.Try to accept their look so that you are fulfilling their satisfaction. And you too not going to lose anything because of that!

Think in such a way that if you look at somebody and he didn't like your look, what will be your feeling then?

    So, its all happens!

    Don't worry and be happy.

Life is like that only.Is it normal to blush everytime someone stares at me even if im not attracted to them?
it is normal u r shy

only way to get over it is to get used to it
Its normal yes,(a friend does) but it LOOKS LIKE you are attracted to them!!
umm maybe because you are trying to be nice it happeneds to me i just dont look at them because then they will think you like them
    that is involntary reaction
My reaction is to bow my head and try not to notice, but then, I can always ';feel'; their eyes on me. I've found that being bold and staring back helps. Of course, I have a very menacing glare so people probably think I'm crazy.

How to apply both blush and bronzer?

    How would you do it?

And keep in mind the bronzer is a light bronzer so it makes my face glow without being too dark, and the blush is also in a natural peachy pink shade. I want the look to be somewhat natural. How to apply both blush and bronzer?
A trick I have seen makeup artists use when applying bronzer is to make two ';#3's'; on your face, one on the left side and the other on the right. You would start at the top of your eyebrow. You could apply a little bit of blush directly on the apple of the cheek. It makes for a nice contrast and looks quite natural. A lot of companies even make blush/bronzer combinations for this reason. How to apply both blush and bronzer?
if it is a liquid (gel) bronzer just put that on then put on the blush on top. if it is a powder bronzer, apply lotion then the bronzer then the blush
Use the bronzer around the perimeter of the face. Then bring it onto the cheekbones to accentuate the face an along the nose. Then use the blush on the apple of the cheeks. Just smile and place it on the cheeks and blend towards the ears.

You would be surprised at the stains that baby wipes can bring out. Give it a try.:)My daughter spilled powder blush on my car seat. How can I remove the stain?
I would try using a shop vac to get as much out as you can and I bought some upholstery cleaner for our cars and that worked pretty good because my children are always spilling something in one of the cars.

How can I put blush on without getting dry skin under my eyes?

cucumbers. Works everytime. How can I put blush on without getting dry skin under my eyes?
BEFORE APPLYING ANY OF MY MAKEUP I ALWAYS ADD A THIN LAYER OF VASELINE TO MY ENTIRE FACE AFTER CLEANING IT WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL.

I THEN TAKE A CLEAN DRY TOWEL OR WASH CLOTH AND WIPE THE EXCESS VASELINE OFF,AFTERWARDS I APPLY MY MAKE UP.

NOT ONLY DOES IT KEEP MY DRY SKIN MOISTURIZED BUT IT KEEPS MY FACE FROM BREAKING OUT, I'VE GOT VERY SENSITIVE SKIN.How can I put blush on without getting dry skin under my eyes?
Don't put blush on! You are 10 years old and do not need makeup! What are children turning into these day!?!
use a moisterizer on your skin first
u can use cucumber or u can just move an ice cube over ur face before makeup it is suggested everytime u hav a makeup it gives ur makeup a fullness by not lettin the skin get oily or even dry...
Blush does not go under your eyes. It goes on your cheek bones. Maybe go to your local mall and have a makeover done.
First of all, blush does not go under your eyes. Maybe you could have a makeup lesson, i would suggest going to Ulta. Even if you know how to put on makeup it's fun to get yours done anyway.

    Use moisturizer.
    1. make sure you are only puttin it on your cheeks

    2. try using a cream blusher
rub a bunch of good face lotion into your face before you put on makeup, after washing your face

Where can i buy good quality makeup brushes for applying blush and concealor?

its ok if they are expensive, but they should last. Also could you guys also advice on how to take care if the brushes? Is it better to buy disposable onces?Where can i buy good quality makeup brushes for applying blush and concealor?
Clinque have very soft brushes for blush or powders. Also, Khol's brand Flirt((by Clinque)) have a nice set of brushes that last and apply nicely.

