I have a beautiful blue dress with silver diamonds on a pin in the middle of the dress and im wearing silver or clear heels. I want to know what colors to wear for makeup with the dress. Should i use more blue or use silver or even brown. I'd like to know what color lipstick, blush, eyeshadow and whatever else there is. Please help! What color eyeshadow(s), lipstick blush etc. goes good with a blue dress?
If your dress is blue stick with neutral colours you don't want your face to look like your dress you want the dress to pop as well as your face, so use some bronzer and some golden eyeshadow with a dark brown base, then both your dress and your face will glow. What color eyeshadow(s), lipstick blush etc. goes good with a blue dress?
I would do pinks - any shade that works well with your skin tone. Pick an area you want to accent - if it's your eyes for ex. then play them up more dramatic and put a light pink gloss on your lips.
Either blue shadow.
Or silverish shadow.
Pinkish lipstick goes best with blue
More nude color than pink. So I said pinkish.
I do not know your colors. Skin and all. Eyes too.
Sometimes, the eye shadow depends upon eye color.
Use an eye liner.
And I suppose you know the foundation will come first on the face. Then eye shadow.
Then the eye liner.
Finally the lipstick.
And get diamante/ zircon hanging earring or tops.
Even if you skip the eye shadow, you will look stunning with the dangling earrings

Where can I find blush that has spf and will stay on over sunscreen?
I have a hard time finding blush that will stay on my face over my sunscreen. I put on a lot to make sure it doesn't fade too quickly, but then later it's all gone and it's a pain for me to find time to re-apply. Would a bronzer look weird just on my cheeks if I chose that to wear?Where can I find blush that has spf and will stay on over sunscreen?
bronzer would probably look a little strange, but it depends on your skin tone
for me, when all else fails, Sephora is the best make-up place I knowWhere can I find blush that has spf and will stay on over sunscreen?
You will get the best results if when you are done washing your face, apply a high SPF lotion to your face and neck. This will protect you and get a nice moisture base for all of your makeup. Do not forget to carefully do the eye area when you apply your SPF. That is actually where you want the most protection.
Bronzer is probably the best thing to wear. You won't look silly just putting it on your cheeks, lots of us put it just there!! Lancomes new tropical mineral bronzer is amazing, check that out!! Also it has an SPF 10 in it.
use a face lotion with spf instead of sunscreen on your face. if it is on your skin well then your blush should be fine.
You should probably buy a primer.
So that it sticks on.
That, or get a light liquid foundation,
and it will be sure to stick on !

Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below.
Plum or wine tones generally work well on dark skin tones, but apply in moderation. Too much will look like bruises! For the evening, a light dusting of gold or a warm metallic pigment can look great too.
My favorite is Fashion Fair blush in Spice. Its difficult to find a blush for our skin tone that actually shows up. Fashion Fair makes the absolute best and it's not expensive. It has the pigment and consistency to make our skin glow. You can find it at any department store!
On darker women i love MAC sweet as cocoa or blunt which are both Brown shades for a day color and ambering rose, frankly scarlet or dollymix for a pretty pink
Well, since im 26 years old and a makeup artist, i think from what i hear, you should go to Sephora and ask them to demenstrate a type of blush from Bare Minerals that would suit your skin type. But i think that you would look best in a light pink blush that would give you some color in the cheeks. And look natural.
use a bronzing blush, it will make u glow. try it u'll love it

Eye Shadow:
You'll look best in pale pink, light to medium pinkish-brown and medium purple shades of eye shadow.

Your best lip look is clear gloss or a very sheer, pale gloss in a baby pink or peachey shade.

A glittery pink eye shadow all over lids combined with one to two coats of black mascara will look gorgeous for special evenings. Keep lips sheer and light with glittery clear or beige gloss
For eyeshadow:
a neutral color would like great on you.. Even a light pink would be good. Shimmer is also an option....
For eyeliner:
Gray, blue, or white would look good...
Blush:
A light pink color...

Can I use a blush brush to apply face powder?
Will that work good? I have a good quality brush that is easy to use, but is it alright? Can I use a blush brush to apply face powder?
Sure ...just dust the brush on a paper towel or something first to get all the blush out of it before you do your powder ...but it is fine ....
Hope this was helpful ~~~Can I use a blush brush to apply face powder?
yes you can. You might also want to treat yourself to a good set of brushes. Its a great investment. You can get a great set for around $50 and have them delivered right to your door FOR FREE!
You should try getting a kabuki brush. It's a dense, short brush that spreads out powder or minerals evenly. You can find them everywhere, and they're resuable as well. A blush brush might go everywhere.
Of course, just make sure all of the blush is off of it before you use it for face powder though.
yeah i like brushes alot more than the pads that come with powder, they work great.
Absolutely!

How do you apply Lip and Cheek Stain as a blush?
It's in like a nail polish kinda bottle with the same style brush but when i apply it, it literally stains the area i apply it to, so i find it impossible to blend.
Any help please?
It would be muchly appreciated =)
xo
P.How do you apply Lip and Cheek Stain as a blush?
you could buy a sponge that makeup artists use. It is a little triangle piece of sponge. You could get it a little wet and apply the stain onto that and dab it onto your cheek.
hope it works. =)How do you apply Lip and Cheek Stain as a blush?
Stains can be tricky to apply; they definitely require some practice. If your stain is not too liquidy or is more of a gel base you may want to apply it with a sponge or with your finger tips. Never use the nail polish looking brush on your face. The second that brush touches your face, you end up with streaking. It just doesn't work well.

How do I apply blush and bronzer?
I've heard of smiling huge and brushing the apples of your cheeks but that never seems to look right. How do I apply blush and bronzer?
Use a brush to apply both. I usually put the bronzer on first. I lightly dust my cheekbones and bring the brush all the way up to my temples. To even the color out, I get a very small amount of bronzer on my brush and dab the bridge of my nose and my forehead. If you want to add blush, do it the exact same way as you put the bronzer on your cheeks. How do I apply blush and bronzer?
for bronzer draw a big 3. from the center of the top of your forehead, round to your nose. and out again round to the center of your chin. I cant really explain it properly in words. but type in bronzer and 3 shape and sure will come up. Also bronze your nose too. For blusher, smile and focus main colour in apples, but stroke out towards your temples. Another look for blusher is to put in the hollow of your cheeks. This makes your cheekbones very prominent. To find hollows pout or do your fish face(!) and you will see where i mean. good luck!! maybe post a pic of your face :) answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
ok from like were the top of your ear is at... so wut u gonna do is put your cheeks in and you will see like a line their straight down u will aplly the blush or bronzer....and put it in a circle way...
also i wear bronzer as a blush
hope this works
Feel for your cheekbones and apply the bronzer on a brush back and forth from the apples right back to your ears, then apply a subtle amount of blush using the same technique

What is the best blush for oily skin so that it will hold longer?
Also i've tried several kinds of mineral blush and it never works. What is the best blush for oily skin so that it will hold longer?
i have oily skin, but,i use a matte cream blush. tarte cheek stain (: look it up. it rolls on,but not exactly as a cream.its hard to explain.its a lipstick texture.it blends easily and gives you a reall pretty rosy glow (: trust me.i wear it everyday and love it.What is the best blush for oily skin so that it will hold longer?
i know the girl said the make up for ever one but it is not MINERALISED! get the mineral vail. i also have oily skin and i use that one and it makes your skin feel so soft! and it last throughout the day! and for blush, go to sephora and get yourself the right color, because for darker skin you need a darker blush. for myself, i have extremely fair skin and i have smashbox blush which works perfect for me. it is a matter of trying! oh and at sephora you could also ask for samples:D
Heres a specific video on how to apply it to oily skin.
Sometimes, it doesnt matter what kind you wear, but how you put it on.
But, I have super oily skin too so I know what this problem is all about. You need to buy some blotting papers and keep them with you at your desk or in your purse. You can find some very inexpensive ones at my store on b-glowing.com. They are Papier Poudre and are only $3.00 for a packet. You'll want to blot every few hours that you feel you are getting shiney. These will leave a nice matte finish to your skin and the powder will look like you've just put fresh makeup on. The only problem is that your blush will fade away. I alway reapply a little blush if I feel like I'm losing too much of it.
I would highly recommend a mineral makeup for Blush. It's all natural and won't clog your pores. Neutrogena makes a Sheer Bronzer that you can use as a blush. It comes in in a portable push up brush so you won't need to carry more than one item along with you. Mineral makeup is natural and will not clog pores. If you want to invest more money than in a drugstore brand there are a lot of great mineral makeup brands out there that make Blushes. Bare Essentials, Susan Posnick, Sheer Coverage and more. If you look up any of these on the Internet you'll find them.
Hope this helps!
Powder blush is great for all skin types, but best for oily skin and anyone looking for long-lasting color. NARS Powder Blush Cheek Color is the best. http://www.keeplookingbusy.com/itemDetai鈥?/a>
I have oily skin too and I use make up forever's translucent powerder after I out on my foundation and it will absorb oil through out the day. So try applying a mineral blush after you use an oil absorbing powder.
nars blushes are good. or if you wish to use some other brand go for a blush that has light to medium coverage.

