What is the best area on the cheeks, and method of applying blush?

I know that you can apply it underneath the cheek bones to give the illusion of high cheekbones, but does that look good? What other ways can you use blush?What is the best area on the cheeks, and method of applying blush?
I find it so fabulous to simply apply a bit to only the apples of your cheeks. It gives the illusion that you've just taken in a bit of sun without looking unnatural.What is the best area on the cheeks, and method of applying blush?

the best way to do this,is smile broadly,then you take your brush and apply just on your apples,not to much now so you dont look like a clown.have fun.