For concealors I use them triangle sponges, but never reuse them more than twice. They rip easily, and germs that can cuase pimples get into them. They're like 99 cent at Wal Mart.

No need to buy expesive things when the cheap stuff works best.Where can i buy good quality makeup brushes for applying blush and concealor?
Sephora.com they even do nice gift wrapping. even if its for your self still select gift wrapping just for the cool box!

  • What bronzer and blush do you recommend?

I am looking for a natural looking blush and a good bronzer. There are so many that is hard to choose which name brand and a affordable one to buy. any suggestions? thanks. What bronzer and blush do you recommend?
MAC, and Victoria's Secret has a good bronzer, but for the most natural look Physicians formulas. It's pretty cheap, you can find it at Walgreens, or CVS.What bronzer and blush do you recommend?
I use Mac blush called peachykeen, i love it!
i recommend bare minerals, it may be pricier, but the products last a very long time; i still use blushes, face-colors, eye shadows, and glimmers i bought years ago.all colors work on all skin tones. my favorite bronzer is warm radiance, my top pick in blush is joyous jennifer. try it out for yourself at any sephora, ulta, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it, before making a decision.
Things from Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals are great, because it's mineral powder that's ';so pure you can sleep in it,'; and also because it blends beautifully and looks natural, not cake-y. It's a bit pricey, but worth it, in my opinion. Nothing I've tried looks better.

    i use clinique bronzer %26amp; MAC blush calledd ';margin';
The Body Shop!!!!! They also have the best brushes for makeup
Ive heard that E.L.F bronzers and blushes are good. And theyre super affordable!! Just a dollar. You can buy online at http://eyeslipsface.com or at Target.
physician's formula. its abt $10 but it looks beautiful and is really good for ur skin. they have a huge variety too
BeneFit sells a product called 10. Its .35oz, $26. It is a light pink blush, and a bronzer in one box, and it can last a very long time. I absolutely love it!!! It has more than paid for itself. The bronzer is the perfect shade, and the blush has the right amount of shimmer to be pretty and not trashy.
i would recommend all the neutrogena products. There the best . I like that they also come in oil free b\c im prone to breakouts.

Does ice and blush really work to hide pimples?

I don't have them but i have aalways wondered if it worked.Does ice and blush really work to hide pimples?
Ice does help to reduce the swelling a little, but when I'm having a breakout or something, I try not to use blush because it seems to highlight the problem instead. If your pimples are red, try using a green makeup base to reduce the redness.Does ice and blush really work to hide pimples?
I should think not. I've never even heard that before, but blush would make the pimple stand out more.
No that does not work. The best thing to cover pimples is mineral makeup. It is almost as dry as pressed powder but all natural. It comes in compact %26amp; loose form. You can use it alone. If you need extra coverage, it is best to use a green base or sheer perfector (or cover) underneath to even out skin tone esp. if you have large pores. I have break outs %26amp; rosacea. It does wonders at hiding both. The mineral makeup is not oil based like most liquid makeup therefore, it does not aggravate pimples or help create new ones. Hope that helps.
i have tried it before and it doesnt work that good....

Which kind of blush should I use in winter?

I have typical combination skin during summer, but as winter comes, it becomes dry and acne-prone. I am using a powder blush but it keeps drying my cheeks (and the color does not suit me; I should make a wiser investment this time). I am thinking of trying Maybelline mousse blush, but I'm afraid it would clog pores (according to some reviews I've read). Can you give me any suggestion?Which kind of blush should I use in winter?
Do a little research and see if you can find another kind of cream or gel blush ... I know other brands make them (perhaps not many other drugstore brands though) but unfortunately I don't know the brands off the top of my head. I've also seen products called ';cheek tints'; or ';cheek and lip tints'; which are a sheer gel that can be used as a blush or lip color.

Or better yet, try mineral makeup. ';Real'; mineral makeup, not the drugstore stuff that just mixes minerals with traditional makeup ingredients. Mineral makeup is much healthier for your skin and is suitable for all skintypes. My personal favorite brand is Aromaleigh (www.aromaleigh.com) and they have a HUGE selection of blushes -- try the Pure Blush for a very sheer coverage, or Pure Rouge or Sonic Rocks for more color. Or do a Google search for ';mineral makeup'; -- there are a ton of brands out there today!