What are some ways you can make a girl blush really easily?
Hi,i think girls are REALLY cute when they smile and i love seeing my girlfriend blush, can you tell me anyways i can make her blush easily? What are some ways you can make a girl blush really easily?
embarrass her? tickle her sides, that always gets us goin' =]What are some ways you can make a girl blush really easily?
Girls blush a LOT when you pay them an unexpected compliment.
If she's already expecting a compliment from you,
it might not have the same effect.
But if you surprise her with an unexpected compliment,
things get awkward.
And when things get awkward, girls all ways blush.
I know it sounds weird but if you pinch her cheeks
in like a jokey way there's a 99% chance she'll blush. Haha
If she's with her friends tell an inside joke
that only you and her know what it means.
She'll feel really special and blush.
Or tease her about something.
My boyfriend does it to me all the time,
and it all ways makes me blush.
Make sure you don't go over board and start being mean. Lol.
Sorry it's so long. Heehee
Hope I helped. (:
tell her how beautiful she looks and how much she means to you. give her something she could wear like a ring or necklace or a bracelet. and she'll smile everytime she sees it because she'll think of you.
Go up to her one day and SINCERELY say,
'you look so beautiful today.'
THAT would make me blush. lol. But don't say hot,
pretty, cute, anything else besides beautiful.
See if she blushes then. ;)
Slap them.
No don't- but not all girls blush you know!
However, telling a funny joke (a tasteful one) may be sucessful or giving an honest compliment.
Hey you can flirt with her in front of her/your friends and see how it goes from there:)
Compliment her, write letters, confess something you have done for her, after all of those things touch her cheek...
Give her a really sincere compliment
Tell her her outfit looks nice
tell her shes the only one you want to be with
= ]
good luck
You should do things that make her smile and things that she gets really shy about.
try complimenting her a lot (but don't get overwhelming)
sayshe is pretty very classy makes me blush
Compliments always work on me... Not stupid obvious ones but ones you sincerely mean!
get he around a BIG group of hot guys and make them compliment her..

What color blush and lipstick do YOU wear with Green eyeshadow?
I dont know if I should wear a bronzy color blush or pink, and a pinkish lipstick or clear gloss?? What do YOU wear? What color blush and lipstick do YOU wear with Green eyeshadow?
bronzer instead of blush
and either really really light pink lipgloss
or clear lipglossWhat color blush and lipstick do YOU wear with Green eyeshadow?
i dont think it matters the color of the eye shadow. it depends on your coloring. first thing you need to find out is you are a warm or cool. warms usually wear muted colors or lots of reds browns oranges and yellows. cools wear bright colors like bright red, blue, fushia. and black and true white versus
brown and off white. you can usually have your colors done at the makeup counter of your local department store if not contact any amway, artistry representative in your area. they will determine your makeup colors as well as your clothing colors. hope this helps
Something natural (pink blush, nude or pink lip). If you're doing dramatic eyes always do understated everything else.
A pink sparkly lipgloss would look nice with green eyeshadow. I don't wear blush so I don't know.
I'd wear a nude lipstick, and a shimmery blush to play up the shadow.
Clear gloss
=]
i would wear very light pink or just clear gloss...
bronze cheeks
soft pink lips=]
for suree!
i don't wear makeup
i agree with andrea

What color blush should I wear for the fall?
I am trying out new makeup looks for the fall and I've narrowed it down to two. I'm pairing a plum blush with plum and brown eye shadows, or a more nutty/tan blush with green eye shadows. Sometimes I think the plum face is more spring, but I'm not sure. Are both faces good for the fall? Is one more everyday than the other? I like both looks, but am just trying to figure out when I should be wearing what. What color blush should I wear for the fall?
Fall: Nutty/Tan w/Orangy-Light Brown Shadows (More natural and sheer, and enjoy the fall in your fab makeup ) Winter: Rosyish Pink w/Ice Blue/Sky Blue Shadows (Go for a more dramatic look and get a feel for the cold) Spring: A Slightly Darker Tan w/Pink Shadows (Look pretty, natural, and a look more beautiful than the flowers surrounding you in Spring) Summer: Back again to Rosyish Pink, but this time with Gold and Shimmer Shadows (Match the sunset and look hot...in the HOT!)What color blush should I wear for the fall?
Those both sounds like good choices for the fall!
I would just wear them both, the plum with darker cloths, the tan with lighter cloths.
It really depends on your skin tone though. For me I would look better with the plum. ( if I wore makeup.)
I think the plum is a good look for fall as long as the plum is more toward the darker wine colors and not a bright purple color.

How to tell friend to tone down the blush?
Its insane, seriously. I can't stand it. Ive told her several times she looks good with no makeup, didnt work. Its killllling me. Help? How to tell friend to tone down the blush?
Tell her she looks absolutely beautiful wihout makeup, and the makeup makes her look less pretty. How to tell friend to tone down the blush?
tell her that her cheeks are already nice and rosy. she doesn't need to wear so much blush
';your cheeks look super pink today';
Get a cheek stain for her. Say that you found this great new product, it looks natural, and you dont need to use a lot of it....see if she gets the hint :)
Just tell her you think she'd look beautiful with less makeup.
If nothing works, well. . . it is her face so idk just let her be then.
Hah say woah! did you just come from a run?! If she asks why say your cheeks look REALLY flushed! Haha try to put it in as a joke but maybe it will make her think?
Start talking about makeup with her, what tips and tricks you think you could try. Then tell her, ';I think you'd look good with a little less blush, it'd make your pretty eyes stand out more!'; Or, you could say, ';What do you think of my makeup?'; and hope she asks you the same thing. Then you could say, ';I think you should wear a little less blush but otherwise it looks really good!';
Mine please?

If she's a good friend just tell her ';Honey, you look like a clown! Tone down the blush!!';. If she's not a good enough friend that you can say that....I guess don't say anything.
The very BEST WAY!
look up videos on how to do fantastic skin makeup, and practice on yourself.
next time you see her, do her makeup for her. don't use a lot of blush. hype up her eyes so that it takes away the need for blush.
she'll love the way she looks.
encourage her to wear her makeup like that every day!
if she isn't the sensitive type, just tell her that it sucks. she'll appreciate your input.
Just be honest and straightfoward.
What's the point of hinting?
If i were you i would say ';______ you wear alot of blush and honestly i don't even think you need it at all, you look beautiful without any makeup. But seriously, you need to wear less blush';
JUST KEEP ASKING HER WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HER FACE AND SHE'LL GET IT
steal her current blush and replace it with a different color
OMG HAHA i had the SAME prob!!!!! too funny. my friend was going crazy with the blush so heres wat i did: in the middle of the school day get one of ur other friends 2 casualy ask her if she is sunburned or something. then later on if ur alone with her say ';i told u, u look great with little or no blush! and ur really pretty but it realllyyyy does look like ur sunburned!'; because u said u have tried 2 tell her she looks great with no makeup many times before? well if u say it again she will just get annoyed. but anyway, that worked for me and give it a try, good luck! :)
Just tell her the truth. She'll appreciate it later. Make sure to start with something like ';Okay, I'm telling you this as your friend. No offence, but...'; Then tell her how beautiful she is and all that.
Casually say ';OH are you feeling ok?? You look really flushed (sick)'; then say oh maybe it's just your blush after she says no.

