And what color should I use?My skin tone is about the color of my avatar. How do you apply blush on high checkboens?
If you're really trying to play up those high cheekbones, I recommend using two colors of blush. First, using a fan brush, apply a light/sheer color along the top of your cheekbone beginning at the apple of your cheek (the fleshy part) and sweeping upward along the curve of your eye. The point is make kind of a backward ';C';. Then follow up along the hollow of your cheekbone with a darker or rosier color. You'll want to use a full blush brush for this. Beginning on the cheekbone itself, brush (lightly) along the bone towards the hairline. Make sweeping motions and make sure you tap the excess powder from both brushes before applying them to your skin. There really is no exact set colors for a woman of your color - we African American women are complimented by an array of different hues and tones. My advice to you is to experiment and have someone you trust nearby to give you advice on how a color looks on you.How do you apply blush on high checkboens?
i would go like a little bit of a light blush...and u take a blush brush and you sweep it on lol
well if u still need help. u can go to covergirl.com and do the bueaty consutation. it gives u application tips and everything
Okay to apply the blush, suck in your lips where you look like a fish (funny but true) and your cheek bones should apear and you just brush upward along your cheekbone. And for the tone, usually a light color like a pinkish looks great on your type of skin tone! Hope this helps :-D
Applying blush is an art. You should start by the ears and drag the brush gently toward your nose. Use the blush on the bottom of the cheek bone! Never stroke your brush in the opposite direction. This causes you to blush and your color will often be applied either too dark or too light. Also, to accentuate high cheek bones use a shimmery powder on the apples of your cheeks up high.