Since mineral makeup normally comes in a loose powder form, you can also mix it with moisturizer to create your own cream blush!

Also make sure you are using a moisturizer before applying mu, and perhaps again in the evening if your skin is really dry. Use a moisturizer labeled ';won't clog pores'; or ';noncomedogenic.'; Cetaphil moisturizing cream is excellent -- my dermatologist recommended it for my acne-prone skin, and it even helps reduce the very dry skin my husband gets from eczema, but it is VERY thick so you'll want to let it dry a while before you apply mu! I'm sure there are other brands you can try too.

Good luck!Which kind of blush should I use in winter?
    Light Reflect

Icy Reflect for Eyes, Lips, Cheeks

This unique all-in-one gel-textured makeup provides an icy effect that lights up the eyelids, cheeks and lips with versatile, mysterious tints. Its water-based texture moisturizes gently for a deliciously pearly makeup appearance鈥 flash of light!
I recommend a few things for this problem:

    - overall, the blush you should use is Clinique OR Neutrogena blush. it goes on light and smooth and gives you are pretty color.

    - to prevent your face from drying out, just in general since it is getting cold out, use any neutrogena face wash, preferably either the one with invigorating microbeads or the citrus one. they feel real good and moisturize your face without giving it an oily acne causing feel.

    - buy another face wash with sylicone acid or on-the-spot neutrogena pimple cream for when you get breakouts.

    - buy rosebud salve, it is great for everything. you can put it on dry skin anywhere, and it works great for little dry patches on your face. it also is great for lips and makes the natural red come out of them!

    - so go to CVS or a department store like Nordstroms' makeup section and buy Neutrogena blush or Clinque blush, they have great color variety's.
Try a mineral based blush in a cool pinkish color for winter rather than the bronze that is used in the summer. The mineral have mica which will reflect light and allow your skin to breath at the same time.
Make sure to use lots of moisturizer for your face :) I hate the moose blushes because they look really fake. Go to a cosmetics counter like clinique, and talk to a person there. Most of their products are hypo-allergenic and should be non-drying. I love the blush ';aglow'; because it looks natural on most skin types.
    use soft colours!
Try a cream as a moisturizer instead of a lotion. During the winter months I switch from a lotion to a cream. Try a mineral blush it wont clogs pores and looks great. Neutrogena has nice ones.

What is a really good affordable facial bronzer and blush?

I was thinking about getting blend n glow. What is a really good affordable facial bronzer and blush?
go with physicians formula, it is STUNNING, and it won't break the bank.

i don't know your budget, but going to sephora and asking them could help too :]What is a really good affordable facial bronzer and blush?
    Cover Girl Cheekers!

They offer many shades that can work on anyone, including bronzers. I paid roughly $6 for mine and they are available at Wal-Mart, and any drugstore. They look small but do last for some time. They blend nicely and last for the entire day. Don't worry about adding too much and getting ';clown cheeks';. This stuff gives a natural blush that is hard to over do!

Good luck on the blush and bronzer hunt!
    Nuetrogena Mineral Sheers.

    I love it!

Its like the expensive mineral bronzer you see on tv.

^^^this will helpDo you wear blush and bronzer at the same time?
i do. i apply my primer and foundation, and first i apply the bronzer to where the sun would naturally hit (cheeks-apples and hallows, nose forehead and chin) then i apply the blush on the apples of my cheeks only. if your bronzer is an orange hue, you might want to change the brand, bronzer shouldnt be orange it should be a brown bronze color. if youre wearing a low cut shirt applying bronzer to your colarbone and chest looks nice too.

    hope i helped.

I put on blush first, then a light touch of bronzer over it. If I use bronzer on it's own, it looks too orange on my skin, so I use a pink blush underneath
Neither. Bad for your skin. (:
i apply it over a soft pink blush

Any good blush for my skin tone?