How to match your own foundation and blush?
I buy my makeup at different places. I want to learn to find the correct colors. So what is the quickest way to find my sade. And alot of the blushes I see is darker because I am African American. And I am no where near other makeup, usually their to light and make me look ashy. How to match your own foundation and blush?
I am a redhead and go to Prescriptives to get my foundation because they make it just for me. It is hard to find my tones in the stores because I have very pink skin and store foundations are too dark and make me look yellow. As for blush, it shouldn't be more than a shade or two darker than your skin and always match your blush to your lips. How to match your own foundation and blush?
if you buy drugstore makeup, first of all, DO NOT TEST IT ON YOU HANDS it wont be even close to your shade. if foundation makes you look ashy make sure to pick a darker color than you usually would. personally i bought a foundation that is one shade lighter and a darker one and mixed it up in a container because i could not find my shade either.
you can try to blend it more too because that might be the reason that even if you find the right shade you will look ashy. as for the blush, go to the store, get in front of the mirror, pinch your cheeks, and find a blush with similar colorcurly hair

Is it okay to use a brush blush for applying powder?
I don't own a foundation brush so i'm wondering is it okay to just use my blush brush to apply loose powder over my face?
Will it work just as good? Is it okay to use a brush blush for applying powder?
yea it is dont worry i do that from time to time go for itIs it okay to use a brush blush for applying powder?
yes it is,but it may deliver more make up to one spot. use a plain cotton ball, %26amp; easily go over your face after it. Or use a cotton ball period %26amp; then get it %26amp; pull it outwards, stretching it %26amp; just lightly go over it, removing any excess from off your face.
Good brushes are available at Avon %26amp; thru Mark at Avon at a reasonable price.

Yeah, that'll be fine.

How do I put on foundation and blush and make it glow?
Ohk, I always put on foundation and when i do, it makes me look really dry and stuff, so i put blush on to make it look a little prettier, but my mom tells me i look like a baby doll and it doesn't look that great and i need to make it blend more. And i would ask my mom, but she is really pretty and has no pimples or anything so all she uses is tons of mascara. And that's all she's used her whole life, so she doesn't have any tips on make up. And suggestions? How do I put on foundation and blush and make it glow?
Make sure you are washing your face everyday.... Then you should use a mineral foundation not a liquid iwould try Arbonne mineral foundation, and then instead of blush use the Arbonne Bronzer it looks sunkissed. Instead on painted on. If you would like to know more let me know. How do I put on foundation and blush and make it glow?
use the RIGHT kind of makeup or jsut don't wear any at all or else people will think you're 5.
Nobody can really break it down and tell you exactly what to do. You can go to a beauty counter at Macys or other high end department stores and they can show you how to apply your makeup correctly and even show you the right colors.

How do i get a powdered blush stain out of white carpet?
I tried oxiclean but it did not work and made the stain bigger. Help! How do i get a powdered blush stain out of white carpet?
Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck! How do i get a powdered blush stain out of white carpet?
There is a carpet cleaner you can buy at Lowe's hardware store called ';Folex';. It is the best cleaner I have come across - removes just about everything. Spray it on and use one of those Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads to scrub with.
Perhaps steaming it out will help.
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray directly on stain, let it sit for several minutes, and clean wit a brush or sponge using warm soapy water. For a heavy duty carpet cleaner, mix 1/4 cup each of salt, borax, and vinegar. Rub paste into carpet, leave for few hours. Vacuum.

How do you get rid of whiteheads that you gotten from wearing blush and bronzer?
Ive always had really good skin but ever since ive started to wear blush and bronzer ive begun to break out in little whiteheads near my nose and on cheeks how do i get rid of them they are ruining my lifeHow do you get rid of whiteheads that you gotten from wearing blush and bronzer?
white heads are harder to get rid of than any other pimple, and also the most painfull. I guess they come from an accumulation of excess oil, and if you pop them, they hurt like heck. You cant get rid of them because even with benzoil peroxide and the rest, the oil still seeps through your pores, and creates more white heads. The only thing that will work is stop using the stuff you are using. Also, to make them less visible, pop them, better to have flat red pimples, than big stand out white-yellow nasty pimples. idk hope i helpedHow do you get rid of whiteheads that you gotten from wearing blush and bronzer?

How do you put on blush what does it meen by putting bronzer/highliter above the cheek bone?
i dont understand when they say put the highlighter/bronzer above the cheek bone and then putting the blush...i want to look like celebirtys but its confusing how they explain it please help!!!!How do you put on blush what does it meen by putting bronzer/highliter above the cheek bone?
well you want to even you skin tone out with cover up, then you want to ur bronzer to give your skin a tint just use a blush brush to aply and then you should take the blush and start at your check and bring back bring very close to hair line then lightly VERY LIGHTLY sorry i ahve to stress lightly go over you for head chin and nose with the blush depending on your age use a light color but somthing that will stand out and make you look mature and define you chek bonesHow do you put on blush what does it meen by putting bronzer/highliter above the cheek bone?
firstly, take a bronzer and dust it from just under/on your cheekbone in a sweeping motion up to your ear, blend a little as this can be harsh.
Next, smile and take a blusher of your choice to put over the apples of your cheeks.
Finally a highlighter can be used in places which could naturally catch the light for example, from under your brows to just under your eyes, above the cheekbones.
overall, basically you should have your bronzer furthest from the eye, the blush a little further up and the highlighter right up above the cheekbone.
to even things out, after each application take whats left on your brush and sweep it across your forehead to balance things.
tip: a wide nose can be fixed with a stripe of highlighter down the centre from between the brows to the tip of the nose.

What is a good color blush that is in the plum/pink family for someone with redness in their skin?
I have a blush that is supposed be a plum color but is way to red on my cheeks. People keep asking me if I am feeling well or have fever. What tone of blush is good for a fair skinned person with redness in their skin? I really don't like peach/orange blush on me. Thanks for your help. What is a good color blush that is in the plum/pink family for someone with redness in their skin?
you sound to be cool toned.
which means obviously you should be staying away from peach! and orange.
the best type of blush for you would be something brownish in color like a bronzer, since you already have the pink in your skin.
Techniques you can use to find your natural blush color:
Bend down and touch your toes with your fingers for two minutes and then stand back up. (You may need to climb a flight of stairs if this doesn't work). The color of your cheeks that is there at this moment is the right blush color for your face.
Look to see what color your cheeks look like after you have been out in the cold or exercising at the gym.
To find your natural blush color you can also pinch your cheeks and wait for a few seconds.
Another helpful way to find the right blush color for your skin tone is to match it with your current lip color. If you favor pink tones for your lips, it鈥檚 likely that a pink blush color will also work well on your cheeks.
If you look best in these fashion colors: blue, green, aqua, plum, lavender, and other cool water tones, then you should choose a blush in cool tones of Crimson, Plum, Wine, Pastel Pink, Blue-Red, TerraCotta, Peach, or Rose.
If you look best in these fashion colors: orange, pink, peach, red, olive-green, and othewarm earth tones, then you should choose a blush in warm tones of Coral, Bronze, Brown, Warm Red, or Hot Pink. What is a good color blush that is in the plum/pink family for someone with redness in their skin?

