What's the difference between blush and eyeshadow?

Besides the cheek and the eye aspect...Are they basically the same powder? What's the difference between blush and eyeshadow?
You definitely CAN use the Blush as eyeshadow too however... blush and eyeshadow typically have different textures. For example, blush is a little more universal ... it is more of a dry powder and can be applied basically to anywhere on the face. However ... eyeshadow on the other hand varies GREATLY in texture (the way it feels and looks on skin) especially since there are so many different colors and styles. You cant just use ANY eye shadow as blush and you will have to be careful because the colors will be brighter and either too luminescent or pale. Eyeshadow could be more of a liquidy texture and therefore I would never recommend you even make a mistake of using an eyeshadow as blush. As for blush as eyeshadow, anything to make life easier and if it is a pretty color both ways, I say go for it. Hope this helps. What's the difference between blush and eyeshadow?
Another difference is that not all red pigments are approved (by the FDA) for use around the eyes. So, since blushes may use these pigments, they're not for use around the eye area.
i think theyre pretty much the same thing just one it meant for you eyes and the other is for your cheeks. but im sure you could switch them up if you want
blush is used on the cheek bones, eyeshadow is used on the eyelids or below the brow
blush is used on the cheek bones, eyeshadow is used on the eyelids or below the brow ya
Blush is used on the cheeks and eyeshadow is used on the eye lids.
Blush is made for your cheeks not eyes. Eyeshadow, hence the name EYEshadow is made for the eyes.
Yes theyare mainly the same powder. I once had to use blush for an eyeshadow because my pink eyeshadow was gone....so yes tthey are mainly the same :)