I have a pretty even skin color but during the winter I get kinda pale. Can I have some advice about good blush product or cover up that'll blend really well with my skin tone to have a nice tanish skin tone, or a summer glow?Any good blush for my skin tone?
Sounds like a bronzer is just what you need. :)

There are a zillion out there to choose from so try to narrow the field by finding one that is lighter if you are fair or deeper if you have medium skin. Some really nice ones are Nars Laguna, Tarte Park Avenue Princess, Bobbi Brown bronzer/blush compact duo or Bourjois Delice de Poudre.

You can also use a mineral foundation a few shades deeper than your skintone and *lightly* brush it on with a fluffy brush. I've done this with a Bare Escentuals foundation and it came off extremely natural.

You'll need a brush for powder bronzers. You don't have to spend a lot of money; some of the drugstore brushes are pretty good! Essence of Beauty at CVS is excellent. Remember: the denser the bristle, the more bronzer powder that's going to be picked up. If you want a softer look then try a fluffy powder brush (like Sonia Kashuk at Target or Essence of Beauty) as a starting point and move up to a kabuki if you want more coverage/stronger color.Any good blush for my skin tone?
go to http://www.marykay.com/cfiedler on the left side is a link to a virtual makeover... put in your skin tone, eye color, lip size etc etc, and it will tell you the right colors for you along with how to put them on
i would use a light pink blush with true blend foundation. the true blend foundation is suppose to blend and kinda change to your skin tone, and with the light pink blush it would look so cute!
I always use bronzer during the winter to keep my face from looking too ghastly. I would try going to the Mac counter and checking out the blush called Fleur Peur if you're looking for bright. If not, the Natural Match stuff by loreal is great and is in walmart for about $20 less; they even have charts to help find the right color for you.
well i think a gold color would go good with a nice tan skin tone! or mabey some pink?!

Why do women hide their faces when they blush?

My girlfriend is really cute when she blushes, but when she does, she always hides her face. But even when I told her it was cute, she hid her face even more. What's the big deal? Why do women hide their faces when they blush?
    is a reflex man! lol

we feel ashamed when we blush so we hid - which makes it just a little worse lol but you know... instinct lol

we think we dont look too good with our faces bright red lolWhy do women hide their faces when they blush?
    Awww. Because we're embarrassed :)

Where can i get a great liquid blush?

I LOVE to watch the style channel and i see alot of make-up artist using liquid blushes on women now. Where can i get some that is awesome but not crazy expensive!? I want that natural rosey cheek look SO bad like the celebs!Where can i get a great liquid blush?
Great question! I've found the blush that most celebrity makeup artist use is:

Loreal Paris - Cashmere Perfect Blush

Comes in all shades and super easy to apply %26amp; very affordable. Available at all drugstore chains like CVS; KMart; Walgrens; etc.

Loreal Paris - Cashmere Perfect - Soft Powdercreame Makeup - A liquid make that is oh so soft and oh so appealing.

Again, this comes in all shades and very affordable. Available at all drugstore chains as above.

Both these two products blend perfectly...no experience needed...just be sure to place both products so they blend toward your hairline....and your on your way to looking just like the celebs!

Take care. PattiWhere can i get a great liquid blush?
Tarte (at Sephora) or Benefit. A bottle of liquid blush will last you a long time, so will probably cost you $20.
U said not expensive, but remember one thing in life, never skimp on your skin. Only buy the best U can afford. The most expensive liquid blush will cost U the most 25 dollars, and if it suits U , its worth it. I personally did not have good experience with liquid blushes, they seem appealing in pictures, but I had to return mine as I did not like the stain it was leaving on my fingers, and it was too runny, so I felt like I had no control over its application. I used Tarte, and a couple of others I dont remember. All from Sephora. They R a great place for make up.
    Two options:

Tarte cheekstains. They last forever. It is the original liquid blush, and really gives you that pretty flushed look.

Or, try a gel like Origins Pinch Your Cheeks. It's $10 at Macy's. It isn't a liquid, but really creates the same effect.