What type of bronzer and blush are good on asians?
I heard M.A.C stuff were really good. what other brands are good types of blush and bronzer? What type of bronzer and blush are good on asians?
Well, I'm guessing you like high end stuff like me, since you like MAC. Personally, I love MAC. The colors are gorgeous! Aren't they?
However, for blush, the best in the entire industry is NARS blushes. Try deep throat or orgasm which are very flattering on many skintones. You can find them at Sephora and Nordstrom for $25. It's a little expensive but the container is huge and it's so pigmented that you only need a little to get glowy cheeks!!!
Bronzer is hard to find. A good one I mean.
I think that Benefit Hoola Bronzer is the best. It's $28 at any Benefit Counter in Macy's or at Sephora. The reason it's so good is that it's matte. Meaning there is no shimmer! Shimmery bronzer can cause your face to look oily and cast an unflattering figure upon on your face!!
Trust me, these are very good. The price is a little uncomfortable but, they are trul gems in my makeup stash. They are use almost every day so invest in them! What type of bronzer and blush are good on asians?
I'm half-Japanese (but more to the caucasian side) but I find that any blush with a yellow undertone such as peach hued blushes flatter. Stay away from anything that has ';cool'; or blue undertones such as icy pinks. Personally I'd stick with a bronzer, not a blush as they tend to look a little more natural on asians. Makes that I'd reccomend are Two Faced, Benefit and Nars; they all have a really good colour selection.

How do you apply cream blush?
I want to wear foundation, cream blush, and translucent powder. In what order do I apply them. Logically I would think foundation first, then cream blush, then powder over everything. Is that correct? How do you apply cream blush?
Foundation - Blush - Powder. Why? Because foundation is liquid / cream, same as the blush, so they can blend well. applying the powder will be the last. can you imagine applying powder first then liquid/creamy foundation? lol..try it. then you will know how it will look like if you apply powder first then the creamy blush. =) good luck! How do you apply cream blush?
You would do foundation, then translucent poweder, and then cream blush. If you apply the foundation and then the powder, the foundation holds the powder on longer and if you were to cover up the cream blush with the powder that would be defeating the purpose of blush so just do it in that order and your face will look summer ready! :)
After foundation, apply cream blush by stippling lightly on the apples of the cheeks and along the cheekbones. Blend with a sponge to a natural flush. Follow with a light dusting of translucent powder to set the cream to last all day.
well personaly i dont wear powder it tends to make your makeup look caked on. but i would do foundation, powder than the blush.. but im not sure sense i only wear foundation and blush..not powder..goodluck..
Hmmm... Well I don't know. I would probably do foundation, powder, blush, but I'm not really sure because I use all powdery products and no liquid or cream.
Go to youtube and search for it..
it will be tutorials showing EXACTLY what to do..

Some people say ON the cheekbone (but surely that makes the cheekbone look even smaller?) some people say UNDER. I'm a bit confused which part of the cheek it's actually meant to go? Also, what is highlighter and how is it used? What part of the cheek are you actually meant to put blush/bronzer?
I always put bronzer somewhat under my cheekbone. When I smile there'll be a little shadow from the cheekbone and that is were I put the bronzer to emphasize it. I then put lightening blush to the apples of my cheeks to brighten the face. What part of the cheek are you actually meant to put blush/bronzer?
I've heard you apply in the apples of your cheeks..
The cheekbone never under as it makes your face look droopy.
You can apply highlighter a bit below but thats it.
you apply blusher to the cheekbone, if you smile it gives you a guide line to aplly, with bronzer you just apply a stroke under your cheekbone to create a shadow
On the cheekbone, sort of the top of the cheek
smile in the mirror you see those two things that pop out under your eyes those are your apples dab some on both bronzer goes on your forehead, cheeks, chin and the long part of your nose and then you blend it with your face

Why do leftist women go weak in the knees and blush when Rush speaks?
They just can't stop talking about him.
Is it the masculinity they don't find in artsy liberal men? Is it because he became very successful on his own and didn't rely on government assistance?
Is it because he smokes cigars and it reminds them of Clinton? Trying to get a feel for liberal womens fascination with Rush. Why do leftist women go weak in the knees and blush when Rush speaks?
Because when they go to the beach they can gather around him and stay in the shade. Why do leftist women go weak in the knees and blush when Rush speaks?
Because his stench is generally overpowering....it's not blushing....it's suffocation.

What color eyeshadows go good with pink lipstick and pink blush?
I have fair skin, just put on some shimmery pink blush and frosty pink lipstick..and i don't know what color eyeshadow to pair with it. What colors are good besides pink eyeshadow? What color eyeshadows go good with pink lipstick and pink blush?
Chocolate Brown would be pretty. What color eyeshadows go good with pink lipstick and pink blush?
You don't wanna have TOO much pink on you, otherwise it doesn't look too pretty.
if you already have frosty pink lipstick then try using something darker for eyeshadow. I don't think green or purple are gonna do the trick.
What you can do is mix it a little.
Do frosty pink and then half of it with black eye shadow.
Once you have that, get the little brush or try a q-tip and brush them together. Mixing them together makes it look more natural.
Pink eyeshadow would be overkill. Too much pink. Something to offset all of that pink, like grey or taupe. And it should be matte also. You already have more shine than you need. I think just one shiney or frosty color is enough, or else you will look like a Christmas tree.
Silver Gold Light Browns Bronze you could even do an extreme and do a black or dark gray and go for the smokey look
Id stay away from blues or purples or anything thats too over powering. I would just try different eyeshadows and find one thats works for you.
Good Luck!!
ya don't (just dont) go with pink eyeshadow. I'd say goldy-browns, browns and neutrals. You may add a little blue liner along the bottom lashes.. but ya more neutrals. don't go with anything bright! Especially since your blush and lipstick stands out.
HI,I,got the same skin.
I,would go with the SUMMER colors. The dark ones make you look to dark
on the skin.I,use a color like natural also goes perfect.

its an amazing makeup look that will match well with your blush and lipstick.
Hope I helped!
well since you are going with such light colors why not try a darker color to add a 'dramatic' effect. You could try a smoky eye effect with black.
none
fair skin with pink lipstick with a tiny bit of liquid eyeliner would look amazing
if you cover your face with too much make up it just takes the boldness of the lip stick away
why so much makeup?
if its homecoming, then a real light frosty pink with a white barely there shimmer on top. otherwise, don't wear any at all.
i would say earthy tones..like browns and golds..or whites and creams and stuff....maybe even like gray for a smoky eye....not blue and green and bright stuff like that...it would look trashy and cheap...
Purple shades would go well, you could also try a bronze its a great fall color :)
I wouldn't do pink. That would just be too much pink all over. Try a silver or brown color.
Definitely neutral shades, like beige or light browns
A light orange (coral), a beige or brown. If you go pink just don't go too red. Good luck!
Brown goes with everything or maybe a light purple
whoahh you are way off... what color are your eyes? this is what you decide your eye shadow on....
Lavender looks good with blue eyes..
what color is the outfit?
Try a bronze or light brown color. I love pink and brown together.
A deep blue will add a nice contrast. Not light to the point of being baby blue, though.
taupe,brown. earth colors.
i think a frostyish pink or silver would look nice
i say silver or purple not pink
ooh deep black or monster blood green! trust me, i'm a PROFESSIONAL
purples or greens.
earth tones. browns,
i kno it sounds gross but try it!!! - sea green is wiked with pink!!!

stick with the browns
you should try like a bright yellow or orange
bright blue or purple
green or blue

How do I apply blush to make my face look more narrow?
I have light skin by the way, thanks!!
This is random, but at hollister co., do they have a clearence RACK or are the sale items all over the store? How do I apply blush to make my face look more narrow?
suck your cheeks in like a fish and use a firm brush to take your blush from the apple of your cheeks up by your hair line. Do this lightly so you don't look like a clown and it will high light your cheek bones. How do I apply blush to make my face look more narrow?
Here's a link to a chart on Make Up Forever's website that shows how to place blush based on face shape. It helps a whole lot and really does a whole lot for making your face look more narrow.

apply a very light pink, or pale peach blush to the apples of your cheeks(smile to find them) and blend outwards toward your temple.
try not to make it too dramatic or dark, with fair skin, it can make you look like a doll.
either a light pink or peachy color for fair skin ... apply it right under cheekbones it really helps slim the face and accentuate cheekbones!

