How do you apply a blush stick?

i have one but it looks weird when i put it on.How do you apply a blush stick?
Dab 2 or 3 small dots on your cheek (smile really big and put it around the spot that sticks out the most). Just rub in a circular motion to smooth.How do you apply a blush stick?
Swipe upwards and out on the apple of your cheeks, then blend. Trust me.
Smile and apply 3 small dots (using fingers) spreadingly on the apples of your cheeks %26amp; then blend.
use it as if u r using the blusher brush and apply the blusher after than rubb it with ur hands and cover the area u want...
