And how do you get the smokey look on your eyes? Is their a web site that can show me? Do you have any tips? How do you apply blush the right way?
To apply blush, use a brush and start 2 finger widths away from your nose (which should be the apple of your cheek) you can find it pretty easily just by smiling. The you want to brush in an upward stroke blending it up and into your hairline so you don't have an abrupt stopping point or look like you have racing stripes on your face. ;)

Ths was just in instyle magazine. I tried it and swear by it---
Get a shade of blush that is really bright. I used Bobbi Brown's ';peony';---look it up online to see the color. Apply it in a circular motion just to the apples of your cheeks---blending upward toward your jaw. Most of the color is going to be on your ';apples'; of the cheek---and they just fade it out a bit moving up toward your temples so they don't look like 2 round circles! This should all be VERY soft---but the bright color really is beautiful and gives you a wonderful glow. The makeup girl on ';what not to wear'; always suggests this tip too (use a really bright color) on her makeovers.
just make sure you get a nice color blush not too dark for your skin you want it to compliment your face not be 3 times darker
and I also like STARs ideas
do the fish- face with your cheecks sucked in. that will help you know where to put the blush, as in which area, if you don't already know.
then apply from front to back in small quick strokes. you can use fingers or a cotton ball to smooth it in and blend it into the skin a little. usually the light pink or a pale red (it's a kind of pink, but close to red.. ) is the most popular, but for mabe olive or brown colored skin, you could go a little darker into red, or lighter into a pale-bright pink.
hope you can get it on properly!

Blush: smile, apply blush to the apple %26amp; run up to your hairline.
Smokey eyes: Champagne to the eyebrows; I use Bare Escentuals liner w/a brush so I can smudge it, then run a thin line of sealer close to the lashes for extra pop, curl the lashes, %26amp; add at least two coats of L'Oreal Carbon Black Voluminous mascara - comb between coats if necessary.
All i do is suck my cheeks in and apply it where it sticks out then smile and put it on my apples
im sure www.specktra.net might have somthing to hlep you also
I use two different shades of blush. Use any color you like with another color thats maybe a shade or two darker. Start with the lighter shade and apply on your cheek bones. Smile big and apply on the apples of your cheek working your way up to your temples. Then use the darker shade and make a fishy face. Apply the darker shade where your cheek creases in and blend upwards to your temple. Make sure there isn't a gap between the two shades and make sure that the two shades are not drastically different from one another. Choose shades that blend well together.
Follow these steps for the best smokey look:
1. Start with a cream base all over the lid.
2. With a round tip brush apply your favorite dark shadow (black preferred) from the inner crease (near tear duct) to the outter crease. Making a half circle.
3. Blend so that the half circle isn't a perfect line.
4. Close to your lash line, blending upward, apply a shimmer pink/cream color towards the dark shadow.
5. Apply the same shimmer shadow to your brow bone to accentuate the brow
6. Line the inner eye with black liner
7. Using a thin brush line you lash lines with black shadow making a very fine line.
8. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara
roll it on your cheek bone
Think of something really embarrassing, and you will blush.. the rest is just an extension of your insecurity to try to obtain unnatural perfection. Smokey look in your eyes, Go to a pool hall for a few hours.