Why do some people blush when their sweaty?
I never blushed even once in my life. I thought people blush when their embarrassed. But all my friends blush when were doing sport activity. But i don't even when my body is so hot inside. I never get red on my cheeks. Why is that? Why do some people blush when their sweaty?
Some people have more blood vessels close to the skin surface. When they feel hot and perspire, the blood vessels dilate thus the skin turns pink.
This is more observable in light-skinned people. Why do some people blush when their sweaty?
As your heart races, more blood is pumped in your veins and arteries and that's why any light skin person will start turning ';red'; and blush.
Exercise will cause you to become red in the face or '; Flushed';. If you have never '; Blushed'; then you haven't been in Texas.
um, im not sure actually, but i think its because when you sweat, you open glands, which cauzes redness.
when you are sweaty you are usually excersizing so ur heart rate goes up and more blood is going faster to your body turning ur cheeks red
only white people blush.

What is the best, longest lasting foundation (or powder) and blush?
I have very sensitive, very acne prone skin and my makeup doesnt last even 3 hours. I normally use MAC studio fix powder and clinique blush. What will look aswesome but not be too much for my skin? What is the best, longest lasting foundation (or powder) and blush?
check out bare minerals by bare escentuals at any ulta, sephora, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see, how it looks %26amp; feels on your skin, before spending money. my skin is dry %26amp; ultra sensitive, i haven't had a single break-out since using bare minerals. i recommend the ';original'; starter kit (at ulta), it includes 2 shades of foundation, mineral veil, warmth (bronzer), glee (blush), 2 brushes, and the how-to dvd. it costs 60.00, and lasts about 2-3 month. make sure, to watch the dvd, otherwise you'll use way too much. the full size foundation (25.00) lasts me about one year. What is the best, longest lasting foundation (or powder) and blush?
I have problems w/ my skin also. The only one that I have found that will stay on my face is Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, Concealer, and Powder. I've tried other brands that say they're long lasting-but this is the only one that worked for me. It costs a little more, but its worth it.

if your skin is sensitive you should definetly go with almay products. They have very hypo allergic products for sensitive skin and everything. Plus all of their products are really pretty and natural. They came out with Mineral Powder Foundation that is supposed to be amazing, my friend uses it and loves it. I need to go out and get it, but its in a tube thing and is supposed to work great!!! Hope it works for you.

What causes you to blush different shades of red?
Usually, when a person blushes, their face will be red. Sometimes, a person may blush pink, a pinkish red, or a brownish color. What causes the variations of color? What causes you to blush different shades of red?
the coloration is all in the nerves in ur face, the redder u r the hotter the nerves are. When u feel nervous ur brain sends signals to these nerves to go off
some peoples arent as bad as others
it all just depends! What causes you to blush different shades of red?

What shade of blush is best for my coloring?
I have blondish brown hair and blue eyes. Very fair skin. I usually wear a brown or bronze eyeshadow...
What color blush should I wear? Pink? Peach? Rosy? What shade of blush is best for my coloring?
This is easy! To choose the color of blush that will look best on you, follow my fail-proof 10 steps to buying the perfect blush=)
1.) Step outdoors AfTeR having been InDoOrS at a comfortable temperature for at least half an hour. Bring a hand mirror and a camera with you.
2.) Get the camera ready to capture a picture and then set it down somewhere safe and close enough to where you can easily reach it.
3.) Hold the mirror in one hand. With your other hand (which should be clean, dry and empty) use your thumb and index finger to PiNcH one of your cheeks (which should also be clean and dry) and pinch all over it. Be careful if you have long nails though. I wouldn't want a nail to dig into your skin!
4.) Keep pinching and watch in the mirror as the irritation causes the area to increase in color. But ReMeMbEr, there is no need to experience any pain during this process. Don't hurt yourself!
5.) Continue to pinch your cheek until it becomes quite colorful. This color should cover a larger area of skin than you would ever apply your blush to. The time pinching your cheek should only last about 10 seconds.
6.) Once you have color, quickly snap some photos of your cheek. You may use a camera phone, a disposable camera or whatever you like. However, the higher the quality of the camera is the more accurately your match between the color of your pinched cheek and the color of your cheek in the photo will be. You may use the mirror to help you take the shot, or put it down first so you can use both hands.
*This reason this is done outdoors is to ensure that colors are not distorted by artificial light. Also remember to take the picture outdoors AFTER having been InDoOrS. Otherwise your best color will not come out with the pinching. Especially if it is a hot or cold day outside.
*Another Tip! Take a BuNcH of pictures so that you're sure your cheek will be in one of them;)
7.) Develop/Print the pictures.
8.) Determine how much you are willing to pay for the blush and what KIND (not color) would work best for your unique skin (Example: if you break out easily you might want to purchase a blush that contains minerals or medication). If you decide that you want a very specific type- call the stores in your area to find out who carries that type before you get somewhere and they don't have what you wanted.
9.) Considering the decisions you made in step 8, decide where you are going shopping, how you're getting there, and go! But before you leave: DON'T FORGET YOUR PICTURES! Bring them with you!!!!
10.) Compare the color your cheek becomes when pinched (i.e. the color in the photo) to the color of the blushes for sale. Then, find the absolute closest match and buy it!
~*~*BIG BEAUTY TIP*~*~:
*****The Color of a Lightly Pinched Cheek is the Color that Looks Best on that Cheek. Always!*****
Let me know if you need help with applying blush. I'll try to be brief lol.
Oh! I almost forgot...blush actually warms up after you put it on your skin. In other words, because of your body temperature, the color from your blush will intensify after warming up so since you have fair skin, use blush sparingly.
Also because of your fair skin -if the color looks too 'painted on'- then next time you do your makeup try this:
Put your foundation on first (if you wear any), blush on second (or first if you don't use foundation), and then dust a light coat of loose powder over your entire face right over the blush and bare skin alike. You will still be able to see the blush, but it will look much more natural underneath the powder. What shade of blush is best for my coloring?
Try NARS Orgasm. It's a peachy pink with shimmer. It doesn't really show up on me but if you have very fair skin it would be good for you. It's very poplular and would be a great summer color.
definetly not a dark, or red color. try a rosy peach cream is color like these
http://www.abeautyfulsentiment.com/2008/…
or a creame blush by mac. go to macy's
Opt for the pink or peach. These colors match your skin tone and hair color better. Rosy colors are for people with tanner/darker skin.
***Hope this helps! Please, answer my question, my username is karihighman*** thanks! :-)
pinkish will be best for your skin type.
and if you could use a little bronzer, you can go into the darker, pinks.
either a light peach or a pink would look best. i would stay away from a red color.

How often should I replace powdered eye shadow and blush?
I hardly every wear it. I have some that is probably 18 months to 2 years old.How often should I replace powdered eye shadow and blush?
you should get rid of makeup after 1 year of use or the bacteria will spread. you need to throw away yours now!How often should I replace powdered eye shadow and blush?
You can clean it off by putting alcohol on a cotton pad and wiping the surface of the product, then let dry. Clean you brushes often too.
We do this in theatre with eyeshadow and blush that has to be shared, we clean it between people.
i wouldn't save it for that long because since you put it on your eyes it can easily get bacteria from your eyes and you just leae the cap on it so it probably isn't a good idea to keep eye makep that long!!!

What color Nars blush is good for dark skin?
I am an NC50 with yellow undertones. I am looking to buy a nars blush. At this point in my life, it is pretty pricey for me so I can afford only one. I am looking to wear this during the day...say everyday. What color Nars blush is good for dark skin?
hi,
I love nars blush and im nc50 studio tech ';mac';......well it depends? I love ';exhibit a';,';taj mahal';, ';crazed'; ';torrid'; well if i were you i would play it safe and do ';exhibit a'; because its a matte color but you will need a light hand! Or if you like berry reddish do ';crazed'; which it beautiful w/ a little shimmer. hopefully this helps :-)What color Nars blush is good for dark skin?
While I'm unfamiliar w/the brand you mention, I am very familiar w/aularale.com/7002's products. I've learned to wear all colors in blush - it's an accent to the rest of your outfit - like coordinating your hosiery and shoes to compliment your outfit. So, there's not really one shade that is good for every day unless you wear the same color clothing every day. Check out the combos on the website and do not be afraid to wear any of them - you only have to use a little of it.curly hair

Why does cream blush wipe off the foundation on my cheeks?
Whenever I use cream blush, it always ends up like, wiping off my foundation, so halfway through the day I end up with bare spots on my cheeks. Does that happen to anybody else? I don't get it. I thought it was just the brand that I tried, but I tried 2 other kinds and they all did it :-[ How can I stop it from doing that? Why does cream blush wipe off the foundation on my cheeks?
Stop using cream blush then. Personally I find it gross its like rubbing lipgloss on your cheeks! Why does cream blush wipe off the foundation on my cheeks?
Try putting the blush on before your foundation, then use a light dusting of powder to set it.

What is the best way to apply cream blush?
I have some great cream blush from Revlon but anyway I try to put it on it doesn't really work. Help? What is the best way to apply cream blush?
i have revlon cream blush too and i love it because it looks like i have natural rosy cheeks! hehe. this is what i do. with clean ring finger, i dot a little cream blush onto the apple of my cheeks and start blending upward (to your eyes). if you blend it upward, it looks more natural. by the way, if it still doesn't work, you may want to chack the color if it suits your skin.
if you have fair skin, go for pink shades. if you have medium skintone, then you look best in coral, pink-orange shades. if you have darker skin, go more red-brown.
hope it helps~!What is the best way to apply cream blush?
I use a brush from MAC.

Apply it little by little and blend blend blend.
Make sure not to cake it on. Just think natural.

What is the best makeup brush for cream blush?
I have two MAC cream blushes and I am not sure what kind of brush to use to put them on. Can someone help? What is the best makeup brush for cream blush?
I put on cream blush with a blush brush like this.

(well, actually, not that brush, but something like that)What is the best makeup brush for cream blush?
I recently found the softest makeup brush on http://www.progressivegrocer.com/progres鈥?/a> . It is made from pure dye-free and cruelty-free toray, features a square-dome head and is vegan, vegetarian and eco-friendly.
nope ALL wrong!!
what you need is a feathering fan like this.
http://products.westglowresortandspa.com鈥?/a>
it feathers your creme blush so it doesn't look to heavy and it makes it look natural and lit from within.
just stipple it in the blush, than stipple it on your cheeks belnding in and out.
hope i helped!
;]]]]
A duo-fibre stippling brush (such as the MAC 187 or 188) are perfect for this; stipple the brush against the pan of cream blush, and then stipple it onto the cheek. Don't swirl! This is buildable and gives a fantastic finish.
Its best to apply it with your middle finger, and blend with your ring and pointer fingers.
Step 7

put cream in your finger first and then put on your face apply by finger a little bit and then use cream blushes after. goodluck

What color blush to help conceal roseacea?
I'm wondering what color blush I should be wearing since I have roseacea and my cheeks are so red. Right now I'm wearing a natural glo color by Cover Girl. Anyone have anything better? What color blush to help conceal roseacea?
hey, i have been told to dab a vinegar/water solution on the redness at night before you go to bed and it will appear lighter. i don't have it, so i don't know for sure, someone i know has.....or try a cornstarch paste mask and sleep with it on, then wash off......may not have to use a blush to conceal it afterwards. What color blush to help conceal roseacea?
Cover your discoloration with a bit of green concealer-really. Then you can wear whatever shade of bluch compliments you.
You could try a red color but that might not be so good what about pinks. On the other hand red might be the right color for you at the timecurly hair

How do you know if you need blush or foundation?
I have pretty normal skin, not too dark or pale and no acne or anything like that. I use a cleaner toner and moisturizer to keep my skin looking healthy. I do use a moderate amount of black eyeliner and purple or grey eyeshadow to make my eyes stand out though. Is it weird that I only wear eye makeup? I don't have color on my lips either, just lip balm. How do you know if you need blush or foundation?
If you want to wear blush, wear a beige-ish kind of tone. Pink/red blush on your cheeks will make you look like you just went jogging. Foundation is optional- all it does is even out your skin tone. Lips don't need much attention unless they look wrinkley. I think you're doing fine so you might jst want to stick with your normal eye makeup. How do you know if you need blush or foundation?
why would that be weird? i didnt wear blush till may and i had been wearing makeup for a long time so it really depends if you need it dont just wear it because it seems weird, go into a mall and one of the big stores that sell makeup like macys or nordstrom and the people in the makeup dept. will do your makeup for you for free and tell you what you should wear. talk to a professional and they will have the best answer
Not weird at all i find it very nice how people do their eyes. I wish i knew how to make my eyes stand out and minus the blush and all that crap...The lip balm is good gives you a natural look and thta is what is in now...daytim lipbalm night time wear go glossy...but not too much to the point where you look like you been eating chicken lol
Look in the mirror and if you see Marilyn Manson staring back at you then you need blush and foundation %26amp; a new mirror! Take Care!
people wear foundation to cover up something...if you already have great skin then whats the point of wearing foundation? lol
i think u should put on lipgloss to give a better look and maybe blush
I just started wearing foundation, literally this week. It's just for evening out your skin tone and covering up imperfections. I realized it was time for me to get some after examining my face under artificial lighting and really looking closely. If you see numerous acne scars or blemishes, you should consider wearing foundation. You don't necessarily need to have acne or imperpections to wear foundation, just to give yourself healthy looknig skin all day. If you do decide to, try a mineral foundation like Physician's Formula Mineral Wear foundations which don't clog pores and include vitamins that are good for your skin.. As far as blush goes, you can wear it to give yourself a healthy and natural glow. Try a peach shade which is subtle but gives you a glow. Try Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in Peach Satin. If you want a lip color, try a tinted gloss. A good drugstore gloss is Covergirl Fruit Spritzers which have a sheer shiny tint.
nooo its not weird at all! i do the same thing, only eye makeup and a little lip balm. one of my firends decided to pile on the foundation when she didnt need it and she has horrible skin now. what your doing is fine :]
foundation evens out ur skin tone so it dosnt look bloucchy or to give you a more even tan instead of lighter in some areas or darker in the other. blush i just used to make urself look more roseyy.
i say if you dont need to hide any blemishes on your skin with foundation..then dont use it because it usually causes pimples and stuff lol i think just putting eye make up on is plenty :)
try it on your skin and if it looks good wear it often.
its fine to wear just eye makeup. blush and foundation work for everyone, as long as its the right tone. its your choice.
No its not weird to just wear eye makeup a lot of people just do that. I mean a lot of women dopnt need that other stuff and if you are blessed with healthy skin dont mess it up foundation and only use blush if you like too but if you dont use foundation you dont need it because you face has its own natural color pattern and ';cheek color'; If you wear such dramatic colors on your eyes then you probably would look more put together with maybe some lipgloss but dont if you dont like it
Try not using eyeliner first of all. You want them to see your whole face not just your eyes. Apply a light shadow with a darker color in the fold. Use only mascara. Use a light blush to accent your cheekbones and maybe just a lip gloss.

What is the difference between bronzer and blush?
What is a bronzer and what is it used for? And how do I use it?What is the difference between bronzer and blush?
Bronzer is used all over your face to make you look like you have a tan, and blush is red or pink and goes only on your cheeks to make you look like you have color. What is the difference between bronzer and blush?
Blush does just what it's name implies. It adds what should look like a natural blush to your cheeks. You can apply it in a couple different ways, depending on how you want it to look. When I use blush, I smile and then run the brush in circles over the apples of my cheeks and drag it a little along my cheekbones. You can use different shades of blush, depending on your tone of your skin and what you want your blush to look like. I use two different ones, depending on what I'm wearing makeup for. I use a more natural, glowing pink blush for everyday wear. In the evenings I use a little more rose colored blush to add a little color.
Bronzer makes your face look a little more tan or adds depth to your cheeks, depending on where you use it. Sometimes I use it all over my face to look a little more color. I also use just right under my cheekbones, which makes it look like I have more defined cheekbones. Just be careful that you don't use too much, or it could turn out looking a little orange.
With both, just make sure that you blend it well and use a color that matches your skin tone so it looks natural. It shouldn't look like you painted your face, but rather enhance your features and look naturally gorgeous.
Have fun!
bronzer works to make you look tan- you apply it everywhere. it's got more of a brown tone to it.
blush is to be used on the apples of your cheeks, a bit on your forhead, nose, and chin. it's supposed to give you a natural 'rosy' look...blushes have more pinky and red tones to them.
Bronzer is an all over thing, blush is made for your cheeks.
I actually use bronzer as a blush because it's more of a subtle color change, and still allows my natural blush to show through, should the occasion arise.
bronzer is used to make you look more tan, and blush is used to make your cheeks look like you blushing, and it shows of your cheek bones
bronzer is to make you look bronze/taned. blush is for the redness in your cheeks.
you can put bronzer anywhere. you can use powder, or spray or liquid stuff
A bronzer is used to make your skin look more tanned, whereas blush would be to make your cheeks look more rosy (thus its name).
one makes you look like you were slapped in the face.. and the other makes you look orange and nasty like lindsay lohan

Good Luck! What color of blush is best for fair skin, brown hair and green eyes?
I have fair skin and green eyes as well, and I use Benefit's Dandelion shade. It's really pale pink, like bubble gum almost. I love it, I think it gives just a hint of color, cuz anything more than that makes me look like a clown.
you just described me! lol. anyways, I use physicians choice cause it's the best makeup out there. It has all three makeups in it. look it up on wallmart and buy the one that says fair skin
ive got all that except for the brown hair, i use a light rosy blush. it looks really natural and stuff.

Is it possible to learn how to Blush in specific situations?
Is it possible to learn how to Blush in specific situations? Hypnotherapists state that they can help people to stop blushing using NLP/hypnotherapy. But where a person wants to blush instead of learning how to stop blushing, is this possible?. Or is it like trying to unlearn how to ride a bicycle? I am willing to be used as a guinea pig?
Serious answers only please. Is it possible to learn how to Blush in specific situations?
i would guess that it would be a matter of learning to control your bodies natural reactions.
i know that i can make my heart race by thinking of certain things, whether that be arousal, fear, etc. i can make it happen - so if a person were to try to think of something to make them embarrassed or ';on the spot'; i would expect it would make them blush. although, some people's pigmentation might not allow for the blushing to be seen.
i don't know if you could ';re-train'; your bodies natural reactions to certain things that you would blush by experiencing that which would not normally make you blush. i think it is more realistic to attempt to think of things that might already make you blush in order to appear as though you are blushing at whatever situation you are in, in which you would want that to be seen as your reaction.

How do you apply bronzer as a blush?
I like to use bronzer as a blush. I've heard of a few different way you are supposed to apply it (some say on the cheek bones, some say to underline the apples of your cheeks, etc.....). Which is the right way?How do you apply bronzer as a blush?
You can apply it like blush by smiling and doing the apples of your cheeks and upward toward your temples or you can get an all over glow by doing your cheeks, forehead and nose. How do you apply bronzer as a blush?
Just on the apples of your cheeks! You should use either one or the other
I agree with above. Use it on apples of cheeks. If you are fair like me, they make peach-colored bronzers that work well. Try some of the ones from Physicians Formula. They have a bronzer that doubles as an eyeshadow.

How can you determine what color blush to use?
I have fair, almost porcelain pale skin with dark hair and blue eyes. What would be a good color for my skin, or how can I determine it?How can you determine what color blush to use?
you can usually determine from you skin color. if you're light skinned, pale orwhite then a VERY light pink blush on the apple of the cheeks does the trick. if you have tan skin a MEDIUM darkish pink shade is best. if you want a brand name, mac or sephora or chanel are good! How can you determine what color blush to use?
if u r black and u want it 2 stand out use pink
if u are white and u want it to stand out use pink
if u dont want it to stand out use a tan or light brown or possibly light light pink
i do too! but man oh man do i wish that i had blue eyes!!
mine are brown.
just experiment with colors...
i usually wear a very light pink, and a tiny bit.

What is the best area on the cheeks, and method of applying blush?
I know that you can apply it underneath the cheek bones to give the illusion of high cheekbones, but does that look good? What other ways can you use blush? What is the best area on the cheeks, and method of applying blush?
I find it so fabulous to simply apply a bit to only the apples of your cheeks. It gives the illusion that you've just taken in a bit of sun without looking unnatural. What is the best area on the cheeks, and method of applying blush?

the best way to do this,is smile broadly, then you take your brush and apply just on your apples, not to much now so you dont look like a clown.have fun.
it all depends of the shape of your face, the link below might help.
put it behind the cheek bones too.
I just smile and put it on the apples of my cheeks so I look my age. I am a teen.
smile and apply it on the apples of your cheeks,, that's one of the best places to apply blush.

suck your cheeks in and apply the blush/

Where to find a retractable blush like Maybelline used to have?
Is there a good, not too expensive, retractable blush that you suggest?
It's funny I found this retractable blush in the dollar store. I loved it - so convenient and it stayed on a long time. It's about to finish soon and I tried to find a replacement, but... Maybelline does no longer produce it, and I could not find any other brand in the retractables.Where to find a retractable blush like Maybelline used to have?
There might be something available online, but you can call Maybellines 1-800 number, and even if they don't make it anymore, at the very least they will send you coupons. The same goes for Revlon and CoverGirl and all the rest. I've received coupons from them all. I called them because I'm waiting for them to come out with lighter brown mascaras that look more natural for fair-skinned, ash and blonde ppl like myself.

What's the difference between blush and eyeshadow?
Besides the cheek and the eye aspect...Are they basically the same powder? What's the difference between blush and eyeshadow?
You definitely CAN use the Blush as eyeshadow too however... blush and eyeshadow typically have different textures. For example, blush is a little more universal ... it is more of a dry powder and can be applied basically to anywhere on the face. However ... eyeshadow on the other hand varies GREATLY in texture (the way it feels and looks on skin) especially since there are so many different colors and styles. You cant just use ANY eye shadow as blush and you will have to be careful because the colors will be brighter and either too luminescent or pale. Eyeshadow could be more of a liquidy texture and therefore I would never recommend you even make a mistake of using an eyeshadow as blush. As for blush as eyeshadow, anything to make life easier and if it is a pretty color both ways, I say go for it. Hope this helps. What's the difference between blush and eyeshadow?
Another difference is that not all red pigments are approved (by the FDA) for use around the eyes. So, since blushes may use these pigments, they're not for use around the eye area.
i think theyre pretty much the same thing just one it meant for you eyes and the other is for your cheeks. but im sure you could switch them up if you want
blush is used on the cheek bones, eyeshadow is used on the eyelids or below the brow

Blush is made for your cheeks not eyes. Eyeshadow, hence the name EYEshadow is made for the eyes.
Yes theyare mainly the same powder. I once had to use blush for an eyeshadow because my pink eyeshadow was gone....so yes tthey are mainly the same :)

i guess so.....if you want to use eyeshadow powder for blush it would be okk....

Why do some people blush only on their cheeks and others (like me) blush all over their face?
I'd love to blush just in my cheeks. You know, like when people look like they're cold, and they have the little pinks dots across their cheeks? I'm really bad at explaining things, haha. But maybe you guys know what I'm talking about.
Is there anyway to only blush in your cheeks, or are people just designed to blush a certain way and that's it? It's just so cute! Why do some people blush only on their cheeks and others (like me) blush all over their face?
It probably has to do with the amount of blood vessels located on a certain area...
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/c鈥?/a>
The science of blushing
When you're caught ashamed or in an awkward position, your body releases a bit of adrenaline. Your heart rate goes up. You breathe faster. And often, blood vessels that deliver blood to your face dilate--they open up or relax a little. More blood than usual flows to the skin of your face, and your face darkens or turns noticeably red.
My suggestion is...since you only want to blush on your cheeks. First use a foundation to make your face an even colored tone...Then try putting on a cheek stain. (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>
It gives your cheeks a natural blush instead of a powdery one.
Best wishes. =DWhy do some people blush only on their cheeks and others (like me) blush all over their face?
i just put it on my cheeks, thats were its meant to be.
when i blush my chest also gets red! it really sucks
That all depends on your genes. You are destined to blush the way you are born. I think its cute when you blush all over its genuine. There isn't a way to change this it's genetics.

How can i not blush during a class speech?
I always blush while giving an oral presentation to my class and i want to know how not to.How can i not blush during a class speech?
Just picture everyone naked, duh :P
but seriously, it is very natural for you to get nervous and blush when you are giving a speech. Just remember that noone is really paying attention to what you have to say, and that there is no pressure. If you still continue to blush, at least you'll look cute ;)How can i not blush during a class speech?
take 5 deep breaths, relax, count to ten before you go to make a speech--
remind yourself that you will be up there speaking for just a few minutes anyway
also remember all your classmates feel just as nervous as you do or more nervous
also, when you are up in front of the class, admit you are nervous, make a joke about it, and laugh--then relax and give your speech
you will do fine!!
also the night before your speech practice in the mirror and pinpoint why you blush and get nervous, then work on it, smile at yourself and give your self a hug. good luck, but you will be ok
try not to get nervous.
don't think negatively.
think positive.
if you can, volunteer to go first to get it out of the way it.
hope this helps
first- take deep breathes before giving a speech
second- think that as if no ones watching
third- be calm
hope that helps

How do you apply blush on high checkboens?
And what color should I use?My skin tone is about the color of my avatar. How do you apply blush on high checkboens?
If you're really trying to play up those high cheekbones, I recommend using two colors of blush. First, using a fan brush, apply a light/sheer color along the top of your cheekbone beginning at the apple of your cheek (the fleshy part) and sweeping upward along the curve of your eye. The point is make kind of a backward ';C';. Then follow up along the hollow of your cheekbone with a darker or rosier color. You'll want to use a full blush brush for this. Beginning on the cheekbone itself, brush (lightly) along the bone towards the hairline. Make sweeping motions and make sure you tap the excess powder from both brushes before applying them to your skin. There really is no exact set colors for a woman of your color - we African American women are complimented by an array of different hues and tones. My advice to you is to experiment and have someone you trust nearby to give you advice on how a color looks on you.How do you apply blush on high checkboens?
i would go like a little bit of a light blush...and u take a blush brush and you sweep it on lol
well if u still need help. u can go to covergirl.com and do the bueaty consutation. it gives u application tips and everything
Okay to apply the blush, suck in your lips where you look like a fish (funny but true) and your cheek bones should apear and you just brush upward along your cheekbone. And for the tone, usually a light color like a pinkish looks great on your type of skin tone! Hope this helps :-D
Applying blush is an art. You should start by the ears and drag the brush gently toward your nose. Use the blush on the bottom of the cheek bone! Never stroke your brush in the opposite direction. This causes you to blush and your color will often be applied either too dark or too light. Also, to accentuate high cheek bones use a shimmery powder on the apples of your cheeks up high.

What makes certain people blush and heat up easier than others?
I mean gosh! How embarrassing! What causes that to happen? My doctor, my boss, and of couse even some of the people of the opposite sex make me turn as red as an apple. They tend to be always men. And afterwords I get so frustrated because I feel so stupid. What causes that? What makes certain people blush and heat up easier than others?
It's a vascular (related to veins) thing. People who blush easily might have more capillaries at the surface of their skin, or thinner facial skin. Blushing happens when a person is under certain forms of stress. Being embarrassed, for example, causes a sudden release of hormones like adrenaline and cortisol; these hormones cause the capillaries to dilate (get larger) and flood with blood. The result? A beet-red face.
So there's no need to be embarrassed! :-) You don't have any control over the matter. Just blame your biology.
(I'm one of those crazy-blushers, myself, so I know how you feel. It can be embarrassing, but I just try to laugh it off...)What makes certain people blush and heat up easier than others?
embarassment most of the time. it could also be attraction, but from the sounds of it, most likely not.
Could it be their finger up your wazoo?
i don't know but i am the same way
Embarrassment reaction is determined by our culture.
You may have been raised in a Conservative or sheltered background that makes you feel a little more embarrassed than the next person.
Don't worry, most people will find this cute or endearing.

How can I wear blush when i have a red face?
I have pale skin, in mac cosmetics I'm nw20.
I try and coverup redness around my cheeks and chin and it works for a bit, then i put on blush - and then an hour later my face looks all pink.
How can I get an even skintone and then the little amount of blush for a pretty look? For some reason I just keep looking a bit red. Is there even any point into putting on blush then? How can I wear blush when i have a red face?
Try a transfer-proof makeup so the color stays and you have a clean palette to put blush and since its transfer proof it will stay on for at least 12 hours. You can email me for detailsHow can I wear blush when i have a red face?
Go for a finishing powder on your cheeks to set the foundation in place and then find a blush that does not have a lot of red in it. I used to have the same problem but you have to go for blush that looks like its kinda brown or browny pink. You could even try a very light peachy color. All these colors may look not so pretty in the compact but when put on can really transform and brighten you up. also dont put it directly on the middle close to the nose. Apply is closer to the ear and slightly under the cheek bone then sheer it out as it gets closer to the nose and use powder cuz cream smears your foundation.
good luck and vote for me please!

How do I not blush around certain people?
When I'm around certain people or in certain situation I blush uncontrollably or stumble over my words like crazy. How can I not do this as much anymore? How do I not blush around certain people?
Start wearing more foundation, that way when you blush you can't see it or start wearing blush so that then when yyou blush around those people just say its my blush. hope i help! PS as for the stumbling thing just practice in your room with a picture of one of the people or something! Good LUCK!How do I not blush around certain people?
you know you just have to be confident ..
try not to think about the '; certain people '; as much ..
same with the '; situation '; you still will blush , but as long as you think of it in a different way , you should go down to a min. blushing ..
and then later , nvr know .. may not blush anymore XD
what does it matter if you blush? i mean though it embarrassing, but its natural. if you want it to stop, just try controlling your thoughts. (;
think of them as just another human being sharing the planet with you.
its a trust thing. If you know them but not as well you tend to blush if you like them or anything like that

Nars blush in Orgasm is a total favorite which is a peachy pink with shimmer or you could try Benefits coralista blush in CORAlista which is a coral pink sheen. The color pay off for both products is very pretty. For a more peachy look you should try Benefits Georgia blush for a light soft, peachy look to your cheeks. What is the perfect blush that gives a rosy summer glow?
I find that the perfect blushes for summer are gels and stains. I absolutely love Benefit's PosieTint, its a light pink shade that gives you just the right amount of colour.

How do you make blush accent your cheekbones?
I am looking to create more of a defines cheekbone. How do you make blush accent your cheekbones?
smile and put the blush on the chubby part of the cheecks than when you are done doing that you should probbaly suck your cheecks in and then when you see the hollow part of your cheecks put the blush there!!!How do you make blush accent your cheekbones?
On the apples of your cheeks and cheek bones
take a brush and put it over them. Don't put it all
over your cheeks, that's the mistake people make.
Start the blush where this girl is and go up, into the side
burn hairline. Put on a little extra to make them standout more.
But not too much!
http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/鈥?/a>
Take your brush and dip it in the blush (or swirl it if you are using a makeup cake) and then tap it. Then smile so the apples of your cheeks are showing. Tap the brush on each apple and then sweep upwards towards the corners of your eyes. Blend it in and you will have a natural blushing look that will help define your cheek bones. Also use a color that compliments your skin tone and is the shade of your own natural pinkness. You can usually go one shade up to make it more dramatic but the best blush is a natural one.
get a blush that has two different tones. a darker one and a lighter one. (or you could always just buy 2 different blushes, but make sure the colors compliment each other..)
put the darker shade underneath your cheekbone, a little lower than where you put your blush regularly.
then, put the lighter shade right above the darker one; where you would normaly put blush. smile, and where the part is chubby, apply it there.
thats how you get defined cheekbones! : )
